Well, he had done it. It wasn't too long ago he became Blackwell Tech's Chief Market Officer. A lot of people with ambitions similar to Newton's go in to work for the mega corporation, few reach them. Newton is one of those people now. He's an executive now and has clawed himself to a high spot on the corporate totem pole. Newton attributes it to his determination that got him to this point, as well as his willingness to get his hands dirty for Blackwell.

Newton has it all: success, a high paying job, more credits than he knows what to do with, what more could a person want? Newton isn't quite for sure.

The Blackwell Executive was sharply dressed in a suit, his secretary droid protocal droid L3 passed him a folder which he would put on his new desk to review later. Newton would then smile towards his loyal companion droid M7 that's at his side who would return with a happy beep. M7 is pretty much Newton's best friend, and his only friend it seems. He has contacts, clients, acquittances, subordinates, colleagues, bosses, closer acquaintances. Lyra Durand he thought of as a friend, but they haven't been in contact for a long time. He's unsure of her progress getting those Hypergate Codes to work and haven't heard from her since after they parted ways after their journey into the Unknown Regions.

Newton still has his family - his mother and father - but it's been a long time since he spoke to either of them, despite them still living on Courscant where Newton spend most of his time. But the astromech droid that Newton built from spare parts when he was a child is his best friend and the droid is unconditionally loyal to him. He's an old R3 droid, yet he never thought of transferring the little droids mind into a newer model. Even Blackwell itself has superior models of astromech droids, yet he is perfectly content with the R3 droid just the way it is.

Newton would then get out of his chair and then stride over to the windows of his office, looking out to behold the Coruscanti skyscape. The speeders, the lights .etc Inside.

It is weird being in marketing department, instead of focusing on just robotics. That's not to say that Newton would be done with droids, as that's still his specialty as an engineer. He's both that and a salesman. Still, he'll make new droid designs in time, maybe some upgrades, in addition to having a big hand in Blackwell's marketing strategy. But he will adjust, he already has ideas. There is a lot more paperwork though.

He would continue to look through the window for some time, pondering, musing for the future, more specifically his future. Should he try ascend to the very top of the Blackwell Ladder, becoming CEO? Newton did want to advance as much as he can, but he wonders if the very top spot is actually he wants.

There was also the Sith war with the rest of the galaxy to considered into his plans. The Sith took Denon, a major victory for them, but were beaten back at Byblos. From the looks of things, this war isn't going to end any time soon. That was just fine for Newton, as long as there is war, there will be a need for hardware such as ships, vehicles, weapons, droids .etc. Factions are more inclined to buy them. If it continues for a longer time, there will be more profit.

There is the AMS pandemic as well, the whole thing makes Newton glad he chose to be a droid designer, as Blackwell and Newton himself have made a big amount of profits off Automata's droids. There is supposed to be a vaccine on the way if he heard right. The pandemic will begin to die after it's deployed, the infection will die out, the zombies will die out eventually as well. But the booming sales for the droid manufacturing industry would be good while they lasted.

M7 would then roll over to Newton's side and then beeping. "Yeah, yeah." Newton simply said "Alright buddy, lets go home". Enough reflection for the day he thinks, Newton would then turn around and leave, with his trusty companion wheeling behind.
