Cana followed Accalia into the room, not as a lost puppy but out of necessity. He couldn't communicate without her, he had deduced, so for now, he'd stay with her. Even as he turned his massive bulk to enter through the doorway, ducking low, his ears could pick up the conversations and banter that the others were having, though he only understood parts.

His ears twitched as the two men began arguing, growling slightly as one stabbed the table with his weapon threateningly. Though he only caught bits and pieces of the argument, he could tell it was heated just by the sheer animosity in the room. His own talons stretched wide as he smelled the scent of adrenaline enter the air, his own blood beginning to pump as the other warriors clenched their fists in anger. His instincts told him to stay out of the fight, and even his rational mind agreed. Getting into a fight between so many warriors would surely end in death, for him and several others at least. Looking for a way out, he spotted Accalia departing out of a nearby doorway, into what looked like a grassy area. He huffed, stepping around one of the Fett warriors, pursuing her.

He found her sitting in near a large field of plants, with plenty of scents to tease at his nostrils and even a sky, though Cana recognized the whir of electronics and mechanical components behind the mask with his sensitive hearing. She sat on a stone seat, and Cana hesitated slightly before walking up to her. He squatted across from her, rather than sitting, comfortably resting on his legs in the natural position he used to rest in the mines. In Shistavani, he spoke, flicking his tail gently, and letting his body language convey the curiosity in his speech rather than rely on the intonation and diction of basic. "Does something weigh your mind, Accalia?" he asked, hoping that her crude understanding of the language was enough to grasp the question.

Accalia had in fact noticed Cana’s presence long before he’d arrived before her. Her nose had picked up on his scent as soon as he’d followed her into the area. It was probably not a bad thing that the two of them withdraw into a more private location since a few of the others had taken it on themselves to start an argument amongst themselves.

She let her tail show a slight wag as Cana came and squatted before her, her ears perked back forward as she focused on him, listening to those more normal and natural tones that seemed anything but normal for her these days. Still, she hadn’t completely forgotten the language, though what she didn’t know she could piece together through the context of the conversation.

“Just needed to get some air.” She explained, though there was more than just the need for space on her mind, the last thing she wanted to explain to him was how uncomfortable she felt around arguments, in fact the whole thing had almost made her tremble. Still the air in the room seemed a bit less thick with their ego and tension.

Still, equally as curious as the big wolf before her she had to ask, even change a subject from the goings on in the other room. “How long?” giving just a slight motion with the tip of her nose towards the wrist bandages, her eyes had noticed all those little areas, spots and wounds that were of a slave. Accalia had them too, though hidden well beneath her fur and her armored exterior.

----------------------

Cana nodded, understanding her need to get away from the brewing argument. Those in there were just as alien to him as some of the slaves that had been brought into the mines. She seemed happy to see him, perking at his approach and wagging her tail slightly. He growled as he smiled, a calm tone he used to speak to children as a slave. As she pointed to the wraps upon his arms and legs, Cana looked down. He hesitated for a moment, before unwinding the wrap on his right wrist, letting the dull grey scars show in the light where his fur was gone. "10 seasons I think. Though I do not know for sure. They kept me chained apart from the others, and I worked in mostly darkness." he ran a talon over the scar, remembering the weight of the chains. "Too long, but no longer." He looked at her, debating telling her the truth, then shrugged as he found his answer. "I came here today on one of the flying buildings...I was a slave two days ago. Freedom...is a word I've yet to understand."

---------------------

Accalia returned just a little bit of that smile to the male as he growled with his own. Was perhaps a nice thing meeting another one of her kind, while in the last couple of years she could’ve likely went back and found her people, she honestly wasn’t really sure where they were, where her homeworld was. She hadn’t really looked for them, contented enough to find her place among the Orar that had taken her in, helped her.

Accalia’s focus tightened on Cana though as he looked down, hesitated in his answer to her, unwinding the wrist wrap. She saw that look, heard the tone, perhaps a bit of shame at having been as he was, two days ago was none a feat considering how he’d managed to at least attempt to merge himself into a social setting.

Pushing herself off of the spot she’d been sitting she approached Cana and knelt down right before him, perhaps the closest she’d been to him since she’d gone to greet him in the beginning. Still, the female with the artificial implant along the right side of her face looked to her own arm. Accalia slowly unclipped the locks of her bracers, hinging them open and sitting the piece of metal to the ground between them before she brought her own arm up, turned so her wrist was facing upward towards Cana. She too had similar scars there, some deep, the fur was shorter there, but growing back to it’s full length little by little. Still that same look Cana had was equally on his female counter part as she looked to her old scars, and to Cana’s more fresh.

“Twenty.” She answered back to her male counter part, tilting her head a bit so the edge of her neck could be seen more easily, just above the armored piece that went around her neck was a line that circled it completely, it was still sensitive there, even for her all this time later. “When I was freshly freed. I couldn’t sleep without my collar.” Accalia replied, “The people out there. One of them helped me be… more than a pet again. “

Her blue gaze lofted and focused on Cana’s once more. “Find your place among these people and they will show you what real freedom is, if they can stop their arguing. “ she gave a slight shake of her head with a glimpse back towards the doorway she'd entered from.

-------------------

Cana gazed at her, admiring her blue eyes. She was comforting him, and he almost felt a tear come to his eyes at her words. He would never have guessed that she was a slave as well, and he reached to touch her scars. "Real freedom..." he mused, curling his hand about her thinner, but muscled arm. He wagged his tail as he stood up, his height forcing her gently to her feet as well. He let go, quickly winding the bandage back onto his arm. "I never grew to accept the chains. There was another Shistavanen there...Reika. You remind me of her. We were close. Until the mine foreman found us. She died, right before I killed them all. I killed those monsters and escaped on the shuttle here." he said shakily, his tone growing more angry as the memory etched in his mind. He turned, snarling frustratedly. "I have no choice but to find a place. I am the Last Brave of my pack. Once I was Slave. Now I am Cana, again, after all these years." He looked at her, a fire in his eyes, but he took a more calm posture to imply a happy nature as he smiled. He decided to test his basic, somewhat jokingly. "Cana...wheel." he smiled, shaking his head as licked his nose and chuckled. He returned to Shistavani. "Such a complicated language."

---------------

Accalia stayed in place as Cana reached out and took hold of her arm, feeling his big strong paw coil about her scarred wrist she kept her eyes with his. As he wagged his tail and stood, she snagged up her piece of armor with her other hand and rose up with him, even standing the big male loomed over her, causing the smaller female to tilt her head to keep her attention focused on him.

When he finally let go she worked her armored piece back on and closed the clasps to it, securing it back in place, though her paws were free and without glove, were just some things she couldn’t get use to, needing her senses to respond seemed a good reason to keep some things as they were meant to be.

She listened to his tale of Reika, her ears drooped back as Cana progressed the story onward, the way in her tail ended as she gave just a little whimper in response to the tale, though Cana’s turn and snarl had the female extend her paw out to him again, she tugged him to turn back to her once more as she brought her other paw up and gave a little run of her paw along the fur atop of his head, a little pet along the backside of his ears. It was a little test of sorts, Accalia knew she found that area enjoyable, it was possible the big male would too, soothing him of sorts.

“I would have done the same Cana. Justice for your loss.” Accalia replied, though she needed not go into details of how their paths seemed similar if only separated by years. She finally drew her paws back and gave him a slight grin as he tried to speak in basic. At least the two of them could chuckle about it among themselves and not insultingly like earlier.

“Will..” Accalia tried to help him pronounce, placing a fingertip against Cana’s soft cheek she instructed, “Try from here, not like a growl or a huff.” Accalia tried to demonstrate, puffing her cheeks just a little to make her lips pucker just a bit “Ww.will. Cana Will.”

-----------------

Cana smiled, wagging his tail slightly as Accalia scratched his head, though he strained to contain himself against the affection. He was a brave and an escaped slave, a murderer, petty affections couldn't be afforded. Though he smiled inwardly at the feeling, a memory from when he was a pup. He nodded, taking Accalia's advice for speaking basic. "Cana...will." he grinned wolfishly, proud of his accomplishment, wagging his tail at the success.

----------------

Accalia wagged her tail equally proud of Cana as he tried and got the pronunciation down properly. A lot of that silly human speech was based on the shape of the mouth, the location of the tongue, she certainly could dare one of them to try and say something in Shistavanen! Perhaps then both she and Cana would have the last laugh! She grinned back at him, giving him a nod as he beamed at his accomplishment.

“Good!” she answered, keeping her wolfish grin as she bowed her head just a little, “Much of basic depends on the tongue. Can teach you how to speak it more properly, maybe you can remind me how to speak proper Shistavanen.” She suggested, she certainly had plans to stay there for a few more days, less that insultory Hutt managed to get her to leave first or the two rival Clans killed one another and started a war in this place.

---------------

Cana nodded in agreement. Shistavani used guttural growls and barks from the throat and diaphram, significantly different. The tongue was used as a sensing appendage almost solely. "Of course." he barked happily. Basic would be needed in this new location, and any other that he may visit in the near future. He had one other question, though, that he'd observed moving into the facility. "Accalia, what are the shiny-sticks that they keep using?" he asked inquisitively. The dock workers had been given some during his escape, and he had often seen the foreman working with them, counting them and grinning vehemently.

---------------

Accalia wagged her tail a bit more in pleasantness as well, there was a lot she gathered the two of them could teach each other. Cana was seemingly a pleasant wolf to be around, and she couldn’t fault him for not knowing the higher complexities of social grace considering his background and that fact that only after having personal training by her former Alor did she actually grasp how she was suppose to interact with others.

“Shiny-sticks?” Accalia gave an inquisitive look towards her male counterpart. There was a momentary thought that drew her paw into the pouch at her side, unzipping it and fishing out a credit chit she held it up and towards Cana to judge if the sliver of metal was what he’d been referring to.

“Did it look like these?” she questioned, taking a step back towards her canine counterpart so he could get a better look. “These are called credits. They are money.” Her blue eyes lingered on Cana’s golden hues as she tried to explain, for her she’d known what money was her whole life, the things that she won for her Masters so they could buy nice things and feed her.

How to explain better, “The things you dug out of the mines were traded for these. These can be traded for lots of other things. Some of them aren’t a lot..” Accalia explained, placing the silver slip into Cana’s palm. “This one could probably buy you a meal.” She taught him, while working the one golden slip she had in the same pouch back out. She might’ve been an Alor, but that didn’t make her independently wealthy either. Placing it next to the one she’d left in Cana’s palm she let him see the difference, one was silver, one was golden, the golden one looked much nicer than the silver one, better crafted.

“This one on the other hand could probably buy you meals for a month.”

---------------

Cana looked inquisitively at the credits, as Accalia had called them. It was strange to him, exchanging these things for food. "What good are they when they trade? What is money?" he pondered, gazing at them, then looking at Accalia's blue eyes. He arched his brow happily, wagging his tail as he laughed at the small things she held. They seemed so insignificant. "The others view them with such importance...are they?" he asked, amused.

-------------

Accalia drooped her ears back sightly trying to explain to her curious male counterpart. How to explain money to someone who had probably never had money before. She perked her ears back up as she heard him laugh and watched his tail wag. She grinned at him just a little bit though made no attempt to retrieve the credits back from him. "Importance comes when you have a lot of them." Accalia nodded towards the gold one, "Lots of those can buy lots of things. Weapons, slaves, even the -flying building- that you came here on. Lots of people want those little slips. They may not want rocks from a mine, but they usually will take those, cause they can use them to get something -they- want later on." She gave the big burly male a playful little push as he just grinned at her, amused. "I'm serious!" she wagged her tail, grinning larger at him.

-------------

Cana was entertained by the explanation as she explained the system to him. When she pushed him, he barely moved, chuckling to himself. "Well," he spoke, wagging his tail as he was now comfortable around Accalia, "If I need a lot of them, how do I get them?" he asked. If they were only important in large amounts, he'd have to obtain them.

--------------

Accalia kept her grin as the big male barely swayed from her push, unmoving, unwaivering as she too was growing more comfortable around the big canine. His question was an easy one to respond to, one which made her tail wag just a little bit, "Ideally you get a job. Something you're good at doing, or good at making, and people give you them in return." Accalia explained, letting her eyes wander along Cana's big impressive figure before she focused back on his eyes.

"You're big and strong, could get a job helping defend people, or fighting in an army. Our kind usually excell in jobs that require us to be strong, and to hunt, to find things and people." she explained, "Is called Bounty Hunting. Pays really well. A lot of the guys back in the other room find a living as Mercenaries or Bounty Hunters. Lots of them have their own ships and travel the stars."

-------------

Cana pondered the thought. Being paid to hunt seemed promising. He matched her gaze, intrigued. "A hunter? I could do this. And ships that travel stars...the flying buildings? Those can be controlled by us? How can I learn to do that?" he asked excitedly, his tail wagging quickly as he pictured himself hunting across the sky in his own ship. He would have to look into this 'Bount Hunting' after they finished with the other people. A second question crossed his mind as he thought, "The people here, with armored hides, they are hunters too?"

------------

Accalia nodded to the big male and grinned a bit, "Yes. The flying buildings. Most people call them star ships." she explained, curling her tail around her side just a bit as she watched him realize that they were capable of so much more. Accalia gave a nod and a toothy grin, "Yes. Find someone with a starship who's willing to let you play around with it is generally the easiest way." she explained, in regards as to how to learn to fly.

Accalia looked back towards the doorway, no doubt the arguing was still going on and then back to the big excited male before she gave him a nod again, "Most of them are. There are few who aren't a hunter of some sort. Their packs raise them from pups to fight and be great hunters in most cases. If you are going to be a good hunter, the Mandalorians can teach you how to be the best." she explained. "Even I haven't learned everything they have to teach me." Though she could certainly do without the hostility that seemed more than consistent as they confronted one another about the Summit.

------------

Cana nodded understandingly. He really had no idea what was possible in the galaxy at large, his isolation before and during slavery. "I am sure I have much to learn as well." he grinned. He turned, folding his arms across his broad chest, making the fur stick up slightly. He looked inside, specifically at Verus. He pointed his nose in Verus' direction, leaning towards Accalia. "I wonder if that one will teach me. He seems to be a great alpha. Look at the way they speak with him, how they look at him." noted Cana, observing the respect the Mandalorians showed to Verus and how cool and calm he responded in the face of such accusations and hostility from the one. Cana looked back at Accalia, smiling. "You say Mandalorian? Teach me to say it in basic, please. And his name. I want to ask him myself. Though I am sure you'd translate for me, its something I'd like to do myself."

-------------

Accalia nodded to him, watching the stance Cana took, seemed she'd quite possibly gotten the big wolf out of his shell just a little bit. He certainly had made her own decision to step out of the main hall a bit more warm and enjoyable. Her head canted a bit to the side, looking in the direction Cana was, towards Verus inside.

The things her Shistavanen counterpart spoke were true, Verus did seem like many of those things, it was only unfortunate that she didn't know him well enough to say so without a doubt. Especially considering the accusations that were being made about who caused what in the Summit were troubling enough, she would still have to question such later. Perhaps asking the old friend of her Alor what happened would be a good start.

Looking back to the smiling Cana she gave a perked brow at his request and followed it with a nod that she would. She'd teach him how to say the words he needed, and the titles. Alor. Verus Fett. Clan meant pack. That he wanted to learn the way of the warrior, to know the values of the Mandalorians. While there was the thought that eventually they would split paths at some point, Accalia was starting to grow fond of Cana's eagerness, and excitement to learn. At least if he was with the Fetts she was sure he would be in safe, secure hands.

----------------

Cana repeated the words over and over again, practicing with Accalia until he had it down. Though he was unskilled and his pronunciation was a bit off, it didn't take him too long to understand and speak the language of the others. Most things he did worked this way; he was a quick learner. He grinned, speaking in basic. "I am Cana. I....want to learn the path of your warriors." he smiled, continuing, "Alor Verus Fett. May I be of your pack? Your clan?" He grinned, changing back over to Shistavanen, "How was that? Think I can be a Brave in his pack with that?"

----------------

Accalia grinned almost ear to furry ear as Cana spoke in basic, she knew he had a long way to go before he could go extremely into long fruitful conversations as he was having with her through their Shistavanen, but it seemed the big male's probably seemed to relate more to how to prounce words, though she figured after a bit more practice he would be chattering a good bit. She smiled at this idea, listening to those heavy deeper tones. Her tail wagged heavily as he got the words she'd taught him down properly, she gave him a large smile and brought her paw up, giving a little touch to his furry cheek as he asked her if she thought he could be a Brave in Verus's pack. "I think you have the ability to be anything you want to be once you learn how."

---------------

Cana hesitated, unsure of how to react to the female's touch. Not two days prior, Reika had touched the same spot, with the same tenderness. He caught her wrist gently, running his talon along her palm lightly. He smiled, remaining friendly, but had wrapped his tail to his side nervously. It was strange, but he grinned at her nonetheless, looking into her blue eyes. He shook his head, recovering. Changing the subject, he pointed to the small pistol on her hip. "What is that as well?" he asked, his curious nature governing him once again. It was an odd device, and several of the superviors had carried them, or reached for them before he tore them apart and fed on their throats during his escape.

--------------

Accalia didn't flinch her touch away as Cana's hand rose up and caught her wrist, drawing her paw from that soft fluff and brushing his clawed digit along her palm. Her eyes lingered with his for a moment as he gave that uneasy smile, perhaps even generating one of her own before he shook his head, changed the subject, perhaps breaking the otherwise really awkward moment between them. Her head tilted, glimpsing towards the blaster at her hip for a longer moment than she probably should have. Had Cana been able to see beneath that dark grey pelt of hers he very well likely would've seen a hint of red flush about her face and slowly start fading again.

"O..Oh this?" she glimpsed towards the item that hung from the holster on her belt, she reached and tugged it out, pressing a small button on the hilt and releasing the energy cell from within, turning the emptied blaster over to Cana for him to see she let him hold it, it was a modified version of a human weapon, one meant for her larger paws to be able to use more efficiently. Cana's too should've felt more proper for it.

"It's called a blaster. You'll get one of these eventually if you want to be a hunter. " she tried to explain, avoiding a direct look at that big male's eyes again for the moment as she pointed a digit towards the trigger and then the end of the blaster. "Squeeze there, point that at what you want to either injure or kill." she explained simply enough.

----------------

Cana's eyes widened at her explanation, ignoring the slight change in scent from Accalia respectfully. "Point at what I want to kill?" he examined the empty blaster in his palm, rolling it over. The technology was foreign to him, but it awed him that it existed. He'd definitely have to get one in time, just as he'd need one of the star ships she'd spoken of. He held it like she'd directed him to, holding it up. It was somewhat odd to his grasp, his talons a little too long to fit comfortably around the grip, but otherwise it fit well. He held it out, squeezing the trigger and smiling. "Interesting. A weapon then."

--------------

Accalia gave him a nod, still focused on the blaster perhaps a little bit more than on Cana, watching him roll it over, examine it, even hold it and point like she'd told him. There was a small smile that crept on her face, perhaps the very first one she'd taught anything to in her new position as Alor. Perhaps she could get the hang of things after all, and besides, Cana needed to know how to defend himself if he needed to. Extending her paw and taking her blaster back she stuffed the energy cell back into the weapon and saftied it before she made motion with it with her paw. "Ideally you never have to use one of these Cana. They are powerful and you should always intend to kill whatever you point this thing at." Accalia stated a bit firmly before holstering her side arm back once more. "I've had to use them far too often and from a young age." she explained, "I still hate using them." explained the female. "But rather have one than be in a situation where I need it and not have it."

--------------

Cana understood Accalia's mindset. "I think I'd prefer my talons nonetheless." he held up his right hand, flexing his taloned fingers, the light reflecting off of their black sheen. He smiled as he repeated her previous action of scratching his head on her own, worried. She seemed focused elsewhere than him. "Is something wrong, Accalia?" he asked, squinting slightly with his golden eyes. She seemed distracted, perhaps distant. He flicked his tail once, worry setting in. Had she misunderstood something he had said? He didn't mean to offend her.

-------------

Accalia nodded just a little bit to Cana, looking to that flexed hand and the taloned fingertips. She could relate and agreed with him, there were times that acting in her natural state without armor, without weapons, just fur and claws. When he mentioned something being wrong Accalia's eyes did finally draw back to Cana's, she drooped her ears back slightly and gave a shake of her head. "Nothing is wrong Cana." she tried to assure him, that flick of his tail and his worried look she flicked her tongue at her nose just a little, moistening it. Stepping forward towards him to show she wasn't retreating back she looked to her big male counterpart once more. "We should probably check back, yes?" she offered him just a little bit of a smile, another change of subject perhaps, a diversion back to the rest of the gathered Mandalorians.

" Who you spoke for doesn't matter Verus. We all payed the price, one way or another... "

Ripping his blade from the table, Delmon placed the weapon back within it's sheath.

" Do you think you were the only one who left? Your actions spurned others on as well. Your words were a catalyst that lead to the talks falling apart. Had we stood unified as one things might have ended differently, but why keep a war mount that's been crippled? Don't you see that the only reason they even chose to speak with us was that they caught wind of our unification? They saw a potential threat, and when they were greeted with our dysfunctional display they saw it fit to wipe us out to prevent us from ever becoming a threat again."

Delmon let a sigh escape past his lips. It was true that their enemy was the Sith, but he couldn't bring himself to forgive the genocide that in his mind was caused by the Fett Alor. To many lives had been extinguished, over brash words and petty feelings. They had come to speak of peace, he would do his best to keep his emotions in check.

"Though my beliefs speak otherwise I cannot will myself to hate you... Whatever brotherhood we once had is broken, though we are both allied with the Hutts and their cartel do not assume Ordo will come to your aid. We have enough problems to worry about as it is."

Verus listened to the man speak without interrupting. He had many thoughts, but none he wanted to share with this man. That others had followed Verus' path in leaving the summit only reinforced his belief that he had done the right thing. When the Ordo clan leader had finished, the Fetts turned to their leader, as if expecting a reply. Verus, however, remained silent, looking at the Ordo only for a moment longer, before he turned back to Lucifer, and offered a slight bow.

"You have my apologies for this disturbance, Master Vapaelrazio. It was rude of us to let this happen at a time when you were welcoming us with open arms. Rude, and ungrateful. I apologize once again, and I hope you will not hold it against our brothers and sisters in our respective clans."

Cana nodded at Accalia, agreeing with her. He led the way, ducking through the doorway once again to join the others. He had heard the argument dying down as he approached, his acute senses picking up the calmer voices from some distance. Looking around, he spied Verus bowing to the pale one. Smiling at the corners of his mouth somewhat predaciously, he moved towards the Alor of Pack Fett. Ignoring the glances from his men, he took an open place on the wall behind Verus, leaning his massive bulk against it. He hoped Accalia would stand by him to translate, but otherwise he would wait until they dispersed to speak with him.

He perked his ears, listening across the room to the others. He licked his jowls, yawning wide so that his fangs were shown to the room, before snapping them shut and licking his nose to wet it. He wondered why exactly they were arguing previously, though he had understood one word from the other man who had partaken; hate. It was one of the few he understood well from the mines. Ignoring the thoughts that came with it, he turned his head to face Lucifer, listening for his next words. Not that he'd understand them, but he was catching on quickly to their phonetics just by listening, thanks to Accalia's little bit of advice. For once, Cana was proud and glad of his ability to learn quickly.

Lucifer's arms hung wide open in the air, upturned over them, exaggerating the expanse of time since his last words until now; facial expression spoiled into a differently seductive sneer. Two had become entrapped in initially impregnable implication. One had left the room, another following in tow. Each group so finitely segregating into their defining personalities, as if to wear colors so that Lucifer might read them for what they were and know exactly what he needed to know about each of them. Controlled chaos. How lovely.

He grinned that familiarly entranced ease in ecstasy, utterly entertained. All to himself.

"...Verus brings up a wonderful point."

He moved on effortlessly, as seamless as though there had been no break in orated opus; right fist crossing subtly onto his breast, honoring the Alor's apology with minimalism and expressed integrity.

"How are we all to fit under this one roof? To give equal part for what was paid... Simple. We've...I've...integrated your system's interface with an updated selection of bounties and missions to assist the Cartel in its continued support of your clans, in funding and entrusting its spending for all our benefit, as we work together against our common enemy. These are generally the same official business our Kung takes part in, and you, our honored guests, are welcome to join in and lend a hand; also earning an extra helping of assistance for your respective clans. The more you grant us, the more we might grant you and yours in return. No favoritism. Just earned income. A separate pot, distinct from the general Mandalorian fund."

Lucifer's cheeks stretched a plastic smile, no different than what he'd offered this entire time, as he explained the benefits of assisting the Cartel in its growth. All Mandalorians would be given what was previously agreed upon. It had been made official. Though if any wished to prove a greater asset to the Cartel, then their family would see even greater investment sown into their seed. After all, if the Mandalorians wished for more, all they had to do was see their benefactor expand; both the better for their growth and harmonious affiliation.

Kenshin was relieved that thus far the two Alors had yet to come to blows. He hoped it stayed that way for it was division that had nearly destroyed them once and was again well on its way to destroying them a second time. The truth was that not all the blame lay with the sith, the only reason the sith were able to do what they did was because of the pride that tore them apart and turned brothers into enemies. That allowed the the pride of the warriors to fester and made what the sith did even more likely. It seemed that they as a people would one day have to see that they, like their new crusader ancestors, were going to have to adapt and cast off some of the traditions that are holding them back. That was a discussion for the ears of brothers only not to be herd by the hutt sleemo in the room. War sure did create strange bedfellows.

While he hadn't followed his Alor, he did stretch out his senses and made sure she was alright. He was heartened by the slight feelings of joy that emanated from her he still was yet to trust the the new visitor, too unknown for Kenshin's tastes. He returned to his group for now following them along making sure that they were okay.

Accalia had returned back to the main gathering of her fellow clans and situated herself into a position next to Cana. She let her armored and weaponized backside touch against the wall as she listened to the pale one speak further. Upon that staged corner, everyone’s eyes upon him as he spoke of what the Barracks were, and how they were all going to live under one roof.

Accalia’s blue eyes narrowed at this just a bit and as he rounded off his speech with that smile Accalia spoke, those deep gruff Shistavanen tones were in Basic, clear and understandable basic.

“It is a lofty dream you speak of Lucifer Vapaelraizo...” Accalia began, paying no attention to the shift in people’s gaze towards the big female wolf that was taller than most but still dangerously armored as much as they were, though most did not recognize her, nor even know of whom she was. She was quiet and reserved as an Alor of Clan Orar, but when she spoke at least they listened.

“Living under one roof and in one location. Assisting the Cartel in it’s business and missions. But it isn’t a dream that I, nor my Clan share, for we have been subjected to nightmares of unimaginable kind as of late.” She inhaled a deeper breath through her nose following the brush of her tongue against it. “Clan Orar has always been of the sky and mobile. It has served us well the past, and likely will serve us equally in the future. This place…” Accalia gave a glimpse towards the big room they were in, “ Speaks of a peaceful time. A time that they – we, should relax and trust in your security.” Accalia’s gaze set upon Lucifer directly. “No Master Lucifer, we Orar do not wish to sit idle and wait for the Sith to find us here, we desire retribution for the many sins bestowed on us over the last weeks.

While this place offers a gathering for many clansmen, it is not what Orar wants or needs. Your space, your technology, and your yards have the ability to outfit and upgrade many of our ships. To rearm them with the best that the Hutt Cartel has to offer, then to use them as a sharp blade to stab into the beast that is the Sith Imperium. We are an army, one of the finest in the galaxy even broken as we are, an army which the annals of history are lined with tales of. A group of warriors, a people which the Sith have taken the ideals and spirit of and shaped and molded one of the finest armies this galaxy has ever seen many times before. They made a mistake in turning on us. They tried to kill us, to wipe us out completely, but they failed. In their failure they will pay – I do not wish to sit here and make credits Master Lucifer, I wish to do as I have always done – fight. We are the dogs of war and the Sith fear us, and this is why you call us to you, not because you truly wish to assist our people. What is it that you can offer us that is worth the lives of our warriors... warriors that choose to aid the Hutt Cartel?”

Suddenly, a man no one recognized stepped out of the shadows, looking at everyone from under a wide-brimmed hat.
"And if the Cartel isn't the work you're looking for, I always need more men for my employers' security forces." The man spoke. "KES will treat you well. It'll be like dealing with another Manda'lor. You only need answer the call to arms."

At the newcomer, Evagria's eyes went wide with a mixture of surprise and fear.
"Wait, Inferno?"

Cana stood by, not allowing his frustration to show as each of them spoke. He barely understood any of them, but as Accalia spoke, her body language read that she was quite passionate about her words. He gauged the reactions of several, including Verus who had thus far remained completely still and unmoving, and deduced that something she had said was a challenge to the pale-one, confronting him on an idea that even Verus and his debating opponent could agree upon.

Cana bristled slightly as a man he hadn't seen enter spoke from the corner. He wore a wide-brimmed hat, and while some of the others might have been able to see his eyes, Cana's height prevented the angle required as he jumped off the wall, somewhat startled as he spoke. However, he was somewhat relieved of his surprise when one of Accalia's pack greeted him, apparently familiar to him. He stood, leaning in to Accalia's ear so his low growls of Shistavani did not disturb any of the others.

"I didn't see this one. Is he welcome?" he asked, glancing over at the man from beneath his brow, somewhat annoyed by his theatrical entrance.

Verus, reverting once again to silence, watched as the newcomer made his appearance. The Shistavani did not seem pleased at the man's appearance, and neither was Verus. He shot the alien a glance, and a silent shake of his head to answer the question of whether or not the newcomer was invited. When the newcomer spoke of Mand'alor, there was tension in the air. It was a sensitive subject, and one that one did not breach easily. Verus decided to let cooler heads prevail, and spoke:

"If I were you, stranger, I would hold my tongue. You do not realize it, but your words are offensive to my brothers and sisters. You or yours are not Mand'alor, nor do you have the right to speak of the title as such. There is no Mand'alor. We need no Mand'alor. The time of Corden Vencu and his ways are in the past. We live in the present. We will not answer a call to arms from you as we did from him. We may have been reduced to mere hirelings, but we still have our pride. We still have that."

" That. "

Delmon said as he drew his slug pistol but kept it aimed to the floor and at his side.

" We can agree on. "

For a secure compound that prided itself in its own secrecy there seemed to be no shortage of unwanted guests. It troubled Delmon, and reminded him of the lack of true secrecy they all shared. Though he knew next to nothing about it, his betrayal at the hands of one of its members made the Mandalorian aware of the extensive spy network the Sith employed in their endeavors. He was sure there existed members of said organization even within the deepest corners of the Hutt cartel, though he would never openly say as much.

" The Fett speaks the truth, we have no need for a Mand'alor. Take your false titles elsewhere if that is all you came equipped with. "

Accalia shook her head in equal agreement that the newcommer hadn't been invited, at least as per herself, with both Delmon and Verus equally disputing the so called 'uniter' she cast a look towards Kenshin and Evagria, a slight nod of her head signaled her intentions to leave as she looked back to Delmon and Verus once more, she drew in a deep breath and flicked her tongue across the tip of her nose before she gave those growled Shistavani laced basic words.

"I had hoped for a meeting with both of you in a more private and secure setting. As it is neither, I'm returning to my Clan. I still wish for a meeting with the both of you in time, the future of all Mandalorians hang in the balance with our choices, and I would much enjoy seeing an era of cooperation between our Clans." Accalia stated, a sincere gesture with a bow of her head as she withdrew two tiny data-sticks from the pouch at her hip and extended one to the both of them.

"You'll find the ability to contact me directly on these. I hope you both accept my being here as a gesture that I am willing to work with both Clans Fett and Ordo. The Hutts.." she cast a glimpse back towards the direction of the Hutt envoy before refocusing her blue oculars on the two Mandalorian Alors. "... I'm none too impressed with. Too many pretenses there for my trust just yet. "

With that the Orar Alor turned, retrieving her helmet and inserting it over her head, allowing for her ears to peek through the top beneath their armored backings. Stepping to leave she paused and placed a paw on Verus's shoulder, a turn of her head had her glimpse back towards Cana before she looked to Verus, "Look after him. Not too many of my kind ever find themselves in such a place. "

With her last words she looked to both of her Clan mates and headed onward, reversing her path she'd taken there and heading back for the entrance she'd been led into and outward to the landing platform and her shuttle. It was time for the Orar to rejoin the stars, though their path back to the fleet would be an indirect one.

Inferno immediately found himself somewhat pissed, but still cool-headed. "Alright, pardon my goddamn Basic, but can we all just calm the hell down. Seriously..." He began with a mix of exasperation and sarcasm. "I don't know what other term you want me to use. Plus, if you didn't like the Manda'lor, and didn't answer his call to arms, then doesn't that mean you're not Mandalorian by definition" He pointed out, remembering what little he knew of the Mandalorian code of honour or some such shit that people called it. Then he realized that most of those in the room had either unholstered their weapons, or had their hands resting on them. However, he didn't so much as tense up. If there was only one thing he knew, it's that he could outdraw anyone and everyone in the room. On top of that, he knew how to use his foresight to save his ass, and was dangerous in a firefight and in hand-to-hand. "I think everyone is getting way to sensitive over one word, so how about we all just calm the frack down..."

Evagria, after seeing Inferno for the first time in over 6 years, was forced to leave without so much as a proper "hello". She felt sad when her Alor bayed her to leave, but she was obedient.

Kenshin didn't like the new man and his horrible attitude toward those assembled. It seemed that the hutts themselves were not doing as good as he had hoped. So far too many people have made it past. While he wanted to stay and see what was going to happen it was time to leave, with so many sneaking in he was going to be on extra alert for the time being. He followed the warrior women out, noticing the longing glance that the medic cast towards the second stranger.

Verus ignored the man. He turned his black visor towards the leaving Ordo alor, acknowledging her bow and exit with one of his own. He then turned to Delmon Skyblade, and said:

"You and I have a great deal to discuss, as well as our friend of Clan Orar, I am certain. But that is for another time and place, away from such people as that one." He didn't even bother gesturing towards Inferno. "For now, fare well, Alor of Aliit'Ordo." He turned to Lucifer, and added: "And to you as well, Lucifer Vapaelrazio. Clan Fett will be in contact, you have my word. I would consider it a personal favor, however, if you would increase security around the barracks to make sure no outsiders such as that one are allowed inside in the future. Their presence offends the Manda, and their words the Mando'ade."

With that, Verus Fett turned and walked out of the barracks. His comrades in arms followed suit.

"Oh, wow, looks like I found myself butthurt pansies instead of Mandos. What happened to your guys' fighting spirit and clever comebacks? Not insults of someone like they aren't within earshot of your ass!" Inferno said, thoroughly annoyed by the whiny, immature psuedo-Mandos. "Well, I'm sorry I hurt your feelings, but I have to be leaving anyway." He very casually strode across the hall towards the door. "We still need mercenaries... if any of you are looking for work..." He shot a glaring look at Verus, "... regardless of personal beliefs." He left a very sarcastic emphasis on the "regardless". He closed the door behind him as if he were never there.

Delmon snorted at the intruders childish display, his words fell as harmlessly as rain upon his back. Inferno made it quite clear he would be no threat to anyone within the Mandalorian barracks by his actions. This fact was made all the more clear when he stormed out of the building along with most of the Mandalorians who had gathered. Holstering his pistol as he let a long sigh pass his lips, Delmon surveyed the now empty room briefly before making his own exit.

Verus' words rang in his head like a chime in the wind. Perhaps a talk between the surviving Alors in a more secluded location would do them some good, though he doubted any trust would be fostered, especially so soon after the Sith's genocide.
