BIOGRAPHY
Born on the outer rim world of New Alderran to a pair of Cathar immigrants who had a litter of six, Novaron Rah’s parents were survivors of numerous pirate raids as they fled from planet to planet escaping the madness that ensued outside of both the New Reppublic and the Free World Allliance. Settling on New Alderran happened by chance as the vessel, that had been fleeing the devastation caused to their small village on Oseon VII, had experienced engine malfunctions which caused the ship to drop out of hyperspace above their new home. A wild coincidence, it seemed, as the planet they had mistakenly discovered welcomed them with open arms and soon the family became well established in the prosperous city of New Aldera.
Nova’s father turned to learning how to fix ships and droids while his mother, crafty as she was, typically could be found weaving clothes and blankets for other immigrants as they arrived, wishing to show them the same acceptance and hospitality that was shown to them. Of the six children his mother bore, Nova was the youngest and always proved himself to be the wildest of his littermates. While he did demonstrate an adept ability when working with his father in the small shop he had obtained, Nova felt most at home, most at ease, when he was outside the city venturing the forests that surrounded New Aldera. Taking to hunting and trapping in his downtime, the young Cathar began to spend less and less time with his family and more out in the wilds. Sometimes spending nights on end out in the wilderness, Nova soon developed an admiration for the creatures he would hunt.
As time passed, Nova grew into a man. No longer did he have the energy of youth but instead the demeanor of a man who had learned to survive on his own. Because of this, the Cathar took to leaving New Alderran and eventually found work as a mercenary within a small band of like-minded individuals who would hop from planet to planet looking for their next gig. While many were morally loose and willing to take most any sort of job, Nova and a select few often opted to dealing with raider and pirate groups that could be found through out the Outer Rim hassling civilians and immigrants alike. Ensuring the safety of these people was soon a key part of who Nova wished to become and they began to make a small name for themselves in their travels before coming to the aide of a distress call from a ship that had dropped out of hyperspace off the Rimma Trade Route.
As they approached the vessel floating through space, it was clear to the mercenary team that the ship had been attacked by a much larger vessel. Though the distress beacon was still transmitting, initial scans indicated that no life forms remained on board but as they were unsatisfied with simply turning around and leaving the vessel to it’s fate, the team soon docked with the craft and boarded. Inside was such a massacre that they had never seen before, immigrants of varying species laid dead through out the ship though there was no sign of carbon scoring or blaster fire. No amount of blood could be seen spilled either, however. Just dead bodies with massive burned scars through out their chests. It was then that Nova decided that he and his team mates needed to report the accident to the Sector Rangers but fate stepped in as they returned to their vessel. Soon receiving a hail from a newly arrived vessel and once the craft had docked with their own, Nova and his team came face to face with a Jedi Knight by the name of Guranik Donishiva. Explaining the situation to the human Jedi, Guranik had explained to them that they were in over their heads and that this was a matter best left to the Jedi Order.
Unwilling to simply turn his back on these people, Nova demanded that Guranik explain to them what was going on but soon after, the Jedi pulled the Cathar aside. Explaining to Nova that there was a dark force rising in the galaxy, unknown to all but a few, the Jedi had taken it upon himself to venture out into the galaxy and track down men and women who could undergo training that would give the Jedi the edge they would need should war return to the galaxy. He went on to explain that he believed Nova could be one such person and wished for him to leave the mercenary life behind and instead turn his focus to becoming a Jedi. The urge to help others pushed Nova to accept and Guranik would spend years training the Cathar in the ways of the Force before he too had achieved the level of Jedi Knight. Like his Master before him, Nova went off to the edges of the galaxy in search of Force Sensitive individuals but now that the Sith have returned, he too has opted to return to Ajan Kloss in hopes of bringing the fight to those who wielded the dark side…

SKILLS
From a young age, Nova had developed an uncanny ability to repair ships, droids, weapons or any other sort of mechanical contraption or device. This soon transferred itself into being able to slice computer terminals and piloting starfighters though neither can be done to the same degree as his mechanical capabilities.
His skills with the Force are on par with your average Knight of the Order though Nova does exhibit slight advancements when it comes to interacting with non-sentient life forms. Not unheard of for a Jedi, but it almost seems as though he can communicate with them in a way that others can’t.
Fighting in Lightsaber combat, Nova will typically utilize two lightsabers and as such is a practitioner of Form VI, otherwise known as Niman or more specifically, Jar’Kai. Not one to allow himself to be confined to a single form, however, Nova has trained himself to be an adept in Form III when using a single lightsaber.
