Purpose:
  • To establish relations with other PCs, as well as form a (potential) rivalry with one or more Jedi hunters.
  • To acquire dark and forbidden lore on dark side magic/alchemy
  • dank credits
  • Explore planets affected by the Hundred-Year Darkness

After his exile, former Jedi consular Azizullah al-Jedhi has spent innumerable sleepless nights pouring over old texts he acquired (read: stole) when fleeing, hoping to find some clue as to the exploits of the original Exiles. After piecing together a few clues, as well as sending out feelers for information, he has happened upon a rumor: a holocron - created by one of the original Exiles, containing secrets about alchemical and magical experiments on the Dark Side - exists and awaits discovery. With an insatiable lust for forbidden knowledge, Azizullah is willing to journey into the mouth of madness itself to seek out this evil repository of wisdom.

Thread 1 Name:Road to Perdition

Summary:Before he can begin to scour the galaxy, Azizullah must first get off of Nar Shaddaa, where he has taken refuge among the countless refugees from the Hundred-Year Darkness. Seeking a ship, he decides to pay homage to the local gang boss in hopes of stealing acquiring a ship from them. However, there's a complication: another rival gang is encroaching upon their turf! Enlisting the aid of one of the gang boss' contacts, Azizullah and the stranger must wipe out those pesky thugs in order to win favor, and possibly a ship.

Thread 2 Name:Serpent of the Cell

Summary:Betrayed! After a heroic return from slaughtering gangsters, Azizullah finds himself unconscious and thrown into a holding cell. These gangsters appear bent on collecting the bounty on lightsaber-wielders by turning him in. The Force, on the other hand, has a different plan. Across from his cell is another captive Exile, imprisoned for the same reason. Without their lightsabers, the two must escape, retrieve their weapons, and punish the gang for their insolence - all the way up the chain.

Thread 3 Name:Absconsion

Summary:Now that the two Exiles have finished cleaning house, they must steal a nearby freighter. First, however, they need an astromech droid to assist with navigation. Luckily for them, there happens to be one in the dockyard nearby. Can the two manage to avoid gang security, "liberate" the astromech, and make their way to the ship, or will they need to carve a long and bloody swath and take their prize by force?

Summary:Danger! Just before the two can make their grand escape, trouble arrives on the horizon in the form of bounty hunters! Tired of delays, Azizullah and his companion must fight the hunters off long enough for the droid to prep the ship so they can get the kriff out of there and onto the first leg of their journey.

Thread 6 Name:Unearthing the Past

Summary:Bothawui: a hub for information on the galaxy's expansion. The first part of their journey is to find a local historian in the capital city of Drev'starn. Specializing in the Hundred-Year Darkness, this bothan should know about the Exile army's march through the galaxy and where significant sites of their campaign should be. Bothans are naturally a distrustful people, and the memories of the Hundred-Year Darkness are still fresh in their minds. Azizullah and his companion will need to be careful not to rouse any suspicion, lest he call the authorities on them.

Summary:Their efforts with the Bothan having been mostly fruitless, Azizullah and his companion resolve to break into his study and steal his notes. Unfortunately, it seems the Bothan expected this to happen, and called in a hunter to dispose of the two. Should their foe escape alive, surely the hunt will be on.

Thread Name 8:Toxic Waste

Summary:The daring duo find themselves on Eriadu in an industrial wasteland, its inhabitants gone or corrupted as a result of the Exiles' rampant experimentation and abuse before the war. With the bothan's notes recovered, Azizullah searches for an abandoned Exile temple for the next piece of the puzzle. However, as the two begin scouring the inside, a number of ancient war droids become reactivated, declaring the two Exiles to be intruders in that dark palace! They must fight off the relentless sentinels and search the library for the next clue, or perish within and be forgotten forever.

Summary:Some experiments should never have happened. Having survived the mission on Eriadu, Azizullah and Co. head to Malastare, eager to complete their journey. The next clue points to an abandoned temple, much like before. Once used as a testing ground for dark magic, the decrepit laboratory may contain vital information for their quest into darkness. They breed quickly down there in the dark, but perhaps they can slay them even faster.

Thread Name 11:Footsteps of our Forebears

Summary:Dagobah. The final leg of their miserable journey. The temple which they seek lies in the deepest depths of the swamp planet, whose flora and fauna prevent close landing. Placed in a field a small trek away, the two must journey on foot to reach their prize, but the beasts that stalk the marshes have other ideas.

The task ahead is terrible, and weakness cannot be tolerated.

Summary:At long last: the final, hidden laboratory of the nameless Exile. Deep beneath the swamp, in the warrens of this blasphemous tomb lies the secret that Azizullah has sought for months. Corruption has soaked the soil, and the monstrosities that dwell within are not welcoming of guests. As they fight through the twisted abominations, there alone stands one final guardian of the holocron.

The thing is more terrible than I can describe - an incoherent jumble of organ, sinew, and bone.

Summary:Having recovered their long-sought relic - among other loot - Azizullah and his compatriot must reach their ship and return to familiar grounds, so that he may study its terrible secrets. Unbeknownst to them, though, is that they have been tracked for some time by Jedi hunters who have arrived to put an end to this evil. This will be a fight Azizullah will not allow to pass easily, for he has come too far to be stopped now.

The call to arms has been issued. The Republic has asked for the aid of the Jedi Order to reclaim the planet Balmorra, both to secure their cooperation and to establish a base of operations on the industrial planet. Jedi Knight Fiona MacBheathain, in her finite, often lackluster wisdom, has come up with a battle plan to secure Base 11A from their traitorous brethren. The first phase is to create a cool name for the endeavor. With a name like Operation Talonstrike, what could go wrong?

Thread 1 Name:King of Battle

Summary:Sobrik may be a safe haven for Republic forces, but that won't last long against a sustained attack. Daily artillery strikes hammer the shielded city, causing unease among the populace, both civilian and military. Intelligence reports an Exile-controlled artillery battery several kilometers away from Sobrik. Given the pace of the attacks, it is estimated that there are six weapons platforms in the gun line. Control of those artillery pieces would give the Republic breathing room to conduct operations outside of Sobrik as well as give them the ability to repay the Exiles' generosity.

Summary:Hill 932. Nicknamed the "Meat Grinder" for its position atop a significant piece of key terrain and the deadly potential it holds over the surrounding territory, this hill is in full control of the Exiles. Clearing through, seizing, and securing this hill for the Jedi would give their forces a marked advantage over their enemy. However, uphill battles are never easy, and this one may prove to be rather costly if not handled properly.

Recently, Republic supply convoys have been ambushed and ransacked by marauding forces along a particular stretch of hardball. Republic military officers would like for these attacks to stop so they can get back to their campaign.

Thread 4 Name:Markaran Massacre

Summary:No man, woman, or child is safe in war. The citizens of a small village on the Markaran Plains have learned this lesson all too well. Reports of the entire village being slaughtered have made their way to forces in Sobrik, and morale is waning as a result. If they cannot protect the citizenry, why should Balmorra look to the Republic and the Jedi for aid?

A select team of Jedi will be sent in to clear through these tunnels and secure what is assumed to be a command center within. Unfortunately, intelligence is lacking and we have no clue what to expect inside.

Summary:During a scouting mission atop one of the many mesas in the region, a team of Jedi are engaged by the enemy. The survivors will be able to warn their respective sides of either an impending attack (In the case of the Exiles) or provide valuable information regarding a weak point in their foe’s defenses (for the Jedi).

Summary:Surprise, Concentration, Audacity, and Tempo. These four elements are vital to a successful offensive operation. This team of handpicked Jedi will infiltrate the bunker itself and strike at the head of the serpent: the base commander. This will be a dangerous mission, but success will devastate internal communication among the enemy during the final offensive push to take the base. Whoever goes will be deep in enemy lines alone with only their skill to keep them alive.
