Making Some Space
A rogue band of pirates from the Kowakian Devil fleet have crated a large encampment on Hypori. The land is a prime piece of real estate for our base of operations. Do whatever you must to make them leave, kill every last one or negotiate. As long as that land gets cleared off, it doesn't matter. 2-4 Player Characters, Self DMed.
1. @Grace Zann
2. @Tyr'din Selm
3.
4.

Hypori | 1200 Hours
Grace's Skipray Blast boat entered the atmosphere of Hypori with little difficulty. The planet was a humid place for the most part, and had been uninhabited by sentient settlements for years. Their business venture there would be the first real attempt at colonization. Doing so however required real estate, and that what she and Tyr'din were there to gain. From what the informants told her, a rogue band from the kowakian devil fleet had established a large pirate haven an an excellent piece of land.

The sun was quite high as the reached ever closer to the surface, but there was a light mist that shrouded some of the grounds. Grace would look out the window of her ship to see an area filled with various tents, small star fighters, and landspeeders. The place was an open-air pirate base alright, it even had a decently large landing strip.

The woman would begin flipping switches on her personal gunship, slowing the descent of her vessel. She would speak to Tyr'din from across the room. "We're getting pretty close to the pirate base our scout was talking about. There are a lot of ways this could go down, so I'll leave it to your decision. Should we be direct and land near their ships, or land some distance away? Then, should we be diplomatic, or go guns blazing?"

Another Job, another Day, he was getting used to flying alogn in this ship by now and infact had found one of his favourite spots to sit in it, well... two favourite spots, he rarely sat right next to Grace, that felt awkward, too personal and he wasn't always sure if that would give her the wrong ideas.

As he gazed down at the newly painted Helmet he held in his hands he let out a brief sigh, this was going to be a interesting venture that was for sure one that could mean he gets to break in his new gear or simply look good in it, both options being as enticing as the other.

"You should know the way I tick by now, Zann. You puzzle me at times still but if it can be avoided id prefer not getting you hurt."

He inverted the Helmet in his hands and rubbed a gloved hand along the Transparisteel Visor, he felt heavier, heavier than usual and he had to get used to that, but at the same time this came with the need to be a constant protection detail, albeit with her own Privacy, nodding to himself he slid the Helmet on his head tapping it into place as he did, adjusting to the limited field of view would take training and experience but instinctual shooting should be no problem.

"Besides, we are not alone this time around so should things turn ugly, well, I wouldn't want to be the one pissing him off."

He seemed to be speaking directly about someone else that had joined them for this effort, whilst it was the first time for Tyr'din seeing Rafe which left many questions he also heeded Grace vouching for the large Wolf-like Man.

Going over his gear a final time he made sure his Blaster Pistol was charged and loaded, grabbed three more spare packs for it aswell as two for his Rifle which he slung over his shoulder right next to the Jetpack, the weight of which made him sway for a moment as he adjusted in the flying ship, frankly enough he couldn't wait for a chance to finally get to use that in action.

"Run us a final briefing." His voice now crackled through the Helmet making it sound hollow yet also slightly higher.

Rafe sat on @Grace Zann's ship, it was high time he repaid her for the work she'd put in for him.. with something other than credits that is.. Finally the Zann Consortium was making moves, Rafe respected the woman, and had been looking forward to this for some time.

The other man, @Tyr'din Selm, a human male with the most red eyes he'd ever seen, Rafe had to fight hard against his own mandalorian roots not to ask where he'd gotten the armour, in non human species such as Rafe it was difficult to tell, but in humans.. it was easy to see who wasn't in fact Mandalorian..

Rafe was very relaxed, this mission should be cake, as such he had a death stick in his claw, having just taken a long drag he responded, It's up to you... but I'd kill them all.. he said calmly, as if he often took that same stance on such subjects.. probably because he did..

After the red eyed man responded Rafe laughed once, before taking another drag off his death stick. Whatever your decision, we'll follow your lead.. Rafe said, speaking for the man that sat on the other side of the cockpit.

Grace would listen to both ideas, each having a differing perspective. That was fine, what they needed in fact, options. Convincing the pirates to leave would be hard, but it would give them an excuse to get into close range if they wanted to fight things out. As it stood, that may have been the best option at the moment... "Alright. I say we get in close, try to have a word with them, and then if they refuse our offer we'll massacre them all."

The skipray blast boat would begin getting low, eventually touching the ground just outside the encampment. She would spot a small group of five pirates with blaster pistols approaching them, and would step out herself in turn.

"Greetings men. I am Grace Zann, I've come--" One of the pirates would cut her off, "--Yeah yeah yeah. You're here to pay us tribute to leave your home planet alone? Is that it?"

She would then look over to @Tyr'din Selm for a moment, knowing this wouldn't end well. Thankfully, they would be far from the rest of the pirates. "Well, were are the credits?" One would ask indignantly.

"Here are your credits!" The woman would shout, grabbing the hilt of her lightsaber and pressing the object to the nearest pirate's chest. The Yellow blade would then ignite, immediately impaling him.

Tyr'din had strode along Grace giving Rafe a knowing look, even if it was an attempt that Grace would pull he already smelled that this was going to go ugly either way, and surely enough... Grace wasted no time to blow what cover they had, and surely enough her strike found footing as all that could be heard shortly afterwards was pained groaning followed by said Pirate falling over almost into her.

"So much for subtlety yes?"

<"Oy! Kill em!">

And sure enough... the rest of the Pirates didn't like what she had just done, watching their dead comrade collapse each of them leveled their blaster pistols before breaking out into different directions each scattering about in response to this rather... abrupt violent action and as was his job Tyr'din resurfaced not a inch short from Grace's left side his frame partially interposing like a human shield with his Blaster Pistol drawn, urging her with his back to get a move on as he fired away.

"If we are doing this, we ought to get our momentum, we are not exactly on friendly territory."

He retorted inbetween his first shot which was completely off target, he was getting used to his peripheral vision being imposed upon by the helmet and whilst he cursed under his breath for showing such poor accuracy on his first shot he made up for it with his next which he delivered after whipping his wrist from left to right in a almost instinctual precise shift of his body weight before firing.

Sure enough his target keeled over with a large hole in its shoulder yet they still had contenders and these weren't even the main bulk of the Pirates yet, his eyes locked onto two more targets which he aimed to persue he was slowly entering a zone and in this zone his focus grew.

Rafe had spotted @Tyr'din Selm look at him, but was confused as to the context, then suddenly @Grace Zann responded to the pirate's chastising with what Rafe thought was a bit of a comical response before she ignited that fhtagn laser sword that Rafe liked so much. This gave him a start, he thought she was gonna try to talk things out.. Rafe laughed after she did it, and at @Tyr'din Selm's immediate comment, that was until the first blaster was fired..

Rafe's jet pack flamed to life and he ascended into the air, simultaneously drawing both of his Peacemakers and placing some eight well placed shots, four from each, resulting in the dropping of seven bodies. As he cut the jet pack off, he holstered his pistols, and dropped beside another one, his left claw coming down hard on the man's arm, sending the blaster rifle it held to the ground hard, and wrapping his right claw around the man's neck.

Looking over Rafe saw the two humans huddling together as the incoming fire rained in, one heavy bolt crashed into the back of the head of the man Rafe held in his claw, he felt the heat of it on his index finger, and released the body which hit the ground a minute later. Rafe looked forward and saw more than two dozen of the enemy targets behind various covers with rifles out.

Oh boy, all hell had broken loose as she eliminate the pirate in front of her. Thankfully, Rafe had already leaped into action by killing the other guards that stood near the first. Of course, all the shouting and blaster fire drew the attention of many others in the area. It wouldn't be long before their crew had a full fire fight on their hands.

Grace herself would take cover behind a pile of metal crates. As she did this however Rafe would be hard at work blasting openly while a large number of pirates took cover behind various objects. Several stood behind crates, while others crouched below large sacks of stolen food.

Approaching them with her lightsaber drawn would prove difficult, but the woman had a trick that might just help... Peering above her defensive position, Grace would focus intensely as she waved her arm with the force. As she did, a huge gust of powerful wind would sweep across the pirates' positions. many would either be forcibly blown out of their hiding spots, or the structures they were hiding behind would be blown away by the wind... The power would leave Grace feeling quite drained, but all their foes would be exposed from cover.

"Tyr'din now!" She would shout.

Raanil struggled to keep his spaceship on course. He was awful pilot, no two ways about it; he could blame it on his missing eye, but truth was he hadn't any feel for the vessel movement.
Fortunately D3-Z1 was an astounding co-pilot and managed to put a lid on most of his master's errors. Most.
The little astro-mech skittered on his three legs all across the cockpit and in the vents, dodging sparks and flying cables with incredible agility.

Raanil had not seen Grace since Ryloth. After that he have had enough of grand plans and high stakes: he figured he could lay low and take some minor jobs, helped by his renewed reputation. Of course, the chiss had not considered the hutts would still not accept him in their entourage of muscles. Having served under another syindicate flag was not necessarily appreciated in the business.
So, when Grace reached to him for a new step in her master plan, Raanil was desperate enough to accept.
Besides, the girl paid well.

The merc checked the coordinates again, to make sure this was the right planet.
Hypori looked like a barren wasteland, punctuated with shipwrecks from different eras. What the Zann Consortium could gain from such a place was beyond Raanil. She mentioned pirates hideouts, but what was the point in taking over piracy business?
The consortium could already count on dozen, more profitable ventures, not least disruptor manufacturing.
Plus, who the fark was so gullible to fall prey of pirates?
An ion missile hit the firespray's engines.
The impact shook the ship, causing Raanil to bump his head on the consolle and D3 to scream, terrorized.
Holding his bleeding forehead, the chiss realized the shot came from the surface of the planet, where, now he could see it, in the shadow of the giant shipwrecks pirate camps were hidden.
And, unfortunately, he would soon have the opportunity to inspect said camps much much closely, given the speed the firespray was approaching the ground.
Raanil hoped Grace was close enough to notice the soon-to-be wreckage.

Tyr'din looked to Grace if only for the briefest of moments, he knew what he had to do, tapping the side of his helmet his Helmet's HUD switched to thermals and as soon as that whirred to life he had a idea to draw their attention, it was time to see if he was Man enough for his Gear.

"Keep your head down."

Clearing his mind briefly before then the Jetpack on his back ignited and within a moments notice he shot up and diagonally to the side leaving behind a vapor trail alongside the sound of someone ascending, just that alone drew more than just a few eyes yet he was a fast moving target and therefore hard to hit it was only when he zipped over Rafe that he angled himself into a brief hover, it was his immediete right and left that crowds began pouring in and whilst he wasn't a Mandalorian he handled himself surprisingly well.

Holding his left wrist out he eyeballed his next move before then committing to it, pressing a button on the Vambrace sent a wrist rocket flying with a long vapor trail behind it, and before long both Rafe and Grace could see it hit bullseye in the nearest crowd of Pirates where it unleashed all hell once it detonated, fragmentation, flying bodies and terrified yelps, not every Pirate was in it to be eviscerated, for having picked up that Gear just recently he was adapting to it as if he was born into it.

"I need more of those..."

He muttered to himself but his quiet Hover was soon disturbed as a Blaster shot whizzed past his Helmet pulling him back into action, he knew he couldn't stay in the Air with the attention he drew now, looking beneath him... well, there was tent that was still midly intact so he disengaged the thrust of his Jetpack and let himself fall like a rock, and like a rock he indeed fell ripping through the fabric before then dissapearing inside said tent, though his blaster could be heard firing inside which suggested he was fine.

A perfect opportunity to strike for both Grace, Rafe and their Backup as a noticeable crowd diverted their attention on what they assumed to be a Mandalorian whilst others that were already engaged with Rafe loosened a poorly aimed volley at him, they were pirates... aiming wasn't their strong suit.

Rafe wouldn't have seen @Tyr'din Selm ascend into the air, he'd been caught in the open, though he was given a brief reprieve by @Grace Zann's space magic, as quick as any professional gun slinger, Rafe whipped his Peacemaker, and his Wookiee Side-Arm in several directions firing out more than a two dozen shots, downing eighteen targets.. however it wasn't enough, Rafe's armour was strong, enhanced with two segments of Beskar, his vambraces, and his shin guards.. even this would not be enough as a barrage of blaster fire, covering all three of the normal classifications, light, medium, and heavy found a home in several parts of his armour, he'd taken some thirty bolts to his location, not all hit, but enough did..

The segmented durasteel plating, and even the bantha hide underneath was shredded, burned, and shattered, his durasteel greaves and kneepads met the same fate, even his duraplast helmet had been struck by a light bolt, the HUD blinked but stayed online. Just one medium bolt had found a home on Rafe's skin, his lower left abdomen took a hit, burning his fur and leaving a singe in his skin that stung like a bantha kriffing jedi slut.

There were no pirates left where Grace had brushed the cover away, but a dozen or so were using a gutted and rusted Repulsor Scout as heavy cover and firing out at them, most Rafe.

Rafe's jetpack was still functional, and he used it to go airborn and with a back flip barrel roll maneuver he got himself down behind the heavy metal crates where Grace was covering. Sitting down and resting against the metal crate. There's a lot of them.. Rafe said before he groaned.

Grace had no idea that Raanil would be showing up to this job, and therefore never expected his firespray to be falling out of the sky. She doubted that she could stop the ship from crashing, especially due to how much power she had expunged so far. But there was a chance the falling mercenary would be able to save them all...

Rafe would take cover next to her, explaining that they were being out gunned. The woman would give him a devilish grin, "I have an idea! But if I fall unconscious for a tic, don't be surprised..."

She would stand up from behind the crates, and quickly look to Raanil's falling Firespray. Mustering every last drop of willpower she had, the woman would produce the strongest gust of wind she had ever managed before. A blast of air would modify the direction the ship was falling, causing Raanil's vessel to begin skirting across the ground as he impacted, and sent the entire ship crashing directly through the pirate's 'heavy cover'.

The ship didn't look to be in very good condition after that one, but it helped take down a few pirates while also breaking the mercenary's fall...

Grace herself would fall back against the crates for a moment. Her eyes were closed as if she had fainted from such intense concentration.

(OOC: @Tenia If you would prefer me edit and not do that to your ship, just message me and I'll edit. I assumed you would have crashed either way, so I figured this would be the best option.)

Suddenly the chiss felt an abrupt change of direction in his spaceship descent.
The firespray didn't really slow down, but was now sliding parallel to the ground, a few meters of heights.
Though at that point there was no stopping the ultimate crashing of the vessel, and Raanil curled up, bracing for the inevitable impact, while D3 kept running around in a pointless effort to douse the flames in the cockpit.
And then, the ship hit the ground, raising a shower of debris and gravel all across its landing spot.

Slowly, carefully, the chiss checked himself to see if everything was in the right place, in the defeaning scream of sirens, notifying Raanil of the ill state of his ship.
As for the pilot, no damage seemed too serious: a gash across the forehead, a contusion of the shoulder, and one or two broken ribs. He'll live.
Cautiously, the merc stretched to peak outside the transparisteel. A sharp pain pierced his chest, followed by a tingling sensation that crept over his skin: ribs were broken alright.
Puffing, Raanil forced himself to concentrate on what was happening outside the cockpit: his ship was surrounded by what were presumably the pirates that shot him down, while, behind cover, barely visible, stood Grace, along with two partners.
One was what seemed a feral wookie, but at a second glance the chiss realized it was a member of a species unknown to him. What he could tell from the get-go was that it was huge and didn't look friendly.
The other Grace companion was a mandalorian. Which didn't say much about him, under the helmet there could be a gungan as well as a rodian and everything in between. Raanil didn't know much about mandalorians, but he felt that their was one of the few cultures he could respect, outside that of Csilla.
The posse looked about to be overrun.

< D3 > called Raanil, in a croacking voice. A chirp somewhere confirmed the astromech was waiting for instructions < Are the weapon systems still online ? >
< beep doo-weep >
< good, listen to me then >

A couple of pirates were approaching the firespray wreckage, while their brothers-in-arms kept putting pressure on Grace and her associates.
< Check if there's someone alive. or anything valuable >
Barked one of the pirates to another
< You check it, you're not the boss of me, sleemo >
Their spat was cut short when from the bowels of the downed ship came a low, mechanical sound. Then a hatch opened in the belly of the wounded beast, right before the eyes of the pirates, which froze.
Suddenly a slew of heat-seeking missiles sprung into the air and then onto the pirates, exploding them into a myriad of guts fragments.

Raanil, having witnessed the successful outcome of his trick, grinned. Then his peripheral vision became dark, and the merc passed out.

Tyr'din was in a heated gunfight with two more Pirates inside of the Tent which he just crashlanded in neither of the sides given eachother a quarter until... there was a sound in the Air... it sounded like something large was falling... fast, very fast and before either of the three combatants could react everyone inside that Tent was knocked on their ass, Tyr'din included, the shockwave alone from the impact of that Ship especially without being warned or able to brace for it was... well it was a big ship.

"Aye- What just happened?"

He spoke to himself as he hit the floor with the back of his head first, the other two were flatlined by the shockwave having been instantly knocked out as they fell not so opportunely whilst Tyr'din was lucky he wore a Helmet which kept him albeit everything was ringing conscious, within a moments notice his senses snapped back into action, if this knocked him on his ass it likely also meant both his Protectee and the Pirates had a bad time, his Protectee meaning more to him than the Pirates.

Rolling onto his stomach before pushing himself up, he looked for a exit and sure enough found it, pushing through the tarp outside he got to finally look at what in the blazes just happened, and sure enough... not far away there was a downed Firespray ship with a long trail of debrie behind it painted in what seemed to be Pirate blood and guts predominantly along the entry ramp.

"Doesn't look like a happy lan-"

Instinctual he whipped his arm up as a Bolt was fired and sure enough his instinct served him, one of the Pirates was aiming center mass for him and thankfully the Beskar vambrace around his left arm came up just in time to intercept, looking down surprised that his vambrace withstood that Tyr'din immedietly returned fire with a violent cacophony of shots even after the Pirate suffered the first fatal blow he sent two more into him just for good measure.

He then locked eyes with Rafe and more predominantly who was hunkering down with him, Grace. Seeing that they were having trouble he fired up his Jetpack once more and shot across the ground towards them coming to a halt in a deep dive behind their cover whilst he unslung the Rifle on his back, he looked to Rafe whilst trying to not make himself a bigger target.

"Can you fight? You dont look so goo-"

His eyes fell on Grace and as they did his words were cut off, Rafe knew when anger built in someone and whilst there was a Helmet preventing him from reading the mans facial expression he just knew what expression rested behind that Helmet, he wasn't in the know so he could've assumed anything could've happened to her.

The rumbling ground and the destruction that followed jostled Rafe as he was behind the cover, he'd wince and groan a bit, as Geace made her way back to the cover He saw her eyes roll back and caught her before she hit the ground, but after she bounced off the crate.

Fhtagn.. Rafe cursed, his massive arm under hers, behind her back and holding her up. Rafe would then stip

Taking out his Peacemaker, Rafe shot one of the men a bit further off, and went to take Grace back to the ship, and get out of this himself when he was confronted by @Tyr'din Selm. The small human had started to shake, Rafe could smell his anger. What are you doing back here? The fighti.. Rafe would say, only to be interrupted by the crashed ship's missiles being loosed. Kriff! Rafe yelled as area was littered with explosions that rocked the area. Missile after missile came out of that thing. It's targeting was kriffed of course, given the state of the ship and missiles crashed into everything.

Rafe slung @Grace Zann over his shoulder and made a run for it toward her ship. The jostling would probably wake her.. if he was lucky.

Grace just barely managed to see the successful use of her abilities as she fell limp for a couple moments. Thankfully @Rafe was their to catch her as her mind ever so briefly slipped away. The crashed firespray had displaced or outright killed several of the pirates, and managed to land Raanil without outright killing him. That was the goal anyhow.

She would not be privy to the anger of her bodyguard Tyr'din during this time, nor to the huge numbers of explosives released by her mercenary friend's gunship! Many of the remaining pirates would be blown to pieces by the random missiles!

The sounds of explosions and the massive wolf caring her would knock Grace back to consciousness. She would watch the sea of explosions fly across the battlefield devastating the pirates, but thankfully leaving @Raanil Chal relatively unharmed. The woman would begin coughing as she woke, quickly explaining "The firespray. He's one of ours! Hahahaa."

She would laugh as destruction covered the encampment, nearly wiping out everything the pirates had set up. Looked like she owed her friend another ship.

Something metallic was prodding his temple.
Raanil groaned and slowly opened his eyes, to see D3 poking his head with a computer spike.
The little guy was a huge help, the chiss had to admit it, though its methods were not always pleasant.
Raanil noted he hadn't been shot to death by the pirates during his blackout, which was a good thing.
It also seemed he could move, if not really run and jump like a kowakian monkey.
< D3 > he would call the astromech, while cautiously crawling out of his sit < make a passage for us, will you? >
< Doo-wee >
< Yes, i know you do, but i can't crawl trough the vent, can i? >

D3 proceeded to cut out a circular section in the transparisteel, all while giving what it could seem a little chuckle, if the merc didn't knew any better.
Raanil collected his disruptor pistol, his vibroblade and his durasteel hat, then emerged from the firespray.
< See what you can salvage, eh? >
< Beep-Doop >

The chiss reached Grace and her accomplice soon after, having limped across the half-destroyed pirate camp.
He found the Zann girl in the care of the wookie-looking guy. They both looked a bit battered: the big one was bleeding from a couple of wounds, while Grace had obviously passed out shortly before.
Raanil couldn't help but smile seeing the crime lord again. He had decided he liked her, after all, Jedi magic or not.
< Hey, Grace. You got anything to drink? >
The Zann heir replied with a faint smile.
The chiss looked around the encampment, before asking
< Wasn't there a mando? or is my concussion speaking? >
The big guy would point silently toward a couple of tents behind Raanil, where still a gunfight could be heard

Thankful for Rafes service, he would not forget what he was doing so easily though the back of his mind was still occupied with what couldve caused his protectee to be knocked out in such swift fashion, shaking his head briefly anger kept on building and building in him, his grip around his rifle tightened, he was not leaving this to be left unaccounted for.

"Knew I never should've left."

As Rafe carried her off, Tyr'din jumped right back to it, jetting right through a partially ruined tent before dissappearing from sight leaving behind only hefty blaster fire of two opposing sides meeting one another he had found who he had been looking for as a lengthy fight ensued, a scuffle that ended in hand to hand combat and not exactly pretty combat either.

The unmistakeable sound of bones breaking could be heard followed by what a very audible manly voice, thankfully not that of their companion crying out in pain repeatedly followed by the audible thumps of punches... kicks... then repeating once more over and over... and over, it was as if there was no end to it, whoever was going at it really had it out for whoever was receiving this treatment.

Crys of pain became whimpering of Agony and sure enough after a lengthy absence of the "Mandalorian" he resurfaced stepping off from the side of a ruined Tent dragging what looked to be a more hefty dressed Pirate by the Collar, he looked a bit more cut from the others around the encampment and deductions could easily be that he was in charge of what happened around here at the very least, or so Tyr'din thought.

Though the closer the pair came the more one could see the carnage Tyr'din has wrought onto the mans body, both arms were just... loosely dangling, dislocated or broken one could not quite tell, the left wrist was twisted into a direction it should not go whilst the right most lower leg was potruding forth a broken bone from the shin upwards which bled profusely, the face itself... indistinguishable, it had been mangled so much it was a miracle the man could breath without soiling everything around him.

Throwing the man on the ground infront of him just barely outside of the Ship they arrived in he watched him crawl or rather... attempt to crawl away, it was a pitiful attempt one that the now bloodied "Mandalorian" watched in cruel satisfaction, there was deactivated vibroblade that was thrust into his shin that he hadn't bothered to retrieve yet he was driven by sheer adrenaline and anger that he could barely feel the pain caused by it.

Looking back over his shoulder he had a keen lookout over the Encampment his eyes scanning through the transparisteel for any movement... any potential threats and begged that there were any more so that he could continue with his handiwork, he was roaring to go and was not easily stopped if anger got the better of him, he then set his eyes on the Chiss who looked more worse for wear than most of them Rafe included.

"Nice... hat."

He pointed his bloodied glove up to gesture to his hat it was the first that he noticed and likely one of the most distinguishing features about the Chiss, that and his... blind eye.

"What of the rest?"

Rafe chuckled a bit when @Tyr'din Selm threw the man who had appeared to be better equipped than the rest at Grace's feet. Not one of them had done exceedingly well today, but they'd gotten the job done, this was definitely the most shots Rafe had ever taken for a job..

As he winced, he placed @Grace Zann back to the ground, just as @Tyr'din Selm shoved a vibro blade in the leg of the pitiful man now sprawled out before them. Rafe mostly wanted to see what Grace would do here..

Rafe had been wounded, it wasn't life threatening or any sort of mortally scaring wound, but he had still been wounded, this would likely need some bacta.. a conclusion Rafe drew whilst prodding the blaster wound on his abdomen, but hey, what's a future crime Lord without a few scars?

Rafe leaned against the inside of the ramp of Grace's ship and lit another death stick, the long drag helped the small amount of spice flow through his system, easing the pain of having been shot, and leveling his head for now. These things would probably kill him one day... but not TOday..

What's the plan? Rafe asked Grace in front of the others.

Grace would chuckle as she watched Raanil walk up to them, "Perfect timing my friend!" By this point Rafe had already let her down, and she would attempt to shake the mercenary's hand. Following this however would be a rather brutal display as the pirate leader was beaten viciously, and dragged out to meet with grace. The man would squirm and grunt in pain, clearly bloodied, but he would very shortly succumb to his wounds.

"Excellent work Tyr'din. Shame he didn't survive, we could have thrown him out our airlock..." It would be then that the false mandalorian would ask about the rest of the pirates, who were all fleeing into the mountains. Something told her that they would see the thugs again some day, but they needed time to rest themselves.

"We let them go for now. If they come back, we kill them on sight."

She would then respond to Rafe, "It look's like the area is clear for now. There's still a lot more work to do before this place is habitable, but the Syndicates are going to make a mountain of credits by the time this is all over... If anyone would like to take a second look be my guest, but I'm pretty sure the starship missiles scared them all off."

The woman would then begin walking toward her gunship's location, "Come on, lets all go for a drink. First rounds on me."
