Off Planet Studies

So my character Algent Elus is going to head to different planets to study species and study with those species. I will be heading to Felucia first to communicate with the lightside fairing Felucians.

Anyone want to join me on these studies? There will be much character development and knowledge that will be passed on. This will take place after the basic training all padawans go through with their master, of course.

Just as an FYI, if you're not a Knight then you can't go on this little excursion without the explicit approval of your master. Or, rather, you could go, but you wouldn't have IC permission and could get in a buttload of trouble IC'ly.

I got the okay from that Samuikion guy... Besides, Zolotoy is not the only mentor my character has.

Get permission from whoever is training you. Or not, but there'd be ramifications for failing to secure your Master's permission. [Just as it's sort of an unspoken no-no for people other than your master to give your Padawan permission to do stuff.]

OOC permission from Lavi =/= IC permission. Ask Zolotoy.

Also, even if you did obtain IC permission from Lavi's Jedi Councilor, ask Zolotoy anyways. You don't go straight to a high-ranking Jedi to get permission for something like this, you go to your master and that's where the buck stops. If your master says 'no', that's final.

Last, I don't mean to be rude but this really isn't "an assignment of great importance." It's just one Padawan running around doing a bit of research, and dabbling in self-discovery along the way. With war having just been declared between the Rep and Hutts, there's simply no way Algent's mission would receive any sort of priority, and it certainly wouldn't be considered important.
