Tiberius was born of humble origins but found himself propelled to nobility when his force sensitivity was discovered by the Feudal Lord of House Rhem. Born to a family of gatherers and farmers, his early years were spent tilling the fields and tending to a variant of Bantha stocked for their meat, fur and hardy hide. His memory during this brief part of life was filled with both happiness but hardship as his kin endured day to day to ensure they kept their heads above water. They were by no means rich or lived a life of excess, but the land they tended to was their own and the commissions required of them by their Lord were often easily fulfilled. It was a relationship of mutual understanding. They would provide food and materials produced by their land in return for their safety and protection. This arrangement was commonplace on Kilia IV.

Once his force sensitivity was discovered, Tiberius was required to join the Kilian Rangers as a Squire upon puberty. This position elevated him to the ranks of upper class. This came at the cost of him leaving his Family and homestead behind until his training was complete. As Force Sensitives were a rarity on the isolated Planet it was a mandate imposed on all by the locales reigning Lords.

During his tenure under house Rhem Tiberius squired under a selection of Rangers to learn the various tasks of their Order, as well as the knowledge to use the Force to enhance their abilities. His initial studies were dedicated to the Kilian Rangers mandate, to act as a shield to those who fell under their Lords protection, uphold the law and impose justice when required. Despite Kilia IV's isolated location within the sector, slavers and marauders were a somewhat frequent occurrence on their lands. The first to fall victim to their perversions were the defenseless citizens that resided outside the settlements fortifications, usually those of lower caste and class. As upholders of justice and shields of its denizens the Kilian Rangers were often sent to meet these invaders and save their captors.

Over the following decade Tiberius continued to Squire beneath his assigned Rangers under the watchful gaze of Lord Rhem, where he would then be recognized as a fully fledged member of the Order. His promotion was held with the necessary ceremony, an intimate gathering of peers, nobles and privileged lower class along with his aging biological Parents. As tradition dictated he was handed down one of the few Siang Lances in service, an outdated modified Sporting Rifle paired with a Gauntlet, the two badges of an official Kilian Ranger. He was also formally adopted into House Rhem and sworn into office where he would protect his fellow Kilians until his death, an honour many dreamed of. The Lord of the region awarded his Parents a retinue of helpers to aid them on their farm allowing them an early form of semi retirement. All was well. Until it wasn't.

Another decade passed. Pirates and Marauders weren't the only aliens to visit Kilia IV.
A duo of hooded figures had been reported over a year yet their presence eluded even the most skilled tracker among the Rangers rank. The reason for their frequent landings were unknown and their minimal interference with the Feudal Lords activities had drawn little scrutiny or concern. It was only until Tiberius had witnessed the death of his adoptive Father, the Lord of House Rhem, at the hands of a fellow Ranger, a man who he squired with in his youth. Though he was not the boy he remembered, he was barely a shadow of the man he knew as his amber eyes stared back with little remorse. Rangers did not possess the sensitive attunement to their Jedi and Sith counterparts but Tiberius could feel a void from within his former comrade, a darkness he had not noticed until that moment.

As a Shield sworn to protect, and a blade honourbound to deliver justice, Tiberius sprung forward with weapon drawn and ready to strike down his Lords murderer. He was unprepared, and unequipped, to deal with what happened next. A flash of light erupted at the extension on a drawn hand accompanied by shocking pain that sent him to his knees, teeth gritting so tight he thought they would shatter. His consciousness was stolen from him almost instantly and his next waking moment found him surrounded by his former tutors with stagnant confusion in their wake. Kilian Renegades did not possess this kind of power and the lack of outside knowledge did little to help their conclusions. Tiberius has informed his teachers of their former students betrayal but they were duty bound as Rangers to remain on Kilia IV and uphold the peace which had been fractured at their Lords demise. They were to remain and act as the Shields of House Rhem. Tiberius would leave his Planet, his home and family to fulfill his mandate of justice.

He would leave the Kilia System in pursuit.

DESCRIPTION
The Siang Lance is a modified Sporting Blaster Rifle used by the Kilian Rangers. These Sporting Rifles are often handed down from Ranger to Squire upon their initiation and are personalized to suit the individual, yet retain the same basic principles. First and foremost the grips are altered to imitate a blades hilt, its curved shape straightened. Secondly a permanent bladed bayonet is attached to the underside of the barrel so the Lance can be used as a hybrid weapon, both ranged and in melee.

The type of Sporting Blaster used is irrelevant, but due to Kilia IV limited cache of technology, the Rifles are generally of older stock and its damage output is minimal compared to newer versions. Where it lacks in raw power, it makes up for in range and an alternative stun option at closer range.

The Siang Lance is modified further by stripping it of its heavier components so it can be wielded by a single hand. The end result is a rifle designed to be held like a sword without compromising its ranged capabilities and accuracy.

LEGALITY
Legal. Ownership of sporting rifles is not restricted in most of the Galaxy, however openly carrying such a weapon in public might be on more "civilized" worlds. On less civilized worlds, it still might draw unwanted scrutiny.

To create a hybrid ranged/melee weapon commonly used by the Kilian Rangers

Kilian Ranger Attire

This is a suit traditionally worn by most members of the Kilian Rangers who hold the title of Ranger. This full body attire consists of several layers and doubles as a light armour capable of minimizing some damage. The majority of clothing worn are made from the hide of Kilian Bantha which is renowned for its durability and sturdiness. It also offers protection from harsh wind and is somewhat waterproof. The undergarments are made from a higher quality of synthcloth, furs and cotton, usually adopted by the nobles of Kilia IV.

Various insignia adorn the trench coat signifying rank and house, and family colours line its plain leather. Underneath the attire lies a stitch of armourweave as an added layer of protection.

DESCRIPTION
The Kilian gauntlets are gauntlets created and used by the Kilian Rangers, and their darkside counterparts, the Kilian Renegades. When activated, the gauntlets pass a small, magnetic field along the entire length that is capable of repelling blaster bolts, lightsabers, vibroblades, etc. It also provides reinforcement of the fist for punching people in the face really hard. Because of how the magnetic field functions it cannot be active when anything is held in the hand, which renders the gauntlets virtually useless for those who want to carry two handed weapons, or use a weapon in the offhand. They extend over the hands and up the forearms to the elbow and cannot be used in conjunction with standard hand armor. They do not protect the inside of the hands, and therefore cannot be used to grab a lightsaber or vibroblade.

To create an acceptable alternative to the Shield Gauntlet carried by Kilian Rangers (currently restricted to non force users)

The Iruuk Lineage of the Eternal Legionaries followed the darker aspect of lifes cycle. Death, and its necessity for future life. The founder, Iruuk the First, did not see the darkside as a beacon of hatred and power but a force that sought an equality through decay for rebirth. Unlike some in the Order who strove for domination or ancient knowledge to conquer, the Iruuk operated in shadow to maintain the delicate balance through the negative spectrum of the Force.
This very small Lineage was loosely based on the rule of Two. One Legionnaire and an Acolyte. The duo would commit to a personal relationship where Teacher would willingly impart their wisdom and knowledge to the Student in deaths necessity, while also cautioning restraint as excess would favor too far to one side of the scale.
They killed the 'cancers' in the life-stream, usually where life stagnated or became too sour. They also killed those that reigned too much destruction, and the Iruuks predecessors have been known to swing their blade at a fellow member of the Eternal.

The young Acolyte was Apprenticed to his Master at the age of 8 and was discovered on his native Planet Kalee. The minor Kaleesh was raised from birth in a traditional household and taught his heritage and traditions. When signs started showing of his sensitivity in the Force his Family were approached and convinced to give their child to the Order. They accepted. The newly appointed Acolyte was instructed in the Lineages beliefs and methods which followed the darkside teachings of the Sith in certain aspects. It was never about power, but the inevitable end of things. Before his ascension to the rank of Legionnaire he was cast out into the wider world to fulfill his mandate and deliver death where required. His Master handed him his Sword, a weapon forged through Sith Alchemy and empowered by its wielders dark intent. He also handed him the Lineage name of Iruuk, 'Fate' in the old tongue. While the student performed his duties throughout the Galaxy the Master would wait. He would wait until his pupil returned ready for the trials of ascension. Only one Iruuk would survive.

The young Acolyte now travels as the new Iruuk, learning from others within his Order until he returns to seal the mantle through his Masters (or his own) death.


PERSONALITY

The newest mantle of the name Iruuk struggles with the weight of his duties, and takes little pleasure in its execution. Like many his age he questions the reason for his existence and the necessity of performing the tasks imposed on his life, more so after his successes. Due to the nature of his mandate and the isolation which usually accompanies it, Iruuk has taken to befriending and somewhat relying on his small droid retinue, treating them akin to family as one would to a pet. Amidst his own internal conflict for the balance of life and death, he finds solitude in the company of 'lifeless' forms with their own personalities. It is commonplace he finds moral counsel in their words and their neutral programming. His droids are the few he truly trusts in the Galaxy.

While performing his duties Iruuk reluctantly adopts the mantle of death as he reaps the lives necessary in the great cycle, but he is prone to moments of guilt and regret when he slays his target. Its for this reason he aims to choose those who have stagnated in life. Drug addicts, Murderers, Slavers. But there are those who attract him despite his intentions and he reluctantly obeys. Despite his doubts on his actions in life he rarely falters from the path. Although a mere Acolyte, a drop in the darkside, he understands his Lineages importance and their role.

DESCRIPTION
Sith swords were constructed through various metallurgical and arcane means, transmuting base metals into an alchemical alloy possessing an unusual affinity for dark side energies. The rare metallic compounds used in its construction could result in blades varying in weight from 3 kilograms up to 6.5 kilograms, a blade far heavier than its length would indicate. It often required great strength of body as well as in the Force to successfully wield the weapon and make it as dangerous as a lightsaber. In fact, the alchemical alterations allowed the Sith sword to block incoming lightsaber attacks, as well as deflect and absorb blaster bolts in much the same way a lightsaber did.

A user skilled in the dark side could alter the weapon's molecular structure, making it stronger and sharper, and reverse its magnetic polarity, turning it into a high-temperature superconductor that could absorb blaster bolts and other particle weapons as if magnetically sealed. The rare ores used in its construction resisted lightsabers in much the same manner as cortosis and Phrik alloy, while its polished surface reflected laser beams and other coherent light weapons like a mirror

DESCRIPTION
Designed and put into production a few years after the end of the Clone Wars and the formation of the Galactic Empire, Corellian Engineering Corporation sought to create a smaller-scale version of their venerable YT-series of freighters, which were beginning to show their age. Applying lessons learned over the decades, the design team for the Y2K-series strove to design a courier-vessel, opting to skimp on the frills and focus on functionality.

Unfortunately, not unlike Kuat Systems Engineering's much-maligned S40K Phoenix Hawk-class Light Pinnace, the Y2K-class crew compartments were considered cramped even though it was spacious in terms of cargo hold. While most independent freighter pilots aren't overly concerned with having luxury accommodations, the Y2K-series' crew berths were certainly not a major selling point. What the Y2K-series did have was a high-performance ion drive that was reliable and needed far less maintenance than similar models, and while the hypedrive is not exceptional it too is very reliable. Instead of the more typical single laser cannon that ships of the YT-series featured, the Y2K-series comes standard with a twin blaster cannon, allowing it to more easily pass the Empire's increasingly strict weapon restrictions. The Y2K-series is surprisingly robust and nimble for a ship of it's size; a Y2K-series freighter won't be doing loops around your typical starfighter, but it won't be easy prey for raiders and pirates either. Unfortunately, even CEC's long reputation of easily modifiable craft couldn't overcome the ship's reduced size, and the Y2K-series isn't nearly as welcoming of modifications as many other CEC designs.

Unfortunately, CEC's core market weren't overly interested in what amounted to a cramped courier vessel, even at the deeply-discounted price the ship was being sold at, and production ceased after only a couple years. While replacement parts for this specific make of freighter are becoming increasingly scarce, the Y2K-series is surprisingly accepting of parts and components made for the YT-series, allowing this small and largely overlooked ship design to continue to operate and even thrive long after CEC had forgotten about it and moved on to other, more profitable ship designs.

Legal. Light freighters such as the YT-2600 are considered innocuous enough under most jurisdictions, and are not restricted in most systems.

Old and not particularly popular, Y2Ks are rarely seen throughout the galaxy, but otherwise attainable.

IRUUKS SITH SWORD
A Sith Sword forged through Alchemy under the supervision of his Master. It largely consists of obsidian for an improved cutting edge and dursteel for its resilience infused with cortosis along the edge. The weapon is almost twice as heavy as its size dictates, a bi-product of the Alchemy process, attributing it more power through the weights force. Lastly Iruuks Sith Sword is created with the shard of a kyber crystal in its core, allowing the wielders essence to resonate with the weapon. The cystal absorbs the users darkside energies and grants it an amplified durability. Iruuk is also capable of channeling the force into the weapon, heating its blade through pyrokinetics to enhance its edge and cutting potential.

Renneks history has, and always will be, the Jedi. He has vague memories of life before the Order, an orphan boy seeking his next meal. Scavenging was the first option, theft was the last. A many orphan child had their stomachs kicked in or even broken bones from being caught red handed. Unlike many who were destined to stagnate and rot on this Planets industrial surface, Renneks sensitivity had been discovered by a Watchman, a Jedi who protects a certain section of the Galaxy and keeps a watchful eye on those with potential in the Force. As per Master Reys founding instruction, no child was to be forcefully taken from their Parents and institutionalized within the Orders walls, instead they were accepted when they were ready to take the first step. It was a stark contrast to the Jedi Order of old. Master Rey Skywalkers instructions weren't without their exceptions however, and as an orphan he was brought into the Academy and put through the proper channels.

Renneks potency in the Force was less than average when he was first 'adopted' by the Jedi Order, and like many his age he was taught the very basic fundamentals of life and the light side of the Force. He possessed many tutors as younglings migrated from teacher to teacher, sometimes traveling Knights would return with stories of distance Planets and species so vastly different than what a 8 year old boy could imagine. There was one Knight who he hadn't seen in awhile. The one who 'rescued' him from his life of struggle and poverty. The encounter and their time traveling had been so very brief, he'd almost forgotten what she looked like. He did remember feeling perfectly safe for the first time in forever.

His role as a Padawan was shared with 2 others to the same Knight. The influx of initiates both young and seasoned flocked to the Academy, sometimes in numbers that exceeded experienced Jedi. To balance the distribution of knowledge and growth SOME were grouped together under a single Master. Renneks time under his tutelage was enjoyable and their numbers meant company was always about. His retinue often spent their time within the Orders premises and traveled where their services were required. As part of their new mandate they often served as mediators, ensuring transactions were done peacefully. Though at times they were required to resort to aggressive negotiations.
The first 5 years as one Padawan of 3 were some of the happiest memories he had. They were almost a family, a Teacher with an infinite patience who served as Parent, and 2 siblings. With the reorganizing of the Jedis view on emotion and attachment such relationships were no longer frowned upon. Thats not to say they were adopted as openly. But as youths grow older, hormones begin to stir and a natural competitive instinct swells in the breast and loin of young men. Now in their teenage years the two males of the trio attempt to outdo each other at every go. Every training exercise becomes a race, each spar transforms into a duel that almost ends with a training saber lodged in flesh. The two old Padawans are naturally scorned by their Master, and genuinely they feel remorse for their actions. But boys are boys.

Rennek was the second of the trio to be promoted to Knight and upon his Knighthood he saw a familiar face. Although she had aged a few decades and her once lustful skin was riddled with marks, he recognized her as the Jedi who uplifted him from his poverty. She too recognized his signature in the Force. Although he was a newly appointed Jedi Knight with the right to travel alone, after learning of his saviors retirement from being a Watchman he chose to emerse himself in a lesser form of apprenticeship where he would instead learn of her former role to replace her.

He spends the next 3 decades understanding and executing his role as a Jedi Watchman....

DESCRIPTION
This is Renneks third lightsaber and has vast differences from his first two hilts. As his combat style has evolved, so has his choice of weapon and the way he uses it. His more recent design draws inspirations from the Orders more archaic roots, and has incorporated his own twist in the traditional crossguard variant of lightsabers. Instead of relying on vents of energy to act as guards, he has reshaped the hilt itself, incorporating traces of cortosis to increase its resistance. Its overall design is rather dull,

Renneks Watchman Armor

A six piece suit of armor put together over his years as a Watchman of various sectors. The chest piece covers his upper torso and back, both upper and lowers arms are protected by segmented gauntlets and shoulder guards. Finally the helmet completes the piece. Before it belonged to its current wearer it was a full head to toe suit. The lower half was sold off to an unknown smith in trade for small modifications. Though traditionally not worn by Jedi old and new, his duty as a Watchman warranted more protection over the rising threat. As hes aged Rennek has lost his youthful spring and accompanying stamina so relies on armor to shield his shortcomings.

This particular YD unit has a long service history dating back to when the series was first produced after the First Orders defeat. However as it has had numerous memory wipes, a service record cannot be verified. Before its initiation into the Sector Rangers it belonged to a low level criminal as a personal security droid. When its owner was raided by the local authorities the droid dispatched the invaders, though it took critical damage in its Masters defense. The arrival of the Sectors Ranger sealed both the criminal and his droids fate, the former being captured and processed through the Planets justice system while the latter was incapacitated and possessed as evidence.

YD-313's restraining bolt was unlocked and its memory was downloaded as evidence for trial. It was due to be dispatched but a Ranger within the organization purchased it with the intention of using it to aid her in her fight for justice. As an untitled yet official partner YD-313 assisted in patrolling the Arkanis Sector, famously inhabited by systems such as Geonosis, Tatoo and Arkanis. For over a decade the duo spent the large majority of their time on Tatooine and Arkanis, hunting down smugglers to slavers and working alongside local authorities to bring small time criminals to justice. But their success attracted unwanted attention within the criminal world and the Ranger found herself with a sizeable bounty on her head. In the Arkanis sector, and the many undesirables that inhabited it, the Rangers death was inevitable and in her defense YD-313 was partially destroyed. Others within the organization recovered the droids pieces and their colleagues body. Again YD was destined for the scrap yards, its repair bill too high for the Force to justify when it could simply procure a new, more efficient droid. And again its fate was redirected as another Ranger saw to its repair.

Upon activation it murmured its partners name, only to be advised of her demise. As a droid its process was swift and unlike organics it wasn't prone to emotional outbreaks or oaths of revenge. Instead it returned to HQ and requested its former partners weapons and ship, along with permission to continue patrolling its sector.


PERSONALITY

STANDARD PROGRAMMING [active]- YD-313 follows its programming and is capable of interacting with organics as well as interfacing with androids. The Sector Rangers have seen fit to keep his social program standard and thus has not encountered enough glitches or software issues to develop a personality.

LIFE ON BOTHAN - Husk was born and bred on his native Planet of Bothawui, belonging to the Kra family which aligned with the Ul Clan. As a young Bothan he was expected to participate in his Clans plans for political uprising in hopes of establishing a stronger foothold in the City of Fey'Starn. His upbringing was surprisingly normal by his kinds standard and he was trained in many of the subtle arts which made the Bothan infamous across the Galaxy. Information gathering, hacking, subterfuge and manipulation were some of the many talents he was nurtured in with hopes that these skills would help elevate the Kra family, and the Ul Clan, to greater heights. Suffice to say Husk was directly involved in various plots to overthrow local governments, blackmailing officials with the information he sliced or gathered or publicly airing their dirty laundry in order to destabilize their sway on the local citizens.

By the time he had reached his mid twenties Husk had assisted in upbringing his clan to a higher political office which laid the foundations for greater plans of expansion, but like all those that quickly rose to power they were brought into a more undesirable light. Much like the Ul Clan had done to its opposition, another clan with equal (if not greater) ambition had begun a campaign to cut the legs from under them. Though instead of political smears and the spread of concealed information they sought more effective means to gain power. Assassination was an unspoken event that occurred in Bothan, more than any native cared to admit. The rising Ul Clan were of no exception, and the subtle displacement of its members stirred a silent conflict within the major Bothawui City. Suffice to say the Ul Clan was on the losing end of the battle and Husk was forced to flee his home Planet.

ZAA FENN FAMILY - The Bothan fled to the Outer Rim Planet of Eriadu where he would scrape his living doing what he was trained to do. Small time criminal elements were present and Husk found work among its ranks offering his unique talents and services. It was these actions that attracted the attention of the Zaa Fenn Crime Family, one of the many who filled the ranks of the Crymorah Syndicate. As many did with these types of organizations he begun his ascent from the very bottom but his training and years of service saw him officially adopted, the Bothan changing his name to Husk Kra'Zaa Fenn. Like he was to the Ul Clan, he bound himself completely to the Family and pledged a devoted loyalty to the head of the Clan, whomever they may be.

As an older man Husk is often patient in all things he does, and understands that good things take time. His loyalty to his Syndicate, more specifically the Zaa Fenn Family, is unwavering and executes his orders with little question. The Bothan is considered approachable and despite his background and occupation he is quite friendly. From time to time he enjoys the smaller things in life, a beverage with his comrades or a meaningful discussion with an intelligent stranger. As hes gotten older his aptitude for combat has diminished, his aggressive spark which propelled him into the Crime Syndicate now dulled by age. This is not to say he wont unload a bolt into someones chest. He simply chooses to express other avenues first. [/JUSTIFY]

Husks Scoundrel Attire

A 3 piece light armor consisting of helmet, torso and back cover. This is custom designed by taking parts off preexisting armors and mashing them up to suit Husks needs. The attire is light enough to be worn with minimal hindrance for his age and his helmet is equipped with various functions that serve him in his illicit activities, providing zoomed capabilities, breather filter and vision modes to accommodate changes in ambient light. The torso and back armor are of common design and contain nothing special in terms of armor.

PERSONALITY

Sister Ku'uris main goal in within the Order to reestablish the former glory of the Witches of Dathomir, more specifically the Nightsisters. She is usually quiet, preferring the study various holocons and ancient datapads relating to the dark side but will engage with her 'comrades' if prompted. Despite her alignment with the Eternal and his Sith Order she holds no dominion over the lust of domination or conquer, and equally cares little for the organizations expansion within the Galaxy. As a purveyor of knowledge and secrets she finds herself naturally attracted to the ancient art of Sith Alchemy, finding the rituals and bindings more similar to the Dathomir magic practiced by her kin.

Her views on the Force are inconsequential and finds little comfort in the balance preached by the Jedi and Sith alike. Her cares are only for the advancement of her kind and she is willing to align herself with whoever can assist in her goals.

Within the Sith Order she has established herself as a practitioner of ancient magic, preferring its execution over the use of the conventional force abilities displayed by her colleagues within the Order. Vaeco is the adopted descendant of one of the five Verdgoran who fled to the outskirts of the Galaxy during the Great Purge. As Vulfur traditions dictate, his clansman and kin were instructed in the art of craft and war, bringing honor to their House through service. Like many Mandalorians after the dark age of the Purge, the covert his ancestors served were consistently on the move for fears of becoming completely eradicated, and their Clan names lost forever. During his 'Grandfathers' reign as Forge Master the group were discovered an consequently wiped out. Unfortunately this was a fate shared by many. Only a handful of individuals including the Smith survived, scattering to the corners of the sector and beyond.

The next person to take the Vulfur mantle was the Smiths biological daughter, who was trained as a traditional Verdgoran. By the time she came of age she and her Father found refuge with another covert in the Western sector of the Galaxy, applying their craft to better equip their warriors and repair damages sustained while out of hiding. Years passed before she'd adopt her Foundling, long before her ascension to Forge Master. Like many Foundlings, Vaeco had no living Family. Per Mandolorian custom the Verdgoran adopted the Near Human as one of her own, teaching him her Families unique ways of both warrior and artisan.

During his upbringing he was instructed primarily in the art of the forge, and the many applications it possessed in their lives. From durasteel to plastoid Vaeco was taught, and expected to remember, the strengths and weaknesses of numerous materials. The wisdom passed to him was the culmination of generations of trial and error with each Smith recording their success and failures through traditional practices. This trial was to prepare him for the unique molding properties of beskar, and how to properly forge the metal. He was also versed in war. Alongside the practice of the craft he was taught the ways of combat, and like the many Mandalorians before him he excelled in its application.

He was deemed ready to join the ranks of the Creed after his sixteenth year, no longer a foundling but a member of the Creed. He'd endured trials on two different fronts, one of the hammer, the other of the sword. He'd taken the first steps to becoming a Verdgoran but like every apprentice he had much to learn. The following year and a half was spent under the tutelage of his Mother who helped hone his skill while using the extra pair of hands to upkeep the groups equipment. Due to the rarity of beskar, the quality of tools and weapons Vaeco and the Forge Master, his Tutor and Parent, sought alternative materials to forge. This need for innovation branched their crafting style differently to the traditional methods of the Vulfur Clan. Vaeco personally found an aptitude to the maintenance and repair of equipment, though he dabbled in fabrication.

Once his tutelage was deemed complete he was given a gift of beskar ore, melted down from the excess of his Grandfathers armor. He was to depart the covert on her wishes and expand his worldly experiences. She was convinced his abilities would grow stagnant if he remained under her tuition for the coming years. She and her Father and her Fathers Father had experienced similar periods of growth through this unofficial tradition so in turn she extended the same courtesy. With the rarity of beskar after the Great Purge he was given enough to craft a few items of armor, but not a full suit. He would have to apply his innovative style to mitigate the lack of materials. Completion was the first step of his life outside the Concave and its protection.

Vaeco Vulfur is highly loyal to his Clan and the Mandalorian culture which adopted him. As an orphan and a product of strife, he is immensely grateful for his upbringing, and strives to honor the traditions instilled by his 'Mother' and late 'Grandfather'. He has committed himself to Clan Vulfurs practice of 'Vergoran', or Warrior Smith, ensuring his skills with a blaster is matched only by the skill of his craft. Vaecos current promotion within the Creed has elevated his sense of purpose but his eagerness is often misplaced. His wish is to bring honor to House Vulfur, though his actions and his trade.

As a member of a Covert he has spent the majority of his life on the move and in seclusion, keeping his identity a secret for the safety of the Creed. This has led him to adopt a kinship with his Utility Droid, despite its programmed existence and he is often seen in conversation during his craft. Although Vaeco is young and barely reached manhood, his recollection of his Mandalorian heritage and military history is astute. Stories of glory and battle were his lullabies and since childhood he has dreamed of partaking in related events.

Vaecos' Incomplete Beskar

LEGALITY

Mandalorian armor, though rare, is not illegal in most places. That said, wearing a full-face helmet in public spaces is frowned upon and often illegal in many core worlds, especially in or near government facilities - not to mention that many identification cards in various systems require a full face photo. However, Vaeco was not raised as an adherent of the zealous Children of the Watch creed and is willing to remove his helmet in most social scenarios.

INTENT


Mandalorians are as much defined by the armor as their personality, considering it’s a central aspect of their culture. Thus the incomplete Beskar is a symbol of Vaecos journey from a Foundling to becoming a fully fledged Mandalorian.

Type and Coverage

Type: Light Armor

Coverage:
  • Head: Full-coverage alloyed beskar helmet with transparisteel half T-visor, capped with a flared plate. Neck is protected by an alloyed beskar gorget
  • Lower Arms: Mandalorian vambraces crafted from alloyed beskar over leather insulated with fur. Under glove extends from forearm to fingertip.
  • Lower Legs: Hard leathered high boots plated with durasteel over the shin, toe and foot. Reinforced and fitted with jump/jet boots

Functions


Function 1: Thermal Undersuit
  • Thermal undersuits wick away or reflect thermal energy for brief periods of time. They are not nearly as effective as a suit that firefighters would wear. Most commonly used to protect soldiers from flamethrower weapons or short bursts of extreme heat or cold, and are only good for 1-2 posts of exposure depending on intensity. They are useless against blasters.
Function 2: Cape Armorweave
  • Most often in the form of a heavy cape, skirt, or underlay beneath armor, armor weave provides some protection against the penetrating effects of shrapnel from explosives and other unpowered high velocity impacts, with only a small amount of bleed through damage (bruising or very minor wounds). It offers no protection against kinetic impact or energy, vibroweapons, or similar "powered" weapons. Having more than one accessory (example: Cape + underweave) provides no additional effect.
Function 3: Wrist Blaster - Right Gauntlet
  • This weapon does the damage of a medium blaster, but is mounted on the forearm. With limited ammunition (10 shots) and range (15m), it isn't a substitute for carrying a blaster, but it is certainly very useful as a backup or ambush weapon in close quarters. The weapon must be manually activated via button or other trigger.
Function 4: Repulsor - Left Gauntlet
  • Originally designed to counter combat with force sensitives, this tool is able to project a strong repulsor field replicating a Force push. It projects up 10 meters and its limited power cell only allows for 3 uses before it needed changing. The repulsor has significant recoil and the wielder must carefully brace themselves before use- both to ensure accuracy and to prevent the user from being knocked over themselves or having their arm torn from its socket.
Function 5: Jet Boots
  • Miniaturized jetpack technology, jetboots (also called "rocket boots") are essentially boots to which small jetpack thrusters have been attached. The wearer must activate/deactivate the thrusters modes via wrist-mounted controls. Like an average jetpack, jetboots permit a maximum speed of 35kph and can maintain this speed for two minutes of continuous flight (flight mode). In combat (mode), they can be used in short bursts to propel the wearer up to seven (7) meters. Jet boots are much smaller, lighter, and less vulnerable to attack and damage than jetpacks, but are also very difficult to utilize effectively, and wearers can be easily thrown off course.
