"Of course Governor, any time you have for us is greatly appreciated. I have here some notes from our team on the ground, so to speak, on Glee Anselm. They say that one of your first promises was to amend voting laws. Would you care to enlighten us on what we can expect this to look like?"
"Absolutely. Simply put, the current voting system is a mess. Just this last few days we've had attempted bombings on our polling stations but the security provided by the Empire was really top-notch. To avoid trouble like this in the future, and to right a grievous wrong, we will be amending voting rights for our citizens."
"Amending their voting rights? How?"
"Why by ensuring that only true citizens of Glee Anselm can vote, of course. The Nautolan people will be the only ones to retain the right to vote - as should always have been the case as we are the only sentient species on the planet."
"Um... sorry, but did you say the only sentient species on the planet? On Glee Anselm?"
"That's right."
"What about the Anselmi?"
"Oh I didn't realise we were including filthy animals."

"Let me explain it to you, human, so you can understand it. Glee Anselm belongs to the Nautolan and only the Nautolan. The Anselmi are an evolutionary mistake - giving them the vote is akin to giving the Loth-wolves of Lothal voting rights."
"Except that the Loth-Wolves are an extinct race of creatures that displayed only semi-sentience at best."
"Exactly why I used them in my example - the comparison is, quite frankly, uncanny."
"Um right... what did you say was the name of the party you represented again?"
"The Natural Nautolan Order."
"And your party won the election by a landslide victory? What about the other Nautolan-backed parties? How did they do?"
"Oh not to worry about that. The NNO has already reached out to the other parties and we've come to an agreement that they will support us fully in all our endeavours for the people of Glee Anselm."
"Has their been any resistance to this merger?"
"Not anymore."
"You certainly paint a... strong picture of the future of Glee Anselm."
"But of course! The future of Glee Anselm is strong, the future of Glee Anselm is beautiful because the future of Glee Anselm is Nautolan."
