Luna Chu was a delinquent girl born and raised on Ord Mantell. While her family wasn't the most well of, She had everything a kid could ask for: 2 loving parents, shelter, decent food, and an education; none of it mattered to her. Luna hated school and saw her parents as annoying. As a young girl she would skip school to hang out with the 'cool people' in the back alleyways overdosing on drugs, rocking out to music, and occasionally doing work for the syndicates. Exactly on her 18th birthday, her parents kicked her out, "Come back once you've gotten your life together you slutty bitch" were the words from her mom. For awhile Luna worked as a stripper at multiple nightclubs. She had a small place of her own but typically went home with different guys to save money on water and electricity. Luna became quite popular and eventually made her way to the big city, Coruscant, where she continued her line of work in the Uscru Entertainment District.
In her sparetime, Luna would use the money she made to work on her own personal projects. During her time on Ord Mantell, she was fascinated with different types of machinery brought in by visitors, smugglers, and traders. So she decided to work on a few crafts during her sparetime. The city of Coruscant introduced Luna to another level of engineering that she fell in love with: cyberware. Although it was still uncommon, she was captivated in the idea of improving her body through mechanical pieces. Seeing people with cybernetic eyes or limbs inspired her to have a go at making her own.
Some time went by and Luna realized she wasn't cut out for the entertainment work. Having to please others wasn't her style, she was looking to do some nova shit, be free, jam out, chase her own dreams. Having to work all night also took time away for her to work on her tech projects during the day. On a regular stroll on the street a flyer smacked her right in the face. She angrily ripped it away and was about to crumple it until she saw the word 'recruiting. She unraveled the flyer, "Clean up these streets! Recruiting, New Republic Security Forces." While being a figure of justice wasn't her thing, it seemed badass to walk around with a gun and find some action. It was like being a gang member, except you get viewed as a Hero at the end of it. Luna was always a tough cookie and a good fighter as a child, so there seemed no harm in joining. Thus she went to her nearest police department to apply.
"Arrested for underage drinking, use of illegal drugs, 3 counts of assault, caught having sex in an alleyway, destruction of government property, and jaywalking. Why would we accept you?" It appeared that Luna wasn't exactly the candidate they were wanting, but with a bit of persuasion she weaseled her way through the system. Luckily for her, they only had access to her Coruscant record. If they knew the things she did in Ord Mantell, Luna would still be shaking her ass for greedy men. Luna was an excellent recruit within the academy; she excelled both academically and physically. Things started to change once she began her ranger duties. A 'few' misconducts here and there turned her into the notorious troublemaker of the district. Despite what the others think, Luna loves being a ranger and strives to hit a big bust someday.

Luna has a love for modifying things, whether it is equipment or her own body. While many write her off as a ditzy no good slut, she's constantly in her workshop tinkering on something. Her bike and her pistol are her most prized possessions, and she would kill anyone for damaging them. Luna's craze with cybernetics occurred after she had her hand shot in the line of duty. She could have just replaced the hand, but she decided to remove the whole arm instead. She scours the net in search of ways to modify her body even further.

Engineer. Growing up in the streets taught Luna a thing or two about being a mechanic. With the right tools she can repair all types of equipment or craft something all together. If she gets her hands on a piece of technology, she can find a way to break it down or reverse engineer it if given enough time.
Sharpshooter. She ain't no Preef Callo, but Luna is quick to the draw. She has a good steady hand, able to shoot while moving or from long distance with extreme confidence.
Mixed Martial Artist. Luna has studied a few forms of martial arts including Magnus Kasi, Karada Seigyo, and more, however she is not masterful at any of them. She is a foe for any combatant to be weary of, and rest assured if she gets her opponent on the ground it will be easy pickings for her.
Detective. While she isn't too bright Academically, Luna manages to put puzzle pieces together quickly. She has uncanny pattern recognition, sharp instincts, and great critical thinking skills.
