BIOGRAPHY
[beebox3=500px]Rä, the fourth and youngest sibling born to the Mirrsh family of House Sabosen, was raised on the planet Sposia- one of the Chiss Ascendancies oldest colony worlds and home to many of it's most respected institutes of medicine and higher learning. Mirrsh'rä'sabosen's mother serves as a respected Professor at Scocia's largest Medical School, and her father (now retired) once held the position of Chief Justiciar of the Expansionary Territories. Owing to their parents reputations and sense of duty to turn their children into future leaders, Shräsa, her brother Shyryyn, and her sisters Shinosa and Shatasa we're raised in a highly strict and disciplined environment- even by Chiss standards. Shräsa proved at a young age to be especially inquisitive about all manner of topics, and after reading through stacks of data, would often come home and debate the subjects she was studying with her parents. While her brother endeavored to become an officer with the Nuruodu House in the Expeditionary Defense Fleet, and her sisters began careers in Academia, as an adult Shräsa alone chose to follow her fathers path in the Justiciars- guarding the law, order, and discipline that Chiss hold sacred.

The edges of the Ascendancy are still a wild, untamed region ripe for piracy and slave raids let by both aliens and exiled Chiss. The eldest and youngest Mirrsh siblings both received their first postings in this environment, and by the time Shräsa joined him Shyryyn was already well on his way to becoming a respected and decorated officer in the Expeditionary Fleet. For a long time, the Mirrsh siblings served side by side in this chaotic space, fighting back with the hammer of the fleet and the scalpel of frontier justice. But not everyone handles the struggle the same way, and when faced with horrific scenes some people respond violently. For yet unknown reasons, Shyryyn's phalanx suddenly tore a bloody path through every pirate port in range of Chiss space and didn't stop there, blasting it's way deep into the unknown regions outside Ascendency space.

Faced with the prospect of a rogue Phalanx, the Ascendency's ruling families dispatched pursuing phalanxes and a task force of justiciars to apprehend and bring to justice the Phalanx's officers and end their killing spree. Faced with her families imminent disgrace at her brothers betrayal, Shräsa volunteered for this task force. Only by bringing her brother to justice can Shräsa clear her families name from disgrace. As the Rogue Phalanx pulled further away from Chiss space and the Task Force began to lose the trail, Shräsa took the last option left to her for bringing her brother to justice and clearing her families name- self imposed exile. Someone had to be free to track down the rogues.

Years of hunting down no-name bounties and small fish led her to the Mandalorians. While they didn't have her same predilection towards first strikes, they did share her disdain of treason, thievery, and other dishonorable conduct. Graciously welcomed into a new people, she found brothers and sisters more than happy to help her track her biological kin, though her goals never seemed to come to fruition. For now, Shrasa stalks the spacelanes with her new family, hoping for any sign or scent of her long lost brother.

Personality and Skills

Shräsa's defining feature has always been her inquisitive nature and eagerness to learn, explore, and push her own boundaries. She lacks much of the overly cautious nature that most Chiss possess, and she is far more willing to leap before she looks, for better or worse. While Shräsa still makes meticulous plans purely out of habit, she also abandons them seemingly on a whim. This sometimes sets her at odds with her ideal image of herself and the discipline that her parents and her society raised her to believe in. She loves learning about both art and philosophy, and is especially fascinated by the Force and its attendant religions.

Her father's personal instruction and her formal training in the Justiciars give Shräsa a respectable resume as both a reliable fighter and a thorough investigator. She has found herself quite adept at tracking and apprehending fugitives and bounties across the Unknown Regions and the fringes of the Outer Rim, and is becoming eager to test her skills deeper in the Galaxy at large. She specializes in going after criminals who have committed crimes especially prejudicial to good public order and her own sense of propriety- murderers, national traitors, and thieves. Shräsa much prefers to bring her targets in alive, valuing real justice (including fair trials) over retribution and revenge.

While many Chiss would consider her quite outgoing and friendly- even if her humor is on the sarcastic and antagonistic side- most outsiders and aliens see her as aloof or even anti-social. This mostly stems from the natural Chiss mistrust of all non-Chiss who have not proven themselves to her in some personal way. Anyone getting through this initial trust-space-lane-block would find her energetic and inquisitive. While in public, Shräsa tends to stick to the fringes, disguising her more distinctive features, her native tongue, and her intentions, and is often content to let other mistake her for one of the more common blue skinned humanoids (like Pantorans) that occupy the galaxy. She tends to be naïve when it comes to the thought processes of non-Chiss, and is consistently surprised at the alarming regularity with which other species commit heinous crimes and betrayals.

Finally, Shräsa struggles to manage her finances. Though she is well versed in mathematics, due to the Ascendancy government being entirely socialistic and providing everything its citizens need, the concept of an economy rooted in the exchange of credits is entirely foreign and difficult to process, and she constantly grapples with the sudden need to "earn a living". This problem has largely been solved by her joining up with the Mandalorians, who are more than happy to help her support her personal crusade.

Equipment
[beebox3=500px]Working against the inherent lack of resources in her mission, Shräsa has used the only means of self sustainment available to her- bounty hunting- to obtain weapons, armor, and equipment to aid in the task of apprehending her own brother. Every new item is a struggle to acquire, and resources are always scarce. Shräsa's armament currently includes;

Equipment wish list:

[*] "S-455"- A refurbished F105 forensic drone that has certainly seen better days. Sold from Sector Ranger stocks as the organization was dismantled, this early versions sensors are not as advanced and its range shorter than newer models and its shell is decorated with an eclectic mix of dents and scrapes, but it is still determined to functions investigative workhorse. This particular unit has been fitted with a simple vocabulator, and a portion of its forensic collection memory has been dedicated to language software (Basic, Huttese, Sy-Bisti, and several other popular galactic languages), allowing it to function as a crude and limited protocol droid in addition to communicating more efficiently with it's organic partner. It's been awhile since the droids memory was wiped, and its sassy dark-humor personality is fitting for its Law Enforcement analyst roots.

[*] TG-3 Tangle gun, perfect in situations that call for being sticky.

I learn things sometimes. I got new art though, so you might want to double check- I obviously can't be trusted.
