Do you know what it's like to have a hotshot Sector Ranger for a dad? One that's barely at home, always too busy with his work to know how well his daughters are doing in school, or how his wife is coping in her job as a meditech?

Well... Penny does.

Penny is the eldest of three daughters in her home. Her Dad is barely around, off being a hotshot Ranger, trying to bump up that arrest record and impress his bosses. Mom tries her best to fill in, but she's busy too. Penny saw more of her teachers than her parents until she was 14. She practically helped raise her two younger sisters.

They moved to Coruscant when she was ten which kinda ruled, because Coruscant is at the heart of everything with really cool museums, theatres and everything. It was also pretty, incredibly scary because it's a world with more people than she can imagine, in a city packed up so close and tight that she gets wicked nervous.

Penny does well in school but often finds herself distracted with what she could become. When she was younger, Penny wanted nothing more than to be a Ranger like her Dad and make him proud. Now, she'd rather do anything else. (She thought about her Mom's job too, but she faints at the sight of blood.) It feels like there is a whole, huge Galaxy out there with so much more to discover. Maybe one day she'll get to go out there, explore it and find her true self.

One day.

Maybe not today.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Penny is a clever, caring and knowledgeable teenage girl. She lacks confidence and overcompensates by talking loudly, almost brashly, to everyone around her. She likes to show off what she knows and can be very competitive. She has the time of her life solving puzzles and reading mystery stories. She has a secret weakness for young adult romance novels, particularly if they involve troubled protagonists and hot supernatural beings.

Hardcore Nerd Girl: Penny is the girl that pays attention in every class, aces most tests and does research for fun. This gives her a good understanding of a bunch of different topics, from Galactic History to Maths, from chemical reactions to musical notation.

Junior Sector Ranger: Penny's dad taught her plenty of different techniques when she was younger. He used to take her out to trail people, through busy markets or packed streets. He taught her how to follow someone carefully, how to hide your presence and how to make sure nobody catches you when you're following them.
