George Miller is set to return to direct the fourth Mad Max film for next Summer. Looks good I think.

So far, I am hearing good things about this film. Anyone going to be seeing it or interested?

I'm excited for it. Looks fantastic.

On a hilarious, incomprehensible side-note; an MRA 'group' has been up-in-arms about the film. They've labelled the film as, get this, blatant feminist propaganda. Take a moment to let that sink in. Charlize Theron's character Furiosa is at the center of much of their outrage and I cannot begin to understand their logic.

Here's the hilarious article calling for all "real men and women" to boycott Fury Road: http://www.donotlink.com/framed?704311

My favourite part of the article:

It’s whether men in America and around the world are going to be duped by explosions, fire tornadoes, and desert raiders into seeing what is guaranteed to be nothing more than feminist propaganda, while at the same time being insulted AND tricked into viewing a piece of American culture ruined and rewritten right in front of their very eyes.

Mad Max is quintessential AUSTRALIAN cinema.

I saw that article, and did my best to ignore it because of the sheer stupidity of it.

Mel Gibson irks me, but the original film wasn't bad. Both Theron and Hardy are very good actors in my book, so I do think I will be watching.

Yeah...hopefully they won't destroy the...rich, well developed Mad Max mythos and backstory...heaven forbid.

I actually just got home from seeing the film. It was absolutely superb. The camera work was amazing, acting was on point, the fight scenes were very well choreographed. I really have no gripes about it.

Longest, loudest, most insane car chase I ever saw, but HOLY CRAP was this movie great. Outstanding film, and worthy of being a Mad Max film.

Seriously, this film was LOUD.

Mad Max Fury Road might be one of the best films of the year so far. It's beautiful, it's subversive. And it kicks all kinds of ass.

Eh. Some vaguely interesting (if repackaged) ideas overcooked in interminable car chases -- which is, granted Mad Maxian-- but at least the original had an undercurrent of menace through the whole thing. Not terrible enough to merit outrage, but not good enough to merit plaudits. Some fun scenes though and the cast was likable. Probably wait for it on DVD though unless you want to see it in on the big screen.

One day Pros might actually like a movie, especially one receiving universal praise. And on that day, I will say "Oh what a day. What a LOVELY day!"

The spirit of Man
Resembles water:
Coming from heaven,
Rising to heaven,
And hither and thither,
To Earth must then
Ever descend.

I see quattro you did fiere :31:

Any case this movie was balls to the walls insane. A great mad max movie, a great movie and a great piece of art.

As for those calling it feminist propergander. Charlie's Theron is a South African farm girl. She automatically has more balls than those internet warriors.

This was the first movie I saw in 3D. It made my eyes hurt. But I liked it.

Fun fact, Incase some peeps didn't know. About 90% of this film was non CGI, including that badass guitar flamethrower. This was seriously an insane and impressive film. I was also surprised and happy that late Waste lander Lance Allen Moore II was credited near the end of the film. So awesome.
