Description

With the scattering of the Shadow Conclave nigh, the faction’s armoursmiths forged a final variation of the Obscurus line, the Mark V, for the Reclusiarch to wear as he continues his sacred duty.

The suit is primarily comprised of an underlying armourweave and nomex bodyglove, with plates of scatterweave-coated durasteel and duraplast covering the torso area as well as large portions of the arms and legs. The knee and elbow plates are forged with phrik so as to ward off a single lightsaber strike in those areas. The cloak, attached at the shoulders, is fairly larger than a standard cape, in order to cover the entire body so as to cover the black armour beneath.

Intent

As the Shadow Conclave was archived and the previous “Mantle” armour along with it, I decided to do a final variation of the armour design for its last remaining member that was wearing it beforehand and would logically still continue to do so. All its previous Functions were removed, in addition to its unique ability to swap between light, medium, or heavy coverage.

Is this just a reskin of the other armor you submitted?

Oh, not intentionally. I can change the stats up or remove a feature if necessary.

Since they're basically the same function and protection wise, my recommendation is to get one approved for general use and post the other as a generitech reskin in the workshop. That way the tech boards aren't cluttered with "unique" armors that are functionally identical.

Edit: I see now that one is heavy and one is medium. Other than that, my point still stands.

Post edit edit: Also, please stick to the official template on all of your submissions.

Understandable, in that case you can archive this. I'll update the Ironwood and the Scatter laser with their proper templates in a bit.
