Vahliri didn’t hesitate to hook an arm around Altair’s own, flashing the Tiefling the same confident, sideways smile that he had seen plastered across her face on a multitude of occasions. The half-Sephi didn’t know what possessed her to grab him, but she didn’t give it much thought and simply acted on impulse. Nevertheless, she purposefully watched to see if he would pull away or resist from it before she made any attempts to move.
Of course, that confident smile faded just a bit when Altair threw in a compliment of his own - instead replaced by the half-Sephi’s fluted ears swiveling subtly while the faintest bits of red tinted her bronze-hued complexion.
“Thanks,” She said with a soft smile, reaching up to pull a strand of her black hair out of her face. “What can I say? You give a girl a reason to get dolled up.” She threw in a playful wink with that. Despite the dirty looks it seemed to earn her from everyone else, the half-Sephi was habitually unconcerned about the fact that she was almost always overdressed in everyday situations. And hey - being the best dressed person in the room wasn’t a particularly bad thing.
Vahliri walked alongside Altair as they exited her room, beginning to make their way out of the Residence Hall - moving out towards the rest of Campus and the dining options that they had. “Not a thing,” She said after a long moment, breaking away from the Tiefling in order to walk backwards in front of him. She glancing up at Altair with a grin, that bit of mischief dancing in her eyes just as it did before she suggested stealing that boat back on Indupar. “More fun to figure it out as we go.”
After a few minutes of walking, they gradually started to pass a few different options - each ranging in price from dirt cheap to ridiculously expensive, reservation only options. Even if the price wasn’t necessarily a problem for Vahliri, the half-Sephi didn’t single out any of the high-Crown options - instead allowing her eyes to continue to flick between options.
“How about that one?” Vahliri paused, jutting her chin towards one restaurant in particular. There was a multi colored Neon Sign plastered on the front of the building, flickering with age and yet still largely eluminating the name TAFFA’S Burgers and Karaoke. There was a chalk-board sign just outside the restaurant, and Vahliri took a moment to give it a glance.
“Free meals to the best voted singer or pair in the house. But you gotta go with the house-picked songs.” She grinned, taking backwards and towards the entrance. “You up for it?” The half-Sephi looked ahead. “If not, I guess PizzaShack is still open.”
