Anya had just settled her beloved doggo, Grumps, to sit in front of her wheelchair, decked out in his harness, her chair being strapped to anchor points in the floor of the troop bay of the korm'kr ship. Outwardly, she appeared pretty calm, but inwardly, it was all she could do to not bounce eagerly in her seat.
Tilting her head, and intently listening at the twelve kids and five other freshly helmeted youngsters sitting around her, she noted that she might have to act soon, as she could feel the anxiety rising. She really didn't want to have to deal with a collective panic! Teacher mode it is!
Letting out a loud whistle, she made sure she could feel all their attention on her, before speaking.
"Alright kiddos! Hold on to your buckets if you have one, and hold on to your butt if you don't! It might have been a little unexpected, but we get to go on a field trip! It's entirely up to you to make it a precious learning opportunity, or a scary event!"
Anya was definitely eager for whatever might happen, as it had been five years since she last went outside of the compound where she lived! Of course, teaching the brats wasn't miserable, but she had been itching for some action for a while! She knew she had gotten soft a little, and that the years had taken their toll on her body, but a mando's love of battle never truly dies! Her blood was singing in her veins, and a delighted smile painted itself on her hidden face.
Speaking of singing...
"Now, who wants to suggest the first song for the ride? I challenge you all to find one I don't know! And if you're able to sum up what the song you suggest is about, it'll be bonus points on your next test!"
Anya then reached behind her seat to grab her bes'bev (made of plain basic steel, not beskar) and tapped a peice of her helmet, which slid to reveal a hole to insert the mouth piece of her flute to be able to play without removing her bucket.
