Hello,
I am new to rp and im interested in joining your fleet. I'm in the process of making the bio for my character and I'm stuck on how the character was able to join and not just woke up one morning and decided to be a grand admiral.

What would be the requirements to join?
Is there pre threads for example that involves me having to complete a naval academy first before being assigned a ship?
How active is the fleet in itself?
Does race matter in leadership?

I'll do my best to field your questions here.

#1: The only requirements to join are creating a character here, and signing up for the Imperial Legion here. From there, one of the faction AFLs (most likely @Intratec as he is the leader of the Legion side of things) will review your character and approve them.

#2: There are no threads for naval academy training for you to complete beforehand. Just be sure to note in your character's profile that they serve in the navy rather than the Stormtrooper Corps.

#3: There really is no distinction in activity between Stormtroopers and naval personnel. The Legion overall though is fairly active with a decent number of members.

#4: Nope. Race doesn't matter in the least.

That aside, I should mention that your character wouldn't be able to start at the rank of Grand Admiral (if that was your plan re: "just woke up one morning and decided to be a grand admiral"). Ideally, new members begin at the lowest rank, which I believe is Private, and work their way up by doing missions and participating in battles for the faction.
