LIGHTSABER/SWORD FORMS:
A sort of dance-like form - combining graceful movements with deadly precision. It would be comparable to the lightsaber form Ataru (Form IV), except without all the complex acrobatics. This form compensates for his below-average strength: a flurry of attacks instead of brute force.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Marian is best at formulating short pieces of poetry. His combative ability comes in second. The guy is not superb at close combat, carrying only a small vibrodagger concealed in his boot for self-defense.

Four cannons, aiming forward. Tow dual, repeating cannons are mounted on top and bottom with 360 degree rotation, located towards the rear. It is hyperspace capable, using a standard engine (he hardly has the money).

PERSONALITY:
Unlike many pirates, Marian is more like a Jedi than the stereotypical, gruff scoundrel. It is rare for Marian to break out in rage, but when he does so, it turns out to be originating from personal morals, most of the time anyways. His morals include not striking back at women, sometimes leading to somewhat comical situations. He prefers to dress in a more aristocratic manner (despite a lack of money to go to a proper school), smokes and drinks now and then. What makes his life more difficult is that Marian is incompetent in the financial views. When he finds a quiet corner away from the troubles of the galaxy, Marian writes poetry as a relaxant.

HISTORY:
Marian was born and raised in the slums of Coruscant. Life was more than difficult, death was always around the corner, forcing the kid to adapt quickly. Hardened with the need to support himself, he turned to mechanics, and eventually found himself a pilot of a passenger ship. Marian was forced to learn to pilot using his off-hand, his right, to accommodate the old ship he pilots. In his travels, Marian saw a lot of things, and found peace in writing poetry and casual smoking.

The pilot figured out his talent is in literature, but he lacked the education and money to become a full-time poet. His current job does not pay well in comparison to other pilots, and Marian turned to criminal activities to raise his funds to pursue a peaceful life. Marian quit his job as a pilot and smuggled himself around in search for well-paid work. His first criminal activity involved the robbery of the ship that became known as the Virgin's Cross on Coruscant.

With the Virgin's Cross, Marian traveled around, accepting mercenary jobs from dubious contractors. More than once, he escaped from double-crosses by his employers.
