I / II / III

Nor'baal Desilijic Fa'athra (known by his title Bimahau Kasii, Oyabun Nor'baal Desilijic, Daimyo of Tatooine) was a male Hutt and who served as Kajidii of the Desilijic Clan, and 'Supreme Mogul' of the Hutt Clans. He served as a member of the Five Syndicates ruling council before its dissolution during the Force Eternal Era.

Born to Fa'athra Desilijic Tiure on Nar Shaddaa, he grew up in the vaulted halls of his father and was ever in his shadow. Taking it upon himself, when the blood sports and decadence got boring, to advance his station in life, he shoved his father off of the balcony of his Coruscant palace and took his position for his own.

Working his way through the ranks, Nor'baal became the leader of his Clan, and, subsequently, Supreme Mogul of the Hutt Cartel itself, commanding fear and respect across the Galaxy. He has three children, twins Arok and Moghra, and a younger daughter Baghra.

Biography

After the unfortunate demise of his father, Nor'baals inheritance was subject to competing claims, one from his mother and the other from his brother. Unable to lay claim to his family's wealth in totality, Nor'baal set out to find another way to maintain his decadent lifestyle. Taking what little his father had successfully managed to leave him, he took up occupancy in his family's Coruscant residence and began to get to work.

Taking on a job to infect the world of New Alderaan with the AMS Virus, he and a young smuggler known as Davik Lorso, managed to infiltrate the world and get close to the planet's main water supply. Foiled at the final hurdle by interfering Sector Rangers, Nor'baal and his erstwhile ally fled, taking the downpayment with them.

Soon afterwards, the Hutt took up a job forging the Onderon Crown jewels and selling them to rival Hutt Lord, in return for a parcel of land, which was then traded off to the Systech Corporation to build a stim factory on. An enormously successful venture, the Hutt walked away with hundreds of thousands of credits, which he invested into a small mercenary band. Using the credits to fund an occupation of a pirate base on Teth, the Hutt finally had a base of operations to expand his ventures further still.

Launching a considerably unsuccessful invasion of Llanic, the Hutt took over the Llanic underworld, around the largest refugee camp in the area. This brought him into contact with the Independent Systems Consortium, and he later negotiated a position for himself as Governor of Kessel after the Consortium invaded the world. Draining considerable resources from the planet and funnelling it off-world, the Hutt would later use the wealth to expand to Sleyheron and assume control of his family's fleet.

His influence has grown further; he assumed control of the Desilijic Kajidic, and took a position as leader of the Hutt Clans, following a confirmatory vote of the other Clan leaders. Considering nothing off the table, Nor'baal has set to work on various schemes and underhand deals to enrich his Kajidic and, by extension, further his power. After some considerable spouts of dishonest behaviour, Nor'baal assumed the position of Lord of the Hutt Clans. He would continue to expand his influence and power, taking a position on the Syndicate Council as Syndicate Boss of the Hutt Cartel and adopting the title of 'Supreme Mogul' soon after.

Thereafter the Hutt began to consolidate his rule. Placing junior clan members of the Desilijic into posts across key Hutt planets, he expanded the Hutt fleet, and cemented the border of Hutt Space. Soon he has driven out the Pykes, secured Tatooine in a deal with the ISC (which the saw the Sith Empire blockaded).

Next the Hutt negotiated to retake Kessel, at the same time as surviving numerous assassination attempts, which saw him retaliate, blowing up a shipment of fuel in the heart of imperial warship convoy.

Now at the pinnacle of his power this far, Nor'baal surveyed the Galaxy and plotted his next move.

Personality & Traits

A decadent Hutt of the classic traditions of his species, Nor'baal had an eye for commerce and corruption. Although he grew up in the dank underpasses of his father's palace, he had a keen understanding of the realities of the galaxy and had a penchant for blood sports, alcohol and food. Aware of the existence of the force, and its power, Nor'baal is a practical Hutt, and seeks to avoid direct confrontation himself - preferring instead to act through agents and mercenaries.

Not one to let grudges go lightly, Nor'baal has a cruel streak and tends to obsess over ensuring his 'enemies' are punished for imperceptibly small transgressions. He is not force-sensitive, and his only real skill outside of his understanding of crime is that he can speak Huttese and basic to a fluent level, as well as commanding a considerable understanding of technology and droids.

Equipment & Assets
An exceptionally wealthy and powerful being, Nor'baal has a collection of palaces ranging across his dominions, with one on Tatooine, Ylesia, Teth, Sleyheron, and Nar Shaddaa. He has a residence in the Supreme Moguls Palace on Nal Hutta, and a smaller residence in his own right on Coruscant. Owing to his extensive lifespan and network, he has secreted stashes of riches across the outer and mid rims, with an unfathomably complex network of bank accounts and secret stashes at his disposal. It is best to assume that the Hutt is rarely without his guards and can command some of the toughest sons of guns in the Rim.

All Hutts of any note come with a collection of hangers-on wherever they go. However, Nor'baal seems to come with more than most, owing to his long life and position as Supreme Mogul of the Hutt Clans. What follows is a collection of some of his entourage's regular 'cast members'.

Pictured left: #TheBoars. No Hutt of the Desilijic Clan could be considered whole without his trusty Gamorreans. Known as 'the Boars' within the Palace, the Gamorreans are a key part of Nor'baal's retinue and are always at his side. At the absolute minimum, Nor'baal is always accompanied by four boars, well-armed with axes and swords and adorned in their leather and metal armour.

More commonly than not, these numbers are considerably enhanced, with Nor'baal ensuring his throne room, yacht, ship, or any room he happens to be in is filled with many of his Gamorrean staff. It is not uncommon to find the walls of the room lined with Gamorreans, with his throne surrounded, and the doors under boar guard.

Pictured right: Tooga. All Hutt Crime Lords need a Majordomo; otherwise, who else will they be bullying late at night? Tooga fills that vital role for Nor'baal and has for many years. Blind in his left eye, owing to a brutal punishment back when Nor'baal was younger, the long worn out Tooga somehow stays by the Hutts side to this day. Normally with a datapad in his hands, Tooga flutters around the Hutts throne, overseeing his schedule, and ensuring his masters barked commands are followed.

Pictured left: Thug. A Mandallian Giant and opera singer, Thug is a heavy set creature at 12 feet tall, wearing a giant version of Henchman armour, and wielding larger versions of axes and clubs, in order to protect his master, and kill things his master tells him to kill. A man of few words, unless he is singing, Thug was captured by a band of pirates, and now serves Nor'baal.

The Kouoioy Han Despotism

Founded by the Hutt Lord Nor'baal, the Kouoioy Han was a collection of planets and estates held under the tyrannical rule of the Desilijic Clan, commanded by Nor'baal. It is collected together into a web of personal 'estates', controlled by members of the family, with various worlds and business entities owned by the Crime Lord, Nor'baal, through his assorted titles. A nasty place to live, it was known for its autocratic leadership, in which a heavily enslaved and subjugated popular mass was kept in line through force, extreme violence and other such means.

Power & Reach

With sizable holdings across the galaxy, the Kouoioy Han Despotism held onto control through a structure known as the 'Tributaries', 'Holdings' and 'Estates' of the realm. In this instance, 'Tributaries' amounted to regions and areas over which the Hutt held command over a government of another form of organisation that paid a tithe to him in return for the right to rule a set area or region. In most cases, these Governments were held in line through bribery and corruption. 'Holdings' amounted to areas under the direct command of a member of the Hutts family, and normally were business-related, with 'Estates' being the personal residences of the Clan members.

Supreme Mogul of the Hutt Cartel - By far the crown jewel of the Kouoioy Han is the holding of Nal Hutta, the so-called 'Glorious Jewel' of the Hutt Core. Held by virtue of Nor'baals position as Supreme Mogul of the Hutt Clans, Nal Hutta is a swamp-ridden world, to which many Hutts are known to flood each winter for a series of parties and feasts. The Clan holds a personal estate on the world, a vast Palace complex, that they had constructed to celebrate the ascension of their leader as head of the Clans. It is by virtue of his position as Supreme Mogul that Nor'baal commands tribute from all planets within Hutt Space.

Lorda of the Desilijic - As the incumbent 'Lorda' of this powerful Hutt family, Nor'baal enjoyed a personal fiefdom over the planets of Sleheyron, Ylesia, Kessel and Gamorr, worlds with a large population, and a booming economy of slaves, tibanna mining and spice. He collects tithes from family members, who have operations controlling the underworld on Ploo II and across its associated Kingdom, and Llanic, although do not control the planets.

Diamyo of Tatooine - Occupying a special place in the Hutt's heart, Tatooine is a world with deep ties to the Desilijic. Nor’baal is one of many criminals active on the planet, and spends most of his time planetside in his ancestral seat in the Dune Sea, attempting to expand his rackets. The Hutt maintains an estate palace on the world. Tatooine, being a member of the Independent Systems Consortium, is not controlled by the Hutts, who do their best to keep business going without Consortium meddling.

A feared and respected Lorda, Nor'baal is a fixture of scum and villainy in the outer rim, and a well-known member of the galactic criminal syndicate, the Five Syndicates. He has a personal residence on Teth, which he tends to not use. Keeping on top of the world of Crime is a hard job, and as such, Nor'baal is often on the move, carrying out plots and schemes to keep up his lifestyle. He is most often found out and about in his yacht, rather than festering in a palace.
