This thread is an [OPEN] thread for all members of the Ona'bak Retrade. If you are not a member, or have no business being at the Vergesso Enclave, please do not post.

Hangar Twelve.

Admittedly not what the Vergesso Asteroid Base was originally intended for, but it was becoming a huge selling point and it opened up an entirely new market for the Retrade. A Live Animal exchange which was able to deal with on-order and walk-in type requests. Admittedly it's location made delivery a little tricky, but some of the more permanently stationed ships at the VAB enclave were more than large enough to handle a few critters.

The hangar itself was a flurry with activity. The order had been placed for the nearly two hundred thousand tonnes of soil and rock that was to be brought inside the base, and at the moment Shyra watched from the observation platform, which was being refitted with a full array of life form sensors, medical gear that would allow the base' operators to identify, track, and tranquillise certain animals that were in the preserve without even stepping inside. Off to the side, mechanic crews worked to set up a series of ten individual cells built in the old mechanic work bays that sat off to the site. Each of them were about ten meters by ten meters and were being kitted out with a seemingly generic environment to allow for most predatory animals.

It was all coming along nicely at the base. In truth, Hangar Twelve was a rather whimsical thought that just happened to open up an entirely new trade for them; Live Animal Export. Once the enclave started to turn a profit based on its markets, bars, live animal export, mechanic and workshop services, Shyra wondered what would come next. There was always the pipe dream of the shipyards being built and completed, but the Retrade, despite being as expansive as it is, still had a long way to go before such a thing would ever become possible.

Her attention was drawn away from watching the construction crews at work when a droid approached her and politely interrupted, "Ms. Dervish?"
"Yep?" Shyra was remarkably casual with all her dealings; droid, sentient, business or social.
"The first order of flora has arrived to go into Hangar Twelve."
"Excellent," she nodded to the droid, "Go find Chief and get him to organise for Lola to hurry up with the landscaping --- oh and don't forget to get Grommet to finish the plumbing for that waterfall!"
"Of course, Ms. Dervish."

The droid scuttled off and left Shyra to her own devices, staring out from the Hangar Twelve observation deck, her mind imagining the wildlife which would be parading around below her in the near future. The thought excited her.

Nynn fidgeted as she walked up to Hanger 12’s observation deck. She has been convinced by Ieri and Shyra to not wear her armor while on base, at least for awhile. Seeing a Mandalorian walking around tended to make some of these people a little nervous. Instead, she was in a silver and blue jumpsuit, she just couldn’t get away from her colors it seemed. She was not enjoying the looks she got from men….and occasional woman. Nynn knew Ieri would be laughing her thrusters off to watch this. Taking a deep breath, the tall woman moves over to Shyra and looks out the window. “So, it’s almost completed is it? I will be leaving in the next few days to pick up some of the creatures you have asked for.”

The woman leans against the railing around the windows and looks out, trying desperately to not look to long at Shyra. Ieri had been….putting up images of the woman to bother Nynn and the woman was desperately trying to not remember them at the moment. “Is there anything else you need while I am out and about for the project?” Brushing a strand of her deep red hair out of her face, she watches the waterfall, uncompleted but getting there.

Groaning she puts her head on the bar. “I hate this…all these looks, staring. I hate being a woman. It drives me nuts. But I said I would try and I am…I hope you’re happy Shyra.”
