NAME: Paola Marcellinus

Average height for a human woman at 5'8", she has a fair complexion as is common for some one with her hair and eyes. Her blonde hair reaches to the small of her back though it is normally pulled back from her face for ease of work and daily life. It is straight and rather thick and she has found binding it is the easiest way to do this. She is not strikingly beautiful at least not in the classic sense, but neither she is unattractive. All in all she would blend in with a crowd of common people and often be over looked for the most part. Her eyes are a light blue grey in color and are a slight almond in shape. She has a fairly average in build as well, being neither over or under weight for the most part, mostly due to the fact she does take some payments in food gifts for those who have no other way to pay.
She dresses plainly, as benefits some one of her social standing normally in the darker blues, greens, and reds and some blacks of homespun clothing though it is always well maintained and clean. For colder weather she favors a blue grey cloak made out of study wool that is soft from use of wear. Around her neck is a pendent with a purple stone secured with a silver holding.

PERSONALITY:
Fairly pragmatic she tends to take most things in stride as people tend to do when they are not in positions of power. She is rather soft hearted and will try and help when she can, something that as gotten her into trouble more than once. She has not received much formal education, but she has received informal training mostly though experience and though conversations with other people of her occupation and station. Although her ideas do differ some what on the main stream on certain positions.
BIOGRAPHY:
Born on Abafar, the daughter of a a gardener , she came from a middle class family. As such she had a normal sort of childhood. Mostly filled with school, chores, and playing with her friends. Paola was a fairly bookish child even then, even if her grades were not the highest in her class they were enough to be remarked upon, and was something she took no small amount of pride in. There was some rivalry between Paola and her closest friend though it was friendly for the most part. She took the occasional vacation with her family to see the major sights of the galaxy. She came home to her studies, so went most of her young years.
As she grew older it became clear that her family did not have the funds to send her to one of the major universities in the galaxy, she was able to pull her grades up and go on scholarship. Though this caused friction with some factions of students with wealthier parents who paid their way. Paola managed to avoid them for the most part, she finished in the upper half of her class though not at the top. This still meant she was fairly hire able.
The fact that most practices favored wealthier patients and those who were human, often these two things were intertwined bothered her, she felt guilt to know that certain people were not getting the form of treatment they could do to things, that were for the most part, out side of their control. She began to study medicine with that in mind rather than the more orthodox ways of her peers. Although this did not win her friends. Nor did it pull in the amount of credits other people were getting. It also lead to her suspecting there was a pro human basis in most medical fields though she can not prove this as of yet.
Her thoughts on these matters tend to get her border line black listed when she does not keep her mouth shut about them, however, Paola has earned a reputation for speaking out about them.
