It was a wonder Emryc managed to leave his room at all. Jaikus arching back with his arms above his head and the lip biting was enough to make him want to just stay in bed for several more hours. Instead he applied those desires when they were in the shower, though he was caught off guard by his partner. There was a clear look of surprise on his face as Jaikus abruptly pinned him against the wall, the half Sephi not used to such boldness from others. It was oddly exhilarating, and there was a subtle glint of yellow in his eyes during. His body betrayed almost immediately just how much he liked Jaikus shifting the dynamics between them. The kiss from Jaikus was met with hungry desire, ending with a bite on his bottom lip and tugging as the man pulled away.

Emryc’s hand had traveled down Jaikus’ torso, sliding down to feel the other man and push him against his own body and burning desire. That same hand released and moved to curl into the Axxilan’s hair as he continued his path down. Emryc tilted his head back, gazing up at the ceiling as he exhaled.

He was more than content by the time they exited the shower and Jaikus would be as well. While Jaikus worked on clean shaving, Emryc adjusted the comb on his trimmer to cut his scruff down enough for a bit of stubble. Though he used to be clean shaven, for the past few years he liked his stubble now. Plus, he saw his ‘hottest hunks in the galaxy’ rankings go up since he kept the stubble.

As he trimmed his beard and stared at himself, he wondered if his partner ever saw those ridiculous lists or tabloids about him. What did he make of them? Or that he had a fanclub filled with men and women that obsessed over him to an unhealthy degree? He was pulled out of his thoughts when his partner spoke.

“Just making that executive decision, huh?” He said with a grin in response to Jaikus’ comment about staying as long as possible. He couldn’t keep the affection out of his tone, grinning especially as the Axxilan quipped about showing up randomly. It was one of the most welcome things in his life since Jaikus started the trend.

Emryc reached over and playfully wiped some shaving cream on Jaikus’ nose, “Hm, there, you’re all disguised,” He said before he turned to continue with his trimming.

“I have a few diplomatic visits to the Core coming up,” He paused after a moment to rinse off his face, “I’ll be set up in a Coruscant hotel if you want to stop by. I’ll be stuck there for several weeks.”

Emryc finished up after a while, angling his face in different directions and rubbing his fingers over the hair. He glanced over at Jaikus flashing a half grin, “What do you think?” He pointed to his stubble, “Make you want to climb me?” He asked without an ounce of shame.

There was a clear look of satisfaction and content on Jaikus’ face when he stepped out of the shower, mirroring the one that was plastered on his partner. It was a miracle the pair had made it out of the bedroom to begin with, and Jaikus didn’t waste any time in pouncing his partner as soon as they were within the shower. His burning desires and passions manifested in every bold gesture as he dove low, teasing and maneuvering in the ways that drove his partner wild.

True to his nature, the Axxilan never paid any mind to the concept of predefined roles or stereotypes that others might’ve had. There had been no hesitation to pin Emryc in place against the shower wall, meeting that look of surprise with a wide grin. He enjoyed taking turning the tables and taking charge in his own way, and from the way Emryc’s body shifting during, he knew his partner did as well.

When the pair finally emerged, Jaikus immediately went to work on his face. Once his features were sufficiently lathered with cream, Jaikus lifted the razor and began to drawn it down his cheek and jawline, removing the dark stubble that had begun to grow in. The Axxilan always preferred to keep himself clean-shaven, and this was probably the most facial hair Emryc had seen on him since they met.

He paused mid-way through his shaving, taking a moment to glance to his partner. The stubble was something Jaikus had grown exceptionally fond of on his partner –

While the true influence and extent of the fanclub was largely a mystery to Jaikus, he had nevertheless seen all of the lists and tabloids that Emryc seemed to frequently appear on – that familiar stubble gracing the pages and covers of multiple magazines. The half-Sephi would probably never know that Jaikus had, on multiple occasions, glanced through the pages of ‘hottest hunks in the galaxy’ for the sole purpose of finding his handsome face.

“Damn right.” Jaikus quipped back when Emryc spoke, a large grin flashing across his features. His tone was playful and yet definitive – and the half-Sephi would know immediately that Jaikus was entirely serious about both staying with him as long as possible, as well as showing up randomly. It was a trend that dated all the way back to Telos, fond memories now attached to each and every sudden appearance.

Jaikus couldn’t but let out a characteristic fit of giggles when Emryc playfully wiped some of the shaving cream onto his nose, a few loud snorts accompanying his laughter the moment he caught a glance of himself in the foggy mirror. “Perfect.” The Axxilan grinned, allowing the cream to remain on his nose for a few minutes as he went back to shaving. He not-so-subtly drew a bit of the cream from his face, playfully flicking it to speckle in Emryc’s beard.

The Axxilan finished shaving and rinsed the excess cream from his angular features, returning to the clean-shaven look that the half-Sephi had come to know other the course of months. He brought up a warm towel to his cheeks, pressing it to his face while Emryc spoke.

“Then I’ll be right there with you, babe.” He declared, a smile brushing his lips. It had been some time since Jaikus last visited the Core, and the Axxilan already seemed to brighten at the prospect of spending a few weeks around his partner. He took a few more minutes to meticulously finger comb his hair and preen until he was satisfied.

Jaikus couldn’t help but smile mischievously when Emryc asked his shameless question, bringing the faintest tinge of red to his cheek. “Dashing as always.” He turned and brought lift his hand, drawing it across the short-cropped hair on his partner’s jaw while glancing up at his hair. “It does. Among a long list of other things.” His grin grew a bit wider, leaning forward to kiss his partner’s cheek. He leaned a bit farther, zeroing in on the half-Sephi’s fluted ear and giving it a little nibble. “Plenty of other surfaces to put to the test.” He whispered against that ear, exhaling softly. “Those countertops, for instance. They seem just about as sturdy as any boulder.” Jaikus spoke without a hint of shame or hesitation, making clear reference to their encounter atop the floating mountaintop.

He grinned wickedly before drawing away, gesturing for Emryc to follow him back down the hall. The Axxilan strode into the main lounge of the ship once again, finding his pack still lazily placed against the wall. Jaikus allowed the towel to fall off his waist, taking the time to neatly fold the item before turning his attention to his pack, taking an unnecessary amount of time to pick his clothes.

After a few minutes, Jaikus finished getting dressed – slipping into a pair of black dress pants and a tightly fitting olive-green shirt. “Should be landing soon, I think.” He called back to his partner just as he finished buttoning the last few on his shirt.

Those giggles from Jaikus brought a smile from the half Sephi without fail every single time. The snorting made his ears twitch, and it was especially endearing with the shaving cream still smeared on his nose. The dynamic shifted, of course, when Jaikus leaned in and ran fingers against the stubble on Emryc’s face. The half Sephi was silent as his partner spoke, his hot breath brushing against a sensitive ear causing him to suddenly feel weak. Jaikus knew exactly what he was doing, and it worked on him every time.

Emryc watched as Jaikus stepped away, following the man out into the hallway. His mind was already in the clouds, his gaze tracing down the length of Jaikus’ back and the graceful arches of his body. The half Sephi paused as the Axxilan casually shrugged off the towel, taking his time rummaging through his bag. Emryc was left standing behind him, admiring him and watching him practically flaunt himself.

Without warning, Jaikus was abruptly pinned against the wall adjacent to him, Emryc moving in behind him. He reached down to shrug off his own towel, leaning his face in close to Jaikus’ ear, “Think I’m going to just let you prance around like that without doing something about it?” His baritone rumbled almost in a low growl as his body pressed against Jaikus’. He grasped both of Jaikus’ arms, pinning them above his head against the wall with him still facing it.

Though things only progressed rapidly from there, both men lost track of the ship’s impending exit from hyperspace as they neared the refueling station. Emryc was nowhere near the ship terminal when the alarms began to blare to warn about the jump. In fact, Emryc was very close to reaching an entirely different destination before the annoying alarms killed that journey abruptly. The half Sephi was facing his partner who was pinned against the wall now looking at him. Emryc’s arms were locked under bronze legs in ways that truly tested the Axxilan’s flexibility, palms pressed against the wall behind Jaikus. There was a comical look on the half Sephi’s face as his eyes went completely wide from the alarm.

“Shit,” He muttered as he gingerly attempted to set Jaikus down and draw back. He barely managed to get Jaikus back down to his feet before both men were launched down the length of the hallway from the jump out of hyperspace. Emryc landed with a heavy thud, Jaikus toppling above him. He unceremoniously rolled the Axxilan to the side, “My bad, babe,” He muttered quickly before rapidly scrambling to his feet and bolting towards the cockpit as the ship switched back to manual controls. A stream of profanity trailed behind the naked half sephi as he practically launched himself into the cockpit.

Jaikus couldn’t help but smile lovingly at his partner, glancing up in-between his giggles to catch sight of the half-Sephi’s smile and the way his ears twitched and swiveled. It didn’t seem to matter what he was doing, the movements of those fluted ears always causing his face to animate with all the joy and glee in the galaxy. The mood quickly changed when Emryc asked his shameless question, and Jaikus knew exactly what he was doing.

He leaned in, whispering against Emryc’s ear and nibbling against the fluted lobe. He pinpointed that little weakness long ago, zeroing in on it teasing in all the ways he knew would make the half-Sephi weak before abruptly pulling away and moving down the hall. The Axxilan allowed the towel to slip off his waist, fully on display for his partner as he spent an unnecessary amount of time digging through his pack, bending over with his back to the half-Sephi. Emryc likely already knew there was a mischievous grin on his lips.

He barely had time to pick out the dress pants and shirt when Emryc abruptly pounced, pinning him to the nearby wall. Jaikus flashed a grin and looked back towards Emryc, a renewed glint in those emerald eyes. “You caught me.” He growled the words, a soft groan escaping from his lips when Emryc pinned his arms, enjoying that gesture far more than the half-Sephi probably realized. “Why don’t you show me what you’re going to do about it.” The Axxilan pressed his hips back against his partner’s waist, grinding against the half-Sephi.

Jaikus was largely oblivious to his surroundings in the minutes that followed. He didn’t realize just how close to the refueling station they were at this point, and the only noises he paid attention to were the ones emanating from the hallway they occupied. The Axxilan adapted to the creative new position easily enough - suddenly very grateful for being as flexible as he was.

The Axxilan tilted his head back against the wall, gazing up at the ceiling. It was clear that the Axxilan reaching his peak, a sudden urgency in his breath while his fingernails drew a path of light red scratches along Emryc’s back. Any build up was sufficiently ruined when they both abruptly stopped, the alarms suddenly audible through the entire ship. He blinked a few times, staring at Emryc’s wide-eyed expression.

“It never fails..” Jaikus couldn’t help but grumble under his breath, exceptionally annoyed by being interrupted at quite literally the most annoying moment. The Axxilan was gingerly placed back onto the ground by his partner, taking a split second to himself on his feet. Just as he did so, the ship abruptly yanked out of hyperspace – sending Jaikus tumbling down the hall like a ragdoll above Emryc. He blinked a few times, looking up from the ground as Emryc scrambled to his feet and bolted towards the cockpit.

The Axxilan watched Emryc from that angle for a few moments longer than necessary before he reminded himself to actually get up.

He scrambled to his feet and dashed towards the cockpit, not bothering with his clothes as he ran. When the Axxilan finally burst into the room, Emryc was already behind the controls – manually guiding the ship now that the auto-pilot was no longer handling things. Visible through the transparisteel windshield was the refueling station that they had set a course for. It was little more than a spaceport carved into the surface of a large asteroid, several cargo ships and random vessels crammed into the busy port to refuel and stock on supplies. There were a handful of little shops and diners that filled the spaceport, glowing signs indicating their presence.
