Wow... Completely different from what I thought... Perhaps I will buy this game after all if this is the end-product.

I have issues trusting EA, but this does look very promising. I'm a big fan of the Mass Effect series and the ending of number three was so disappointing that any new game is bound to be exciting.

For once, I'd like to play a character in a RPG who is not in the category of "The chosen one who will save the world/universe and is a natural born leader and every choice they do will change the universe".

For once, I'd like to play an alien.

I'm glad they're returning to the largely exploration-based formula. Mass Effect 1 had it, but it kinda tapered down in 2 and 3.

Mass Effect 1 had the vast exploration of planets, but other then the plot specific ones, they were all the exact same wasteland with mountains, just different color schemes and some weather added, with the occasional base or two that was the exact same as all the others, with just some doors locked and furniture moved around so it looked different.

Mass Effect 2 had less of it, but majority of planets started to become unique at the cost of exploration.

Did you see the mako is back? Finally, I can climb 80 degree inclines again!

I just liked petering around in the Mako. Probably the only one who did.

the Mako was OP, especially when you played an engineer. A shield-tanked....tank. That can jump.

Thing about the Mako, if anyone cared, all kills with it had a severe cut in XP you gained.

I don't want vast exploration if every area is going to be the exact same.

Dragon Age: Inquisition had a great exploration set up, same with a good dialogue system. I didn't like in Mass Effect 3 that Shepard more or less had a one sided personality, no doubt due to dialogue choices cut down to just two most of the time.

I've honestly never understood the Mako hate. It never felt wonky to me, though that may be because I saw it as an uber-upscale dunebuggy or Warthog.

I'm going to do the same thing I did with Dragon Age Inquisition when it had its survey leaked. Wait for it to be confirmed true, or wait to see what information changes as production goes on and the final release date, whenever that is, gets closer.

This is months old news, which actually lends a lot of credence to this being legitimate.

The biggest smoking gun is the purported setting, the Helios Cluster in the Andromeda Galaxy. That much was confirmed by Bioware at the announcement, and the trailer certainly emphasised exploration and colonization; why else would they include Johnny Cash in the trailer?

Because Johnny Cash's music is win?
