Order 67?

They remained loyal to the true Emperor, Roan Fel, during the Second Imperial Civil War, serving Roan Fel and the Empire-In-Exile faithfully for the duration of the war. In the peace that followed, the Imperial Knights remained loyal to the Fel Dynasty and the subsequent dynastic changes up until the resurgence of the Sith and the coup d'état led by the Sith and Sith-sympathizers, who took the Empire by storm, killing most of the Imperial Knights in a move reminiscent of Palpatine’s Order 66 a thousand years ago, as well as the true Emperor.

Would this mean that any Stormtroopers/Imp Army/etc. would get an order to immediately fire on any Imperial Knights they encounter?

I don't think I understand your concern, as this is in our (the ImpKnts) 'past'. ...But yes, I imagine it as the same design in resemblance to Order 66; by which soldiers opened fire on unsuspecting Knights.

Part of my Knight's backstory will probably include the troops under his command firing on him. If that's even possible - not sure if the Fel Empire at the time used Knights as force commanders.

Ya, I'd picture this more as a Palace coup or a fixed raid of sorts... The idea being to exterminate the Imperial Knights at its sorce of command.

Would it be permissable to have my dude as one of the Knights protecting the Emperor when he was killed?

dunno... The take-over happened nine years ago. First your character would have to be the right age. Second, I would assume that your character would have to be pretty high ranked to be situated near the Emperor -before the Purge-. That is, your character would already have to be like near Master level to have any real reason for being there.

My own character was outside of the thrown room when it happened, more of a hall guard at the time... :p

My guy will likely be at the palace, then. Was originally planning for his troops to turn on him after raiding a pirate freighter, but seeing as that won't work..

Perhaps you could work that in somehow, maybe on your way back to the palace? Perhaps your pilot is requesting docking privileges, seeing as how you and your soldiers are aboard a pirate ship and would normally be barred from landing, when it all hits? You'd be in orbit-ish, or closer? And you'd be able to use some of what you have already come up with?

idk... does that help at all? You'd be best asking one of the Independent Faction Admins atm, seeing as how they are talking about our current leader and all. I'd suggest Lavish.

Well as Aluminum said, he probably wouldn't even be anywhere near commanding Stormtroopers. Actually, I've got an idea.

Let's turn the pirate ship into a ship with abunch of mean dudes in it who are planning to assassinate the Emperor. It's the Knights business to protect Mr. Fel, so they would catch wind of this somehow, and of course would do their best to prevent it. Captain America is sent to kick these guys' arses along with a handful of stormtroopers. He comes back to the palace after the raid is already happened. He walks down the ramp, two bucketheads approach him, and raise their guns. Then the troopers following him out raise their guns.

And stuff happens.
