DESCRIPTION
An old droid from the time of the old Galactic Empire, the PackTrack 41LT-R is dubbed the `MULE droid`, standing for Mechanical Universal Labor Eliminating Droid. The main purpose of this droid is to be a high-tech beast of burden, to carry a large amount of equipment and gear just like a Banta does. To this end the MULE's chassis is devoted mostly for storage space, being able to carry 10 kg inside. Additional gear and equipment can be attached or lashed to the PackTrack, letting it carry another 40 kgs worth of gear. In addition, between the droids front two legs a manipulator arm can extend out and handle objects. The MULE droid can also be rode on at the top, with a saddle on for comfort.

The droid is designed to be robust and reliable, being able to weather harsh weather conditions and it accomplishes that. The droid is protected by a layer of durasteel armor plating while layers flexiplast protect the droid from weather or environmental elements such as rain or sand. The droid moves primarily on three wheels on each of it's four legs which can move at a fast pace. In harsh terrain in which it's wheeled legs can not do, it can fold up it's legs inside and switch to repulsorlifts, which allow it to move 1 foot off the ground although at an abysmally slow speed. The droid rarely breaks down, but if so simple mechanical work is all that's needed to get the PackTrack up and running again.

The droid also features a powercore that lets it last for weeks before needing to be recharged as well as a long range commlink. This is necessary to let it operate away from base for long periods of time and to communicate back to base over vast distances.

The droid's intelligence is very simplistic. It reacts to it's owner(s) voice commands and follow instructions obediently. It's AI doesn't allow for growth of personality, it has no vocabulator, and has little in the way of intelligence.

Historically the droid has been seen use by scouts, rebel cells, and by the Rebel Alliance. The droid is still in use even to this day, frequently used by well off-laborers and explorers on the frontier.

LEGALITY

INTENT
