Photoshop, illustration, Etc

Hey there peeps. I recently rediscovered an old Macbook that my family has owned for awhile. It works alright so far and I am planning on using it to toy around with both IOS and specifically Photoshop and illustrator. I want to eventually get to the point of making art from scratch if possible and if I find I really like it again (I once used to love it) I might invest in another computer that is far newer with better software. If you guys have any information on good tutorials, software or anything that might help me get into the groove of that sort of thing I would appreciate it.
