Tatooine; Anchorhead - Mid Day

It had been a long time since his departure from Tatooine, but as the old saying stated, all roads led home. And here he was, once again upon its grizzled surface, no longer a boy, but home. Walking through the Spaceport toward the center of Anchorhead, Scorpio's glazed eyes floated across the latent visages his mind's eye caught in passing as the Force opened up minds and hearts for him to see. For Scorpio, it was a menial task, as much as it was an observance. But for others, the concept of his sight was as mysterious as it was frightening. There were those who could keep guard up around him, but for others, the ideology of his sight was invasive and outright rude. To know the intent and personality of others, however, was a clarifying experience. If, he even chose to see them at all.

Sitting down in a chair outside the local Cantina, a serving droid made it's approach. Scorpio wasn't much of a drinker, so he only ordered a humbled pint of moisture. He watched as Oof sprung around mischievously with the local fauna, thankful Hutt wasn't anywhere around to terrify the Droid, as he let the water cross his parched lips and slide elegantly down his throat. With a quick wipe of his sleeve, he let out a solemn "Ah" as he reveled in it's refreshment. He had forgotten the extreme heat and thirst of Tatooine compared to much of the rest of the Galaxy and how precious water truly was.

He pondered to his ship, having left it behind at the Spaceport for refueling and maintenance, and pondered how well Hutt was taking the strange droids coming and going from the ship, the Tooka Cat both mesmerized and terrified by any metallic life. One would think she would be used to it by now, with Oof being her favorite play thing, but she never grew accustomed to artificial life. But with his return to known space, he felt this would be an opportunistic moment to regain his lay of the land and gather needed supplies. As a former ward of Tatooine, it only felt right to begin his new journey here. And Tatooine's information highway wasn't a bad place to start in his journey to search for the Jedi.

Tossing a credit to the Droid, Scorpio down what remained of the moisture and headed out toward the merchant stalls, and more specifically, the Droid stalls to see if he could find a few spare parts for Oof and maybe even some others. One never could tell what you'd find when it came to the Jawas. And Anchorhead was full of them.

Aside from the overbearing heat and lack of water, Tatooine was a place he held dear to his heart. Just out there, across the Dune Sea, laid the remnants of his family's homestead, likely buried beneath its sands and forgotten to all but him. Even as he walked amongst the stalls, his mind wandered back to his childhood memories. Especially those of his mother and father, his younger brother Gemini, and his older sister, Virgo. There was an emptiness in his heart for them that nothing could ever fill, and for a brief moment, a tear streamed from his eye before drying beneath the sand that had settled upon his face. It felt good to reminisce, to remember. But he could not dwell on what could never be changed. Each day was a constant reminder to move forward, a reminder that would never be forgotten, a lesson painfully learnt.

Picking up a power cell, he glanced it over.

Before Agailia left Starlight Beacon the Council was clear, She was not to cause trouble of any kind on her mission to retrieve a lost padawan. The order had lost contact with Scorpio and his former master for some time, and with all that was going on in the galaxy, no one was ever sent to get him. It was also clear that the man was the same age as Agailia, it amazed the Jedi that he lasted so long without the support of his fellow Jedi, the order could use that kind of grit in the coming years. Being that he was on Tatooine Agailia did not dress down she kept herself dressed in the dark blue robes and merely put her hood up.

Taking a public shuttle to the planet made it easier to stay under the radar, without seeing her lightsaber she would look like any other Danteen Blademaiden to the undiscerning eye. Stepping off the transport Agailia reached out in the force to feel the ripple in the light that would be her new padawan. There was so much pain in the city that it made it hard at first to find a lead, but the light burned like white phosphorous in the darkness, burning away all corruption. Agailia was sure the young learner may not notice but just his presence in the force was affecting all the happenings around him. Debtors were given more time, guards were letting people off with warnings, and gangsters were waiting for children to leave the street before a fight. Agailia had studied for years how force users and more importantly force artifacts could affect the land around them. It made no difference if it was light or darkness, you did not need to be a Jedi to see the changes you merely had to pay attention.

Agailia approached the man as he examined a power cell, She could sense his heavy heart from across the market, and she could tell there was a reason he never came in on his own. There was a mixture of sadness and joy pouring out of this man, his family and his home were important to him, but he thought of those things like a dream of a dream. Agailia could relate, while it was the correct path, her joining the order permanently estranged herself from her people and family, They would tolerate her, but she would never again be truly one of them. Many things are sacrificed in the pursuit of knowledge and growth, and some of those things can never be replaced.

Walking up next to him Agailia began to sift through odds and ends being sold on the adjacent stall, and to her, it seemed like there were trinkets here from as far away as the core worlds. Everything ends up on Tatooine eventually, It was a saying her master had in years long passed, but it rang true still. “That cell is ruptured. They painted over the marks...” The face of the stall owner was both shocked and livid, but instead of getting angry, he started to make excuses. Agailia ignored him keeping her eyes on Scorpio, “You're a long way from home, don’t you think?” Agailia said slyly, She was not sure if the man's senses had dulled in his exile or if he could tell she was a Jedi, it was always best to take things slow.

There was a unmistakably disgruntled sigh as he placed the power cell back into the bin and lifted another, his mind's eye trying to interpret its condition more thoroughly as his silvered eyes shifted across it's form despite his apparent blindness. He spoke solemnly to the new arrival, his tone lonely and of despair. "I haven't had a home since I belonged to this world..." He placed it too back in the bin. "Or rather, was under it's care."

He could feel and see her presence in the Force, that much was for sure. Her overall appearance held a soft and humble glow about it, similar to that of his mother's and father's. But outside that, he held no knowledge of her being a Jedi, nor that the Council had mislabeled him as a Padawan rather than the son of a former Member. But that was likely a clerical error, as countless records were lost amidst the consuming wars that plagued the Galaxy. No, his life away from Tatooine was spent amongst the Luka Sene on Alpheridies, his mother's people. Up until this point, he was his father's legacy only in name.

Yet, he wanted to be more.

Despite the apparent despair and loneliness that he shown and presented, when his blind gaze shifted to meet her own, his smile and attentiveness was sincere and full of honesty. From beneath his smile, he spoke a question. "How can I help you, miss?" Just as he did though, Oof ran right into the man's leg and nearly into the stall as the Droid curled between his legs and it's photoscepter's gazed up at the two.

Reaching down and patting the droid's form, Scorpio apologized. "Forgive Oof. He's a bit of a clutz, and I don't have the heart to perform the necessary memory wipes."
