DESCRIPTION​

The MX-26 came about from the idea of modularity. Arkanian Dynamics decided to test the waters, so to speak at a new business model: instead of making an entirely new ship every time, why not make the ship in modular, upgradable parts. The stock configuration (as seen above) was popular enough on Arkania that they opened the ship, and it's upgrade packages to the open market.

While designed with light freighting in mind, a pilot can configure the MX-26 to be a combat vessel, a live-in mobile home, or even a passenger transport. It's as simple as having enough credits and bringing it into an Arkanian Dynamics port for maitenence.

The cockpit itself is the escape pod, designed so that if a pilot pulls the ejection cords, the cockpit itself ejects from the rest of the ship. There is no engine on the escape pod, and it is recommended to point oneself at a planet to circumvent being lost at space.

There are two seats in the cock pit. The first is the pilot's seat. This is the forward most seat and has every control for the ship on the consoles. The second seat is behind the pilot's seat, and has minimal controls if the pilot allows it. This can be used by a crewmate for navigation, targeting, and power flow controls, or by a passenger with the controls locked.
