BIOGRAPHY
Micheal Harda is a former mercenary whose life has been nothing but hardships. From his birth into a poor family on Chardaan to his adoption into a failing Deucalian clan at age seven. He scrapped and clawed his way through piracy and society to make a name for himself, gaining enough fame and infamy to run for governor of his homeworld by age 39. After running Chardaan, and using his office to acquire a majority stake in the orbital works, for ten years, he entered 'retirement' and focused his efforts solely on running the shipyards.
After a few years running the shipyards, he lost control of his majority stake in an ill-fated encounter with a pair of Jedi disguised as businessmen. Although he lost his controlling ownership, he remained CEO as the Jedi put their financial weight behind his experience to keep him in charge. While he resents losing his ownership rights, he respects the Jedi for their manner of obtaining them. He sees Jedi as pirates, but with governmental legitimacy, and believes in the idea of building the FDME up to be something similar.
Personality
Like most Deucalians, even those not running with a clan, Micheal lets the rules of the clan dictate much of his life. He follows clan law and does his best to be an upstanding member of society. That aside, he's also a rough, controlling, manipulative character. Although easily influenced by alcohol, recent events have caused him to swear off drinking during any business deals. At heart, he's a lover and wishes for nothing more than to romance a strapping young man. Though he fears his age has long since moved that time into the past.
