  • 1x Long-range communication suite.

DESCRIPTION
A reminder of her days in the Royal Naboo Starfighter Corps, Jedi Celesté Naberrie owns a modified N-1 starfighter that she was allowed to keep following her departure from the Corps to join the Order while she was still quite young. For much of its flight life, it was an ordinary N-1 starfighter. However, during Celesté's Barash from the Jedi Order, she had the ship modified to fit her tastes and sensibilities and also to reflect what she believed a Jedi starfighter should be.

The modified N-1 features a chromium-plated titanium hull that highly resembles the royal transports used by some monarchs of Naboo, setting it apart from the iconic yellow hulls sported by ordinary N-1s. This purely cosmetic modification was made to distinguish Celesté's N-1 from those still in use by the Royal Naboo Starfighter Corps and prevent any misunderstanding that the Jedi Order has any connection to Naboo. Additionally, Celesté had the ship stripped of its medium blaster cannons in favor of a pair of medium ion cannons for disabling potential enemy vessels. She believed this to be more in line with the Jedi code of only killing as a last resort. For instances when deadly force is necessary, her N-1 still features a proton missile silo, containing up to six deadly missiles.

Finally, Celesté had the starfighter's shield quality upgraded from light to medium. While this cost her N-1 some of its trademark speed, it increased the amount of punishment the ship could take if space combat was initiated, while conserving enough speed for a quick escape if necessary. The starfighter still maintains its high-quality maneuverability making it excellent for dogfights.

LEGALITY
Restricted. N-1s are starfighters, and are subject to extra licensing requirements and increased scrutiny by authorities.

INTENT
To provide a write-up for Celesté Naberrie's modified N-1 starfighter should it come up in future threads and entanglements.

Vex's Double-Bladed Lightsaber

AFFILIATION
Sith Empire.

MANUFACTURER
Vex.

SIZE
Hilt - 49.5 centimeters.

WEIGHT
Approx. 3 kilograms each.

COMPOSITION
Durasteel.
WEAPON TYPE
Double-bladed lightsaber.

DAMAGE TYPE
Melee.

KYBER CRYSTAL
Two (2) bled Dantari crystals.

BLADE COLOR
Red.

MAX RANGE
Reach.

DESCRIPTION
The chosen and personally-designed weapon of the Sith known only as Vex. The hilt is fashioned from durasteel that has been stained black to give it the appearance (but not the brittle frailty) of obsidian. The weapon is powered by two Dantari kyber crystals that have been bled to dye the color of the lightsaber's blade red. The weapon has also been heavily personalized by its crafter. For instance, the hilt features two activation switches near the center of the pommel. This allows Vex to activate one blade at a time or both at once.

Thanks to this feature, Vex is capable of using her saberstaff as a single-bladed weapon with a longer reach (thanks to the length of its hilt) until she needs the second blade. It also means that she can strategically activate and deactivate different sides of her weapon in combat with only a flick of her finger. The lightsaber also features a switch that, when activated, switches the blades into a low-power, non-lethal setting for use in training or sparring.

LEGALITY
Restricted. Lightsabers are heavily scrutinized and are typically only found in the possession of trained Force-users, particularly those in the Jedi and Sith Orders. They are legal wherever lightsabers are legal.

INTENT
To provide a write-up for Vex's lightsabers should it come up in future threads and entanglements.

NalTech

  • Information

    NalTech
(short for "Nalju Technologies") is an intergalactic conglomerate run by the heirs to House Nalju on Serenno. The company operates primarily in starship manufacturing, as the Naljus are known as famous shipwrights, but has also branched out into military-grade weaponry, armor, and cloning technology.

Currently, NalTech is smaller than competitors such as Kuat Drive Yards (KDY) and Blackwell Technologies (BT). This is owed to a lack of access to larger shipyards, such as those found on Kuat and Fondor, and a recent corporate scandal that saw hopeful competitors stage a corporate takeover of the company, executing its previous chair and most of his family. However, the company has recently set its sights on expanding its ventures and horizons.

    History

Nalju Technologies was initially formed during the High Republic Era as Nalju Steel by Meraxes Nalju, then the head of a small merchant family on Serenno. Through a series of questionable deals with the Serenno government, Meraxes was able to corner the planet's durasteel industry and drive his competitors out of business. As the company grew, Meraxes put his training as a shipwright to use, evolving the company into a ship manufacturer that used newly acquired durasteel to produce protective fighters for the Serenno Defense Forces.

During the Great Hyperspace Disaster, Serenno contracted Meraxes' corporation to further fortify the planet's defenses against potential attacks by the Nihil marauders. These contracts grossly enriched the Nalju merchant clan, who rebranded themselves as House Nalju and were officially recognized by the Count of Serenno as the planet's newest noble family for their contributions to its defense. Likewise, Nalju Steel rebranded itself into NalTech and began expanding into a variety of military technologies.

Centuries later, Nalju Technologies sided with the Confederacy of Independent Systems when Serenno fell under the leadership of Count Dooku, secretly Darth Tyrannus. The company created a subsidiary to assist the Trade Federation and Commerce Guilds in the production of battle droids for the Separatist war effort. When Dooku lost the Clone Wars, NalTech narrowly avoided destruction under the new Galactic Empire by agreeing to manufacture arms and ships for the newly crowned Emperor Palpatine.

NalTech was one of many arms corporations who sold to both sides of the First Order-Resistance conflict. And when Palpatine was defeated again, they sought to fill a gap left in the galactic economy by the Kaminoans by investigating cloning technology, though this subsidiary never quite took off and officially was closed down before the emergence of a new Sith Empire from the Unknown Regions.
  • Structure

Nalju Technologies produces arms and equipment for smaller planetary militias under its own name. Its products are mostly designed for planetary defense forces rather than average citizens. It also possesses a number of subsidiaries with their own unique structures for more specialized projects, though the Chair of NalTech's board can pool resources and join them for projects if necessary.

    Subsidiaries

NalTomation (short for "Nalju Automation") was formed during the Clone Wars and deals mainly in droid technology, including battle droids for small planetary militias and legal droid upgrades that can assist in customizing its droid projects. It also has a limited line of protocol droids and astromechs.

NalShips (short for "Nalju Shipwrights") was the first subsidiary of the original Nalju Steel and mainly produces customized starships. Though it originally was formed to create starfighters and other small ordinance ships for planetary navies, these days, it mainly takes custom orders for wealthy and private individuals looking to travel the galaxy in style.

NR&D (short for "Nalju Research & Development) is the science division of Nalju Technologies, responsible for researching all of its major technological products. The mega-corporation's failed cloning subsidiary was folded into this division sometime after the Battle of Exegol, though research into cloning continues under wraps at NR&D.

Nalju Technologies also has a small subsidiary that handles the shipping of its products through freighters and the occasional smuggler when necessary.

Raith Tarkin
SITH CHAMPION during the Force Eternal timeline

Age: 31 ⦿ Species: Human (Eraidu) ⦿ Height: 1.85 m ⦿ Weight: 75 kilos ⦿ Theme

PAST
ySY0pI4.jpg

Raith Tarkin, who like other male members of his family often simply goes by Tarkin except for with his superiors, is a descendant of the infamous Tarkin family from the jungle world of Eriadu.

Per family tradition, he spent three weeks on the Carrion Plateau to prove his ability to survive. During his time near the Carrion Spike, he was injured by a veermok, leaving a series of scars across the left side of his face. It was also during this incident that he learned of his Force-sensitivity. Refusing to surrender him to the Jedi Order, Raith's family sent him to the Sith Eternal cult through old Imperial connections they still maintained. There, he was inducted into the ways of the dark side of the Force.

Like his distant ancestor, Wilhuff Tarkin, Raith took an interest in galactic politics and also the Sith military. When the Eternal cult shifted and transformed into the Sith Empire, he took to studying military customs. Upon reaching the right age, he also rerolled in the University of Phelar to study political science in the hopes of serving as an Imperial diplomat. His graduation coincided with his promotion from a mere Acolyte to a Sith Champion. Sometime afterwards, his homeworld of Eriadu was taken by Jedi insurgents. He has since sworn revenge on every Jedi involved and dedicated himself to returning it to the fold.

Abilities
wHuihxF.jpg

As with many men of the Tarkin family, Raith is a skilled and experienced hunter, capable of tracking both game and people. As a Sith, he has translated this skillset into becoming a skilled tracker, hunting down the Empire's enemies and fugitives from Imperial justice.

A Force-sensitive, Raith has developed a number of abilities. He is a powerful telekinetic, and it is one of his favored techniques. He has also earned a distasteful nickname among his peers as the "Empire's bloodhound" for his ability to sense whether or not someone is lying or telling the truth to him. His ability is limited around those who have special training to shield their minds from intrusions, but common people have a difficult time hiding their secrets from him. Stemming from the same power, Raith is also a talented telepath, capable of bridging two minds in close proximity to allow for telepathic communication.

He wields a double-bladed lightsaber and is trained to use it well, though he is most commonly seen using it in its single-bladed configuration. Raith is uncharacteristically fond of lightsaber duels and is known to relish the challenge they bring. His fighting style has been criticized for being cautious and, at times, conniving, but he finds the lumbering brutality of most Sith warriors to be distasteful and uncivilized.

Equipment

1x Double-bladed red lightsaber
1x NalPhone
Upsilon III-class command shuttle

Family

As a member of Eriadu's infamous Tarkin family, Raith Tarkin has a considerable lineage as well as a number of extant family members active in the galaxy:

Wilhuff Tarkin (paternal ancestor, deceased)
+ Rudolf Tarkin (elder brother, NPC)*
+ Sarai Tarkin (sister-in-law, NPC)*
+ Wilhelm Tarkin (nephew, @LouJoVi)

*Credit goes to @LouJoVi for the two NPC family members—Rudolf and Sarai Tarkin—they created them first.

False Code Cylinder

AFFILIATION
Imperial Security Bureau.

MANUFACTURER
NalTech.

TYPE
Poison delivery device.

SIZE
Length - 13 centimeters.

WEIGHT
10 grams.

COMPOSITION
Stainless inoxium.
WEAPON TYPE
Melee.

DAMAGE TYPE
Melee.

AMMUNITION CAPACITY
1 dose of chosen poison.

FIRE SELECTOR
N/A.

MAX RANGE
Arm's reach.

DESCRIPTION
A weapon originally employed by agents of the First Order and later secretly produced exclusively for the Imperial Security Bureau by NalTech, 'false' code cylinders look like the real thing in every way. In reality, they are cleverly designed syringes capable of delivering a single dosage of potent, fast-acting toxin to the wielder's target.

The data interface on the original code cylinder has been replaced by a thing, sharp needle, hidden inside the main body of the cylinder that can be extended for use by pressing hard on the blue activator with the thumb, much like a common pen. Once extended, the needle need only be inserted (or stabbed) into the delivery area for the contents of the cylinder to be expelled into the host body. After that, the cylinder is rendered useless until it is refilled.

Popularized by First Order naval agent Tritt Opan, the false code cylinder is a favorite weapon of the Imperial Security Bureau, particularly those in the Imperial Peacekeepers, as a means of swiftly and quietly dealing with problematic targets. Officers may also load a cylinder with a fast-acting poison as a means of painlessly committing suicide should they be captured by a powerful enemy.

LEGALITY
Illegal. Members of the Imperial Security Bureau may carry these weapons, but those outside the Bureau caught with them would almost surely be arrested and imprisoned due to the highly deceptive and lethal nature of the weapon in question.

RESTRICTIONS
Members of the Imperial Security Bureau may freely use these. Those outside would need to obtain one in the story, or craft one themselves. The NalTech variety are a secret project sold only to the ISB and otherwise would be hard to obtain and invite increased scrutiny on the wielder.

INTENT
To add to Nalju Technologies's catalogue and bring a canon weapon into the site canon.

Amulet of Glamour

Description

The Amulet of Glamour is a Sith artifact that was created and enchanted by the Sith Master Vex under the guidance of the Empress Darth Andruil. It is an artifact based on the Empress' Amulet of Disguise, serving similar purposes.

Effects
VivESSy.jpg

Upon activation (which can be done by simply touching the pendant), the amulet is capable of generating a realistic illusion that encompasses the wearer and the wearer only.

When activated, the illusion is capable of disguising its wearer by altering many of their physical attributes. It can change their eyes, hair, skin color, and clothing, permitting them to walk about in public without being recognized as their true selves. It can also alter their presenting species so long as that species is humanoid or anatomically comparable to a human — it cannot alter the size, shape, or weight of the wearer.

The amulet can only hold a single illusionary enchantment at a time. A new one can be programmed in a matter of minutes, provided the wearer has access to the Force. Since Vex had experienced having Jedi attempt to rob her of her disguise, two protective enchantments have also been inlaid into the amulet. The first disguises any small dark side aura that might be given off by the magic creating the artifact. The second sears the hands and fingers of anyone who would try to remove the amulet from her person without her permission, with the burning effect ending once they release their hold.

Intent

Site Lore. The first of many artifacts created by the Sith witch @Vex in this thread. It is mainly meant to allow her to enter threads and socials without being recognized as @Nahri Nalju. It also allows her to not have to wear her bulky armor every time she wants to be Sith-y.

Imperial Detention Force

Description

The Imperial Detention Force (IDF) is a small but growing and elite platoon of Imperial law enforcement under the authority of the Sith Champion Vex. Their duties mostly consist of garrisoning the prisons on the Imperial prison-world of Belsavis. They are particularly assigned to guard dangerous or high-profile prisoners on the planet, and six of them serve as Vex's personal security detail.

Currently, they are only about 40 strong.

Equipment

Imperial Detention Force Armor
Double-bladed vibroblade polearm
DA-34 blaster pistol or BR8-A1 blaster rifle
Vibro-repulsor blades (5)
Comlink

Intent

Site Lore. To create a force of NPC prison guards for the Sith Empire that builds off the mission rewards I just applied for and builds off the order the Empress gave Vex to run the prisons on Belsavis. PC characters can be made for this regiment, as well.

Shadows of Rishi

One Empress has resigned, another has risen..

But the Sith Empire stands strong. We will not let the galaxy think this time of transition singles a moment of weakness. The Sith Master Vex was charged by the last Empress with building a prison to house the Empire's worst criminals. A fortress capable of holding the most dangerous Force-sensitives. Quadrant S-15 of the galactic north holds a number of planets she has deemed suitable for this assignment. Your job is to capture those planets for the Empire and in the name of our new Empress, Darth Anaris.

.

Threads

THREAD #1 — UNYIELDING RAIN
Tipoca City on Kamino was ransacked by the Empire days after the end of the Clone Wars. The city sits mostly in ruins and the Kaminoans have long fled to other water worlds as refugees. But though Kamino is no longer the center of galactic cloning, and is mostly an abandoned world of unending rain and swelling seas, Vex has determined it may have other uses. Uses that serve the Empire's purposes and would allow the Detention Forces a new location to train. Capture Tipoca City, and clear it of any dangers you might find inside so that the Empire can garrison and rebuild.

Participants: @Mockingjay (Vex)

THREAD #2 — GHOST OUTPOST
During the Clone Wars, the Republic maintained a listening outpost on the moon of Rishi. This outpost was meant to alert Kamino to any incoming invasion force. If Kamino is to once again be occupied, the Empire needs the listening outpost to restored and functional. But Vex's intelligence have shown odd reports coming out of the Rishi system. Reports of ghostly transmissions near the Rishi moon that suggest someone or something might call the moon home all these centuries later. Assess and deal with the threat, then occupy the listening post and get it running again. For the Empire.

Participants:

THREAD #3 — INTO THE DARK HEART
Centuries ago, Jedi Master Lena Kostana and Jedi Padawan Syfo-Dias stole a Sith artifact from Rishi and performed a cleansing ritual to realign the planet with the Light. If the Empire hopes to take the sector, we need to undo the Jedi desecration and restore the planet's dark alignment. Vex's intelligence shows that the Kostana and Syfo-Dias stole their artifact from a subterranean Sith temple buried for millennia before their arrival. Ever since then, a group of local Rishii warrior fanatics have stood guard over the temple should the Sith ever return for it. Seek out the underground temple and kill every last Rishii warrior occupying it. Use their deaths, their blood, as the catalyst for a ritual to restain the temple and restore the planet's dark alignment so that Rishi may belong to the Sith once more.

Participants:

THREAD #4 — THE BEACHES OF SCARIFF
The planet Scariff also lays in Quadrant S-15. Though the planet has a massive hole in it from a limited shot by the first Death Star, it is still mostly the tropical paradise it is known for in history. While there is no hope of recovering the lost secrets of the Galactic Empire that were destroyed in Governor Tarkin's attack, there is hope that Scariff will once again host the secrets of an empire. But leave the building for the architects. A shielding station still floats above Scarrif that can be restarted and repurposed to shield the world again. The problem is that its vacant, dormant shell is currently occupied by pirates who use it to raid the nearby Manda Merchant Run. Deal with the pirate filth and restore power to the station so that the Imperial fleet might occupy this system once again.

RAITH TARKIN'S ARMOR

Designed to evoke the imposing and threatening atmosphere given off by the Old Imperial Inquisition, Raith Tarkin's armor was designed with intimidation in mind for his role as a Sith-trained member of the Imperial Peacekeepers. Unlike most members of the Imperial military machine, Tarkin had a direct role in overseeing and designing his armor, choosing a pharaohic helmet to give him an unsettling, alienlike appearance.

The rest of the armor is designed to be light, allowing the most mobility possible while protecting vital areas of the body. The helmet in particular locks into place, preventing the Force from being used to rip it off. The suit is complete with an armorweave cape that attaches on the left shoulder and wraps around to provide torso coverage. Tarkin has stated that his armor was designed to remind Imperials and enemies of the Empire alike that he is still a Sith, even though he works with Imperial Security.

LEGALITY

Legal in places where the Sith religion is not strictly outlawed.

Type and Coverage

Type: Medium Armor

Coverage:
  • Head: Black helmet, locks into shoulder plates, made from plasteel.
  • Torso: Durasteel plates covering the upper-chest.
  • Back: Durasteel plates covering the upper-back.
  • Upper Arms: Raised plasteel shoulder plates on both shoulders.
  • Lower Legs: Durasteel plates on both knees.

Functions

Function 1: Voice Scrambler
  • For the unusually paranoid, this helmet function can scramble a person's voice to unintelligible garbage, while allowing commlink conversations to continue as normal. Alternatively, it can be used to "digitize" a voice into a deep bass tone.
Function 2: Environment Suit
  • While it is not rated for extended exposure to extreme hazards, this body suit (when combined with an enclosed helmet) can protect the wearers body from the effects of environmental and weaponized toxins and similar hazards for up to 5 posting rounds.
Function 3: Armorweave Cape
  • Most often in the form of a heavy cape, skirt, or underlay beneath armor, armor weave provides some protection against the penetrating effects of shrapnel from explosives and other unpowered high velocity impacts, with only a small amount of bleed through damage (bruising or very minor wounds). It offers no protection against kinetic impact or energy, vibroweapons, or similar "powered" weapons. Having more than one accessory (example: Cape + underweave) provides no additional effect.
Function 4: Vision Modes
  • This Allows a Helmet HUD to cycle to low-light OR thermal vision modes.
Function 5: Rebreather
  • Rebreathers allow for a person to survive underwater or in space for brief amounts of time by scrubbing CO2 from their exhaled breath. Generally this lasts for 3-4 posts, but heavy exertion can shorten that time.
