NAVY Interest Check: Looking for a Superior Officer

I've created a character Kai'a Hale (see signature) to serve as a crewman/starfighter pilot aboard an Imperial vessel, progressing in her career thenceforth. I'm putting this out there to see if any Navy character is interested in having an unknown number of threads - they could be combat, they could be social, hell they could even be romantic if you don't mind violating ethics codes and dealing with a hot mess. Ideally, they'd take place on whatever vessel the superior officer is in charge of.

well, my character kann is my IL is an admiral but the roster is yet to be updated to reflect this. but kann could use a right-hand man woman and I won't mind it get romantic since he is a womaniser and he lives to violate ethics codes

Pending his survival of an ongoing PvP thread, I'd love to have my Grand Admiral Vaxus Tallav involved with this story. I've tried a couple times now to start a storyline focused on the crew of a particular Imperial vessel, but each time was met with either not enough interest, or loss of interest over time. I've got a small number of people interested in trying for a third time, and Kai'a seems like she'd fit right in.

I've been messaging Alhon about Wraith Squadron and shipborne Navy-focused threads involving the development of that squadron, and I just put a thread up for the two of us. Hoping to build up something tantamount to BSG's Viper jocks or Rogue Squadron books and the like.

@Chask274 I find that most people that create Navy characters do so for that sort of RP, so I do wish you luck with that. I think any difficulty achieving that is probably more because of the rank system permitting everyone and their grandma to be a Commander than it is a lack of interest.

@christhebarker I threw my lot in with Alhon - I remember reading about Wraith squadron on the forum previously and am primarily looking for a starfighter focused role, so I think he fits better. Hopefully I'll get a chance to meet Kann at some point, tho - if you have any ideas, feel free to PM me :)

I currently do not have a dedicated Navy character (and that's kinda a first this timeline), but am always up to join dogfights and the like.
