Phoenix had spent about a week in his new home, A small living quarter(s?) on the Sith homeworld. He was amazed that a Sith Master had agreed to train him even though he had such a small amount of control over the force. Phoenix had spent all of his spare time studying archives of Darth Nexus's previous "students", so he knew what to expect. Kneel when he enters, expect pain... All of the things that he had heard about the Sith. Phoenix was now sitting in a training room, wondering what all he would learn. Would he build his lightsaber the first day? Then he could kill people so much more easily. He was suddenly overwhelmed with excitement. He could return to his old city and destroy it completely! Phoenix heard a voice inside of him telling him to calm down. Suddenly, he heard his new Master approaching the room. Phoenix knelt, his boneless neck dangling his head less than a centimeter from the ground.

((You don't have to post immediately, I just wanted to set this up so I wouldn't forget.))

Nexus was fairly angry, he was very busy at the moment, he had little time to train new Sith. He hoped that he wasn't another crazed killer hoping to become more powerful for the soul reason to hurt. "Get up! I have no time for frivalties such as this. Your name, and why you want to become a Sith." Nexus said, impatiantly. "Now!"

Phoenix stood, and telepathically spoke to his Master, "My name is Phoenix, and I wish to become a Sith because I want to have the knowledge and the power to destroy things that ruin the universe. I want to get rid of everything that gets in my way when I travel towards whatever goal I pursue."

((I edited this because the first try sucked.))

"Wrong answer." Nexus said, as he lifted Phoenix and tossed him across the room to collide with the wall. "You have no goal besides what I give you, and if you advance, what the Dark Lord gives you. You understand?"

Phoenix hit the wall with such a force that it began to bend. He was suddenly very dizzy and a bit confused. "I understand, Master. I will pursue only the goals that you give me."
Phoenix staggered back to the center of the room to face his Master. "I am ready to begin training."

((Okay, should I look for a new master? I think that silently waiting for a response for an entire month is being more than patient, and I would really like to RP in this war.))

((I'm quickly loosing interest with the Sith. So I would recomend if you want a lively training to search for some other Sith. However, since mrun killed off Hauron, I don't think there are any other Sith that are often online. So I'll continue. Also, ever thought I may have forgotten, if you had given me a PM I would have replied much sooner.))

"Very good." Nexus said, as he went over to a small locker. "I shall test your skills with the blade. Take this sword." Nexus said, as he handed Pheonix a wooden sword. "And attack me with it. Go all out, I shall not be harmed."

Phoenix took the wooden sword and stepped into a low offensive stance. He waited for a few seconds, feeling the weight and balance of the sword. Suddenly, he jumped forward, using one of his feet to push himself to the left, then stepping perfectly with the other to push himself back towards the center for an attempt to stab his Master's side.

(((This will be one of my last posts as Nexus, except for some things I need to do for the war. So, I'm going to speed up your training, in four or so posts, I'll get you to Knight. If that is alright with you.)))

Nexus parried the blows easily enough. He was quite skilled, that was for sure. Nexus was surprised when he went to parry the blow at his side, for when he turned, a bolt of unbearable pain had rushed through him, through the wound created by the Jedi he had fought before.

Screaming in agony, he blacked out, and collapsed in a heap on the floor.

((Yeah, speeding it up's okay with me.))

Phoenix took a small step back as Nexus parried the blows, and readied himself to make another attack when he saw Nexus fall. He rushed over to his unconscious master. He attempted to wake Nexus, still a bit confused as to what was happening.

"Where the hell am I?" Nexus said, his voice wavering in and out of pitch.

He was floating in his own mind. He realised it as a familiar place. The ground broken, floating aimlessy in space. Floating towards the ground, he headed to a glowing pool of water. Staring into the pool, he gazed upon what he believed to be a battle. Raging around him,he fought, and fell. This was a premonition of his own death.

It was then he realised he must use the forbidden techniques to his pupil. His eyes shooting open, he bolted upright, and turned to his pupil. "Follow me." He said, as he rushed out of the room, "We're heading to a tomb."

Phoenix ran after his master. "What tomb?" he asked. When he had accessed videos of his Master's training, he had noticed a sudden change in appearance. Phoenix wondered if these things had a connection.

"Someone who will help you greatly." Nexus said flatly.

Walking swiftly through the temple, Nexus rushed past the gate guards. Kicking open the doors, he shaded his eyes with his hand, blocking the blinding sun from damaging him. "I can go with you untill I call him." Nexus said, getting his bearings, then turning and walking towards the East, "But once he's called, it's up to you. If he kills you, it will only be your falt."

Stopping at an even place on the ground, Nexus brushed his foot across it, uncovering a tablet. "This will impart enough knowledge to allow you skilled use in a lightsaber, and enough force knowledge to combat him. It will only last a few hours, so you must not dally."

Continuing his path, he called back to his pupil. "Just stand in the center, it'll do the work for you." Facing the bottom of a sheer cliff, Nexus waved his hand, the air rippling, and eventualy revealing the entrance to the tomb. "Catch up when you're done, I need to do some preperations."

Phoenix followed close behind his master as they traveled towards the tomb. He examined the tablet, feeling a strange presence somewhere near him. When Nexus called back to him, Phoenix ran over, just in time to see the entrance of the hidden tomb revealed.

"So I will be fighting a deceased Sith Lord?" Phoenix inquired, as he took his first step into the ancient monument for the dead. He walked a few paces forward, at a slightly faster speed, and turned around to see if his master had any advice to offer.

Nexus said nothing, and continued down the sloped entrance, torches lighting as he walked. Running down to the center, Nexus waited for his pupil. "Yes and no." He said, turning towards the coffin and pushing the slab open. Pulling out a very old lightsaber. Throwing it to Phoenix, he added. "You'll use that. Ignite it, and he will come forward."

(((I'll be playing your oponent.)))

Phoenix followed Nexus further into the tomb, and caught the lightsaber that was thrown to him. He carefully inspected it, and then ignited it. "Then who will I be fighting?"

"Me." A voice called, echoing throughout the tomb. Getting out of the Tomb, Nexus sneared at the man infront of him. It was him. Well, it was Néron.

"And me." Nexus said, igniting his blade, Néron doing the same, a blade materializing. "You must kill us both, for if you don't, we shall kill you." Nexus said.

Néron and Nexus bolted, each running at Phoenix, Nexus heading right, Néron left. "I hope you will show me your true potential." Nexus said, before flying towards Phoenix, his blade swinging down ovcer his headm Néron coming up behind and slashing at his legs.

(((God mode us to a certain degree. You shall be killing both of us, but at the same time you won't.)))

Phoenix was a bit behind on his reflexes, probably because of the shock of having not one but two versions of his master attacking him. He spoke to his attackers telepathically, in order to save his breath. "An interesting setup," He said as they came at him, "But I may have forgotten to tell you something." Phoenix jumped up as Nexus and Néron attacked him, spinning slightly in order to make his body parallel to the ground. "You see, we Quermians are pretty flexible, seeing as we have no spines," He said as he kicked toward Nexus' chin and bent backwards to attempt to stab Néron's back. Meanwhile, he revealed his third and fourth arms from under his cloak, and aimed them at Nexus. "Now, after I've just met you, you think that you are training me by trying to kill me?!" He shot concentrated attacks of Force Lightning towards Nexus' chest.

Nexus spun out of the way of the kick, but was hit by a small portion of the lightning. Nerus wasn't as fortunate, however, and as he jumped up to avoid Phoenix's attack he was stabbed in the leg. Nexus moved to the side as Phoenix was about to land and Nerus, who now had to support himself with one leg, changed the direction of his attack so that his lightsaber came upwards toward Phoenix. Phoenix attempted to move out of the way of the blow, but was unable to avoid it completely and was hit in the leg, causing near-unbearable pain to shoot through him. Then, to make things worse, as he was about to land Nexus Force pushed him with so much strength that he flew across the tomb and hit a giant pillar. "Well now we're just making a mess of things," Phoenix said as about a third of the pillar fell down towards him. He used the Force to hold the debris in the air, and had just barely moved it away when Nerus shot Force Lightning at him. He was too busy moving the stone to block the attack, so instantly he felt thousands of volts of pain rushing through his body. The attack continued as Nexus ran toward his immobile apprentice and slashed toward Phoenix's neck. In the instant that Phoenix saw the lightsaber coming down, he physically yelled out, "I WILL NOT BE KILLED AT THE HANDS OF MY OWN MASTER!" He re-ignited his lightsaber, the Force Lightning still coming at him, and blocked Nexus' attack with such force that Nexus' lightsaber nearly flew out of his hands. Phoenix Force Pushed Nexus away, but Nexus was able to catch himself before he had moved even a meter away. The Lightning had now stopped, and Nerus was rejoining the lightsaber combat. The three of them all rushed at each other simultaneously, the masters and the apprentice hitting each other in an explosion of sparks. Nexus now attacked Phoenix's legs while Nerus swung diagonally towards the head. Phoenix jumped backwards, grunting in pain as he landed on his bad leg, then rushed forward again, this time faking an attack at Nexus then spinning around in a fraction of a second to slash at Nerus' side. Nerus was unable to fully block the attack and had a chunk carved out of his side. He screamed in agony, which distracted Phoenix for a moment, which was all that was necessary for Nexus to take advantage of this situation. Phoenix had his back turned to Nexus, so Nexus made a quick, strong stab at Phoenix. Phoenix spun around a moment too late, and as he swung his lightsaber toward his master with one arm, Nexus' lightsaber sliced through his other arm. Phoenix fell to his knees, screaming as his severed arm fell beside him. However, he was momentarily distracted from his pain by what he saw as he glanced over to see his attackers. Nexus' blade had continued through Phoenix ant into Nerus' chest. Nexus seemed not to care at all about the death of his ally, and as he pulled his lightsaber from Nerus, he turned back to face Phoenix. Nexus raised one of his hands so it pointed at Phoenix' throat. Phoenix tried as hard as he could to gasp for air as he rose up and saw Nexus raise his lightsaber. Phoenix tried to ignite his lightsaber, only to remember that he had dropped it a second earlier. Nexus was now close enough to reach Phoenix with his lightsaber. Phoenix focused on his own lightsaber as hard as he could. Suddenly, at the same moment that Nexus began to bring his lightsaber along in a sweep to decapitate Phoenix, Phoenix's own blade shot up into his hand. He ignited it, and simultaneously blocked Nexus' attack and smashed his hand against Nexus' face, sending Force lightning through his Master. Nexus' Force choke ended as he dropped his lightsaber to the ground. Phoenix could feel Nexus' features change as the Sith Master's head began to glow blue. Nexus shoved Phoenix, and shot him across the room with a Force Push that ripped the ground open. As Phoenix flew towards the back of the tomb, he spun around. As he reached the back wall he Pushed himself back, and as he dived toward Nexus he pulled back his lightsaber. Nexus had his lightsaber ready to block when Phoenix brought his own forward. But Nexus didn't expect what Phoenix did next. He threw his lightsaber past Nexus, ducked under Nexus' lightsaber, and Force kicked his master as hard as he could. Bones cracked in Nexus' ribcage as he flew backwards toward the lightsaber that Phoenix was holding up with the Force. Nexus was going so fast that as the blade went through his brain he slid across the handle and off the blade completely. Both Nexus and the lightsaber fell in a heap on the floor. Phoenix sat down on the floor and examined his arm. Both Nexus and Nerus lay dead on the ground, and the tomb was slowly falling apart around him when Phoenix stood up to leave.

The tomb was shaking tremendously under the force being used. As Phoenix rose to leave, both Nexus and Néron's bodies started to disapear, turning into black smoke, which then rushed behind Phoenix and materialized into Nexus.

Igniting his blade, he rested it on the small of Phoenix's back, searing a mark into it. "Good job. However, you have only aided me in my task. You see, by defeating those two, you drew all of the latent force in this tomb." Nexus said, walking around to face the shocked Phoenix. "And that all absorbed into the smoke those two created."

Stepping back, nexus was quickly enveloped in a large mass of blackness. The shadow's in the room swirled, and then there was nothing. No shadow, no light, no tomb. They were back in the training room.

"Very good. As you can see, the power bestoid upon you by the tomb has stayed, and you are now a Knight." Nexus said, smiling sinisterly. "However, you are still my apprentice. And I may call upon you in the future."

Turning around, Nexus' walked through a portal of smoke. And was gone. Nobody would see him for many years now. He had deserted the Sith, or so it would seem. He learned something while fighting his pupil. The Sith were only an obstacle.
