@Timmen Nahh man but totally getcha!

Since we're talking about it, it all boils down to the complexities of my char's personality and my personal writing style!

As we might imagine, when you're in denial about being at fault, you might vent your anger at everyone except yourself.

Cas, even or especially as Anvil, doesn't want to recognize what she truly feels right now. From her point of view, a clouded point of view, what happened to Etr was just part of Mandalorian business. Zaia and Adenn are being weak. Last thing she needs is a surgeon. What she needs is to beat up a Besalisk.

Of course, that's all from her point of view, and it's pretty warped right now! 😁

Similar situation for Zai! I just reread my last post and I see where you're coming from askdfjba

The reason she said no was because she's thinking of the scale of Etr's injury- she would feel bad if she asked for help for something like a cut. So she's keeping to herself for now, and if she has some minor injury she'll probably just wait for it to heal by itself.

Yeah I agree with that 😂 Honestly reading into her she's a very compelx and textured character whom I have enjoyed immensely. The same is true For Zaia. They are both an incredibly dynamic pair. I only feel bad because she does in fact blame herself. Etr will be ok. I just feel for her so you're super super successful in that regard.

One last thought before bedtime as I had to learn this personally in the past:

Character conflict is ultimately just a story mechanic. While I OOC am legit sold on Zaia's emotional reaction to Etr's arm, perfect for an 18 year old Mandalorian discovering more and more, it helped shake things up IC for the Zaia-Casany dynamic which now has another angle for development! Can't always be hugs and handshakes lol!

Similarly, Adenn's reaction was great, very fatherly, showed that this warrior of Rytt has a strong bond with his 'son'. Now Timmen has storyline opportunity for Adenn to show Cas that it's not her fault, and maybe bond with Zaia over the horror of it all?

As for Fes, well, failure is feedback! The goal was perhaps for medical attention to explore some more dynamics with Fes and the others. It didn't happen! Embracing failure is a very fine principle of improv because it is unexpected and, once again, shakes things up! Trust me, I gotta keep that in mind myself. 😁

@Timmen

Sic and I are already on board but you wanna do another bounty thread? The book continues!

Figured we could do a Discord group chat thingy-wa-jingy if it sounds spiffy?
