Coolio I'm down! I like the 2 teams trying to get some kind of mcguffin. Maybe find some reaper stuff or just prothean stuff along the way.

I'd like it to be more of a race than full on antagonistic.

Really hate to disappoint you folks but after some thought I don’t think I have enough motivation to do another PvP at this time. Sincerely wish you all fun with this idea but I have to bow out. My apologies for this disappointment.

What Reyn said. The point is to figure out and do something that everyone is comfortable with. Just some conflict between the characters would be nice (seeing how we'd probably have a diverse bunch). I definitely didn't want a "proper" competitive PVP either.

Here's an idea for a setup where we could all work together as opposed to being PVP. Since Charndley mentioned earlier the possibility of being a colony-type, we could have it take place on a backwater colony in the Terminus. Let's say the colonists discover some ruins, be they Prothean or the remains of a battlefield from a previous cycle fighting with the Reapers. Now everyone in the galaxy is taking interest in the colony. The Council is sending operatives to investigate, as well as various local warlords from the Terminus. Tensions are high and the colonists in particular are mistrustful of everyone since they know what happened on Eden Prime after they found a Prothean artifact. Our characters could get into a sort of Seven Samurai situation where we end up defending the colony from all these external forces.

And we can still have some rivalry within our group itself as we'd all be coming from different backgrounds with different motivations for being there.

Sure we could fit an STG member in, welcome aboard!

So @Catbert @Minuteman75 @Topher Ridge @Lydeck we seem to be in agreement on the Colony setup. Once we have confirmation on whether or not @Charndley is still interested I'll set up a separate thread for Character sheets/dice rolls if we use any. And then we can get started. That sound good to everyone?

No problem at all, we're in this to have fun and want to make sure everyone is comfortable with the setup. I've made a separate thread detailing the setting, you all should have been tagged but I'll link it here to be sure.
