DESCRIPTION​

For many, the corners of the map have long since been filled in, but for those adventurous types in the galaxy, the League of Xeno Explorers is always looking for new members. Once a proud organisation that plotted the heavens, the group is a shadow of its former self, but operates none the less. Of many of the things it has achieved during its storied existance, the creation of the LXE Astrogation Vessel is by far the least impressive however.

Created as a way to convince their donors that the League was actually still doing something, the LXE Astrogation Vessel is designed simply for explorers to chart new routes into the depths of space, explore uncharted parts of the galaxy, and manage not to get lost, stranded or dead in the process.

Consisting of a large engine at the rear of the vessel, the rocket ship is capable of VTOL and consists of spartan accomodation for its pilot and co-pilot, a small medical and research bay (combined into one small room) and sufficient ration packs to last several years. If one wanted, it can be stocked with 'actual food', but hardened League members describe such efforts as 'against the spirit of things'. Relying on its high speed to escape sticky situations, the ship in packing an anti-ground weapon.

Most ships with proton torpedoes are military class vessels I think so probably a blurb in the legality section would be appropriate even if they are used for shooting space monsters.

Removed - don't really see much point in it being there given the intent of the vessel.

It seems pretty similar to the IV-9 rangemaster then so it could just be a reskin unless there is some differences you want aside from aesthetic. Carrying capacity and speed are different but I don't know how much you want those differences and if their key points of what you're going for.

They aren't a massive factor in the change I think. Happy for it to be a reskin :-)
