The MIcrophone of Javul Charn
"Are you somebody I should know?"
"Only if you're breathing."

The Microphone of Javul Charn was an antique and presumably highly-valued object from the New Republic era. Javul Charn was a notable holostar and member of the Rebellion. Once she rose to galactic stardom, the celebrity helped the Alliance smuggle objects and individuals on her luxury ship on her touring campaigns. Following the fall of the Empire, she could not be found and her last known location was Alderaan so it is speculated that the star perished along with the planet. The microphone, however, found its way back home and is likely stored in a Coruscanti Music & Entertainment Group warehouse somewhere.
Overview
Javul Charn's early life is unclear but it is known that she spent some part of her childhood on Nar Shaddaa with her parents and her brother. Born to a veteran of the Republic Navy who became a musician with his wife to hide an undercover front for the Alliance to smuggle weapons and people and receive information from cells deep within Imperial territory. Her parents were killed when she was a teenager, and when she grew up, Javul took the same path her parents did, signing up to join the Alliance. She had a brief stint on the Corellian circuit as a performer named Alai Jance, the daughter of a Nar Shaddaa pirate. There, she met her husband, Hityamun Kris, a Mandalorian working for the Black Sun.
The two traveled the Galaxy together until it was found out that Kris was using his wife's ship to smuggle sentient beings and narcotics, as well as high-interest individuals, through Imperial space for cartels or his own interest. The two divorced, and Javul continued her career, singer by day, rebel operative by night.
She used this microphone for most of her touring career, and this object has seen more worlds than the average spacer. Covered with a thin coat of 24k gold and made of durasteel, it looks just like any other pop star's microphone one would assume. However, the durasteel has traces of phrik, making it allegedly lightsaber resistant. The rumors have some truth to a degree, however the microphone is, regardless, completely useless in a fight and not lightsaber resistant. Don't tell the masses that.
Javul disappeared after the Imperial destruction of Alderaan, but her microphone found its way back to Coruscant, where her agency--Coruscanti Music & Entertainment Group--stowed it away. It was lost, presumably in some warehouse, but the one to retrieve it likely has a sizeable fortune coming their way.
Estimated value: 8 million credits.

To add a piece of lore to the site that can be used by Senate and other non-combat characters for threads. This gives Senate PCs the opportunity to do something besides having conversations, and even opens the door to Five Syndicate PCs to earn some money and prestige.
