"Zeltros... Zeltros... Zeltros..." The word played on repeat over and over in the girl's head as she strolled down the busy city street. "Damn, I can't think of a rhyme for it at all." She swept her hand back through her hair, glanced around, then sighed. The padawan wasn't just wandering the streets aimlessly (even though that was something she would probably do anyways), she was looking for the other padawans she was here with. They'd been given a free day out in the city with the caveat that they, quote on quote, don't get into any trouble, and the group had been wandering around since noon.
Unfortunately, they'd bailed on her. Well, technically she'd wandered off for a little longer than intended, and they were gone when she made her way back. Either way, she had no idea where they were, little idea where she was, and her comm devices were all dead. The sun had just dipped below the urban sprawl horizon, leaving the teenage Jedi alone in the slightly chilly, rainy twilight.
"I just need to find a place to charge my datapad and I'll be fine." She held a hand up to her brow to block the drizzle from her eyes and began to look around again. Now that it was starting to rain, the streets were starting to clear up, but she didn't have much hope to spot the others. She didn't know any of them very well and seeing as they were in plain clothes, she couldn't just look for anyone remotely Jedi-looking. Maura didn't exactly stand out either with her outfit. The two most colorful things on her right then were her J's and the grown dye in her hair, and even the neon colors were dulled as they soaked up the rainwater.
After deciding that maybe she should get out of the rain - being sopping wet didn't sound too appealing to Maura - the girl began wandering the alleyways instead of the streets. She slowly began gravitating toward the ever-growing sound of music, and eventually, she came to stand in front of what looked like an old warehouse. Flashing, neon colors could be seen from the outside windows near the roof, and when Maura tried the solid metal door, it opened right up to her delight.
Maura was assaulted by a cacophony of sounds - bass, treble, and a myriad of voices - and the thick smell of smoke and fog. Despite the cough in her throat and the overwhelming amount of noise going on, she could feel her heart rate increase not with anxiety, but excitement. Dozens upon dozens of bodies filled the space, most of which were Zeltron, but many of which were not. It was a true Zeltron party going on, though the age group here seemed pretty skewered toward the late teens.
Despite her very intense desire to join the party, she definitely needed to at least find a place to charge her datapad first. So the hunt was on.
