Vlatkat looked up at Cassus incredulously. "A thousand ways to respond, and you choose the least merciful you could think of. You truly have disappointed me." He tried to control his inner emotions, but he was angry now, in part because he now lacked all but one useful appendage, in part because of the sheer lack of honor and principle this Jedi had demonstrated. He gritted his teeth. "You could have stunned me with the force, or stepped on my hand, or shoved the sword closer,'or done a thousand other things that might have taken your 'high ground.' But you didn't, proving you are a coward, a hypocrite, and all around unpleasant individual, along with the rest of your kin." He stretched backwards to stare at the sky, completely ignoring the glaring loss of his other hand. "But in any case, I would appreciate it if we got on with this. Like it or not, your actions have earned you several back breaking hours of carrying me through the woods."

With his blade cutting the other hand off, Cassus knew he would be safe for the time being. The Sith would be in too much pain to draw on the Force, and without hands he couldn't grab anything dangerous, and without a leg he certainly wasn't making an escape. Of course, this didn't prevent the clearly deluded alien from launching into another short speech about how Cassus was a disappointment as a Jedi, all while Cassus kept his blade pointed as his chest. It caused Cassus to roll his eyes. Like he was even trying to be a perfect Jedi, or pretend to be one. Not only that, but this Sith's idea of what a Jedi should be, and that a man defending himself without taking a life was somehow cruel.

Sighing, Cassus shook his head, deactivating the Sith's lightsaber and placing a foot on the good leg of the Sith. He'd prefer not to claim that limb because the Sith tried one last defiant and useless kick. "Goodness! You preach more than the Jedi council! You started this fight, Sith. I merely defended myself. Just because I didn't want to fight you doesn't make me a coward. And if you had surrender when I took your sword, or before that when I asked, I wouldn't have had to injure you. You have no one to loathe but yourself and your own arrogance. Why would I use such a temporary solution to disarm you anyways? You could simply attempt to escape later. Now, without hands and missing a leg you'll escape nowhere. It might be less merciful, but it is wise. Make no mistake. I am not like my brothers and sisters, I will do what is necessary."

Cassus was calm, in truth he was not angry, but this Sith seemed to be making several assumptions that needed to be dismissed. It was simply annoying. And the fight had drained him as he was not a Jedi who specialized in using the Force extensively in combat. Still, he had enough left in him for one last use. Pressing a button on his comlink, Cassus sent out a homing beacon. "As for carrying you back, that's not my problem, Sith. I'll dump you in the recovery team." Then, with a wave of his hand, Cassus would use the Force left in him to touch this Sith's mind and cause him to pass out. Luckily, having lost three limbs would make using the Force to resist it all but impossible, and being able to cope with the agony and resist the attack without it would be hard for even the most hardened of warriors. Then, he would take a seat, and meditively rest while the other Jedi Knights came to recover this prisoner, making sure that he didn't escape or was rescued before that happened.
