Hey all! As mentioned in the discord, I’m looking to see who all would be interested in participating in a Huttball-esque style event but rather than beating the piss out of one another with weapons, sandwiches and a heavy ball, you’d be running around a course at blink-and-you-miss-em speeds!
The Premise would be as follows;
Everyone who participates would be acknowledging and agreeing to a 48 hour time limit. Every participant is permitted a single 12 hour extension that can be utilized should unforeseen real world circumstances hinder you from posting within said limit. Time Outs can and will result in penalties, of which is to be decided by the DM. Make sure any extension request is made PUBLICLY.
Characters from ANY FACTION may participate!
This will be a 3 lap event, each lap consisting of four posting rounds. Obstacles and bonuses will be introduced! Roll for initiative and pray you have better luck than I ever do!
Personal weapons are disallowed. Only bonuses provided in-thread may be utilized. Think Death Race meets Mario Kart meets Pod Racer. Use of the Force is permitted but will have negative modifiers introduced dependent on the individual's power level.
This event is, by default, DEATH DISABLED! This does not mean however that you can’t kill off your character should you decide it suitable. Just because they would realistically die in a situation they will be placed in does not force you to do as such. This is for fun and should not be taken too seriously!
As this is my first time doing something like this, I would like to keep this around a 5 PC headcount. Undecided if I may throw in a handful of NPC racers just to keep things interesting. Any potential participant may register below and should there be more than 5, they will be selected at random.
Pictures of pods, while not mandatory, are encouraged! Please use the format below to register. Deadline for registration will be FRIDAY, APRIL 28TH. Draw will be done over the weekend and the thread posted the following Monday!
