Hi Everyone! With Czerka disbanding I noticed that there didn't seem to be much factions around other than the Accord for the Czerka members that had to leave so if I was to make a faction, what type of faction would you look for?

If you are an other option, please put what you would like down below!!

The RP could use an original Force-centric faction. Doesn't have to involve lightsabers or anything like that, just something centered in the Force and the lore that surrounds it. I only say that because the Independent faction scene seems to already be saturated with things like Illegal businesses and military-like factions already. A new Force faction could offer some variety, depending on what ideas you have for it.

What about some group that tries to eliminate the force somehow? Of course, they never could within the context of the SWRP but maybe they'd make some progress.

Eliminating the Force would mean trying to destroy the entire universe, and or killing off every Force sensitive individual in the galaxy. I mean, interesting way to go about it. But, that's up to you.

Well, the force as the canon establishes it, is a huge etherial mystic field that cannot be quantified or observed directly. And force users are born naturally, making any attempt at killing ALL of them completely pointless.

Or maybe a political party for the senators? I imagine there would be a few other party apparachiks but largely dominated by senators.

I would be down to make a force centric Indie character if we took that route. I think that could be really cool. But to have a faction that is hellbent on eradicating Force Sensitives, although pointless, could be a small threat to both the Jedi and the Sith. I say small because a small group of people, armed to the teeth, looking to hunt down force sensitives would likely not get too far leading a two front war against the Jedi and the Sith. It could be a clandestine thing, or even...

Space Nazis.

(Pause for laughter)

I'll be honest though, the thought of a faction encouraging Sith or Jedi hunting would be interesting no less. Could even be two sister guilds, one focusing on the Jedi, the other, on the Sith.

The issue there is that the faction would get wiped out as soon as they gave either the Jedi or the Sith dirty looks.

Which is no reason not to do it. Enjoy the challenge of fighting Force-sensitives from the main factions, instead of being a hermit in your own part of space never bothering anyone and slowly dying because, quite frankly, even an appealing idea dies if it doesn't get involved in the main story where all the real activity is.

Go out in bloody big blaze of Glory with a capital G because 'dayumm that's gangster'.

I'm not saying never interact with the mains. I'm saying be smart with your faction, which isn't an unreasonable statement to make. If you're gonna go go up against the Jedi or the Sith, take some time to build yourselves up first; work from the shadows. Never implicate yourselves. Etc.

No need for that. A faction built around hunting down force sensitives only needs to join open threads with either Sith or Jedi in them. It's an appealing idea that also expells the notion that FS cannot be defeated.

All it would need is a place to get together and train newcomers, which a penthouse on a skyscraper in any planet's capital can do. Say your group has a rich financial backer and you're good to go. You will not be able to defeat a main faction, but you can hunt FS all you bloody want.

Win or lose, now that's purely up to your PvP ability.

That sounds good! So a FS hunting faction it is! When I have more free time i will develop it!

So who would join this type of faction?

Hmm, I was actually thinking of it very differently. Put that way, I can see the appeal and plausibility of it.
