DESCRIPTION​

A very niche weapon. The M3 stun pistol, nicknamed the "Pig's Delight" by gangsters and criminals, was a stun pistol developed half a century ago by the well known company, Merr-Sonn Munitions Incorporated. What made it entirely unique was the fact that it exclusively fired stun bolts that could drop even heavily armoured targets. Its shots could also temporarily shut down all manner of droids, making it a very desirable non-lethal weapon.

It was a favourite of law enforcement agencies that wanted something stronger than the well known S-40 when dealing with tougher targets or even heavy droids. It came standard with a 1-4x adjustable telescopic sight that could be removed if the user preferred the iron sights. It also had attachment points for when the user wanted to add some mods to it for further versatility.

Unfortunately the weapon had several drawbacks compared to its competitor. Its range was significantly reduced along with its ammo capacity in favour of a higher stun output. It also was easy to modify into a heavy blaster, which sacrificed its stun and EMP capability in favour of a much more lethal punch. It was also a lot bigger to allow for the better stun damage, though the size significantly aided in the recoil of the weapon, making it very smooth and easy to shoot with. But when illegally modded, the smooth shooting was also traded out, making it quite uncomfortable to use.

LEGALITY​

Legal. Since it's exclusively non-lethal, there are very little restrictions on the weapon. However, modding it to use lethal rounds was highly illegal.
