It sounded like Altair had an impressive resume already, but he also supposed that people didn't perform ended up dead sooner or later. Still, he kept it in mind as someone he'd like to work with again in the future. Not to mention he just... seemed like a nice guy.

I figured they'd be pulling out, but I thought there'd still be someone. Or everyone, he said, half expecting a heavy extract.
I guess we report it back to command and probably have to fight them all a different day, he said, realizing that this fight was apparently still far from over. Just for a different day.
Keep the droid poking around and set up a sentry position in case anyone comes back. IDF can come in and sweep things over to look for anything useful intel-wise, he said, but he wasn't holding his breath.
