Sullust was really far out from Coruscant, but she'd chosen to come herself rather than pay the import taxes for the cargo. The SoroSuub Corporation had warehouses on Coruscant, yes, but she couldn't get the newest models of the Imagecaster or the Hush-98 comlink without going to the source of their production. It was a bit of a pain in the ass, but it was worth it to her. With her hands on the new models, she could integrate them into her droids and maybe even attempt to reverse engineer the code into something she could call unique to her oranimals.

After a long day on Sullust, Ora was finally all set to leave. She'd hired a pilot to fly her and the cargo back to Coruscant because she couldn't take a passenger ship, and she'd spent the last thirty minutes loading the boxes onto the cargo transport. They contained various tech components, from the Imagecasters and Hush-98 comlinks she'd already come intending to buy, to advanced sensors and other technological parts. Once it was loaded up, the pink-skinned Nautolan leaned against the side of the ship to catch her breath.

"I wonder if we'll be leaving soon?" She began to look around for the pilot whose name had since slipped from her mind. "Louis? Louie? Luke?" He'd gone off somewhere after giving her the go to load up; he should be back soon, she assumed.

Business was slow on Sullust, so Louis tried throwing himself out there to try and get some gigs as a pilot. Working on starships would always be a passion for him, but Louis wanted to be something a little more than just some mechanic. Luckily for him, a job opportunity surfaced with just the kind of starting job he needed. It was a simple cargo run from Sullust to Coruscant for a newer company called Orauatomatons.

So, after he got into his piloting suit, Louis wanted to get a feel for the cockpit of the ship he was flying. There were a few scratches and dents here and there, the circuitry for a few of the basic autoemitters was a little dusty, but it was still in decent enough condition by Louis' standards. He couldn't complain either. This job had absolutely improved his self esteem and he wasn't going to let Ora Trel down.

After leaving the cockpit, Louis found Ora where he left her. Louis couldn't bring himself to look her in the eye because sometimes it felt weird- like they were learning your darkest and deepest secrets just by looking at you -and so it was just easier to avoid it all together. However, Louis was always smiling his friendly and gentle smile. There was always a reason to smile, or so Louis thought, so he always made sure he looked at least somewhat pleasant with his own existence.

"Everything is ready to go." He said, picking his helmet and fastening it to his head. It was a lucky find Louis had come across in a pawn shop. It was some old Resistance fighter pilot helmet that was mainly black and red with an orange visor. However, to accommodate for his glasses he removed the visor and made little inserts that kept his glasses from flying off his face when he flew at blinding speeds. "Anything you need to be taken care of before we take off? Thanks again for the job. I really needed it."

"Ah, there he is!" Ora didn't have to wait long before the man himself showed his face again. He'd come from inside the ship, so the Nautolan made the assumption he was in there getting everything all ready. His words confirmed that, so she gave him a grin in response.

"Oh, perfect! I just got everything all packed up so I'm all ready!" The Nautolan snapped her fingers into finger guns and did the ol' one-two shooting motion, oblivious to his lack of eye contact or any awkwardness he might be exuding. "Don't mention it!" Ora clapped her hands together, failing to mention she'd hired him mostly because he had one of the cheaper going rates. If he was a good pilot though, maybe she'd keep hiring him!

The Nautolan closed up the cargo hold, then made her way into the ship. The ship seemed a bit old, but it wasn't bad. A bit dusty, maybe. "Do you have a co-pilot droid?" she would ask while snooping around with her eyes. "Does this thing have an intercom system?"

She hoped he liked music because she was definitely putting some on.

"No. I'm used to flying by myself." Louis replied simply. Ora was also a very pleasant person, which made things easier for Louis. He worked fine under pressure, but he preferred there be no pressure to begin with. "Yes. There's one over in the cockpit and another outside the door leading into the cockpit. Not sure why the manufacturers did that, but that's where they are." The pilot pointed over his shoulder towards the little corridor that led into the cockpit. "I'll start the engines up, so strap yourself in." And off to the cockpit he went.

After getting the ship started up, Louis tapped into the intercom systems.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. Make sure all small children, pets, little droids, and thermal imploders are well attended to and remember to enjoy your flight." The ship lurched off the ground steadily before Louis gently accelerated the freighter until they were out of the loading area and in the air. "I always wanted to say that. Oh-" Louis laughed at himself after he realized the intercom was still on, pressing the button to shut it off.

Once they breached the atmosphere, the pilot took some time to marvel at the infinite expanse of space before him. One day, he'd find his place among all those stars. One day... He repeated to himself before plugging in the coordinates for Coruscant on the navigation system. "Just about ready to make the jump to hyperspace." Louis said, forgetting that he had turned off the intercom.

"Used to flying by himself, huh?" No droids was no fun! Not that she had all that much room to speak seeing as she was currently without a droid herself, but that wouldn't be the case for long.

He told her to head back and "strap herself in", so the Nautolan gave him another thumbs-up as he disappeared off, then squinted at the intercom system. It didn't seem like the sort she could plug into and blast music through. "Man, what a shame!" Ora continued to peer at the intercom, now close enough so she could try to peer in at the electric components. She jumped back when they crackled to life, startled.

"Aye aye, captain!" Ora fell into a short fit of laughter, amused by herself and the way she'd flinched so violently away from the sound. She scooted herself over to the seats, clicked the seatbelt into place, and then kicked her feet up onto the other seats. The Nautolan pulled her datapad out of her bag and set it on her lap, then reached further into it to search around for her droid. This happened precisely as Louis made the jump to hyperspace, and the lurch sent her bag across the room and pushed the belt into her stomach. "OOF!"

"Ow..." Now that they were en route, she could at least unbuckle. So, Ora did that, then scrambled after her bag to scoop everything back up into it.

Well that's odd... Louis wasn't sure why, by the navigation systems were acting up. Maybe it was just the dusty circuits? Louis pressed a few buttons that he thought would work, but then a bunch of red flashing lights began flashing. I can fix this... He panicked, and flipped two switches, hoping it would fix the problem. Which, it sort of did...but not the way Louis wanted.

The ship was no longer in hyperspace and was now hurling through space. Louis grit his teeth as he tried straightening out the freighter, which ended much better than how this all started.
"Sorry about that! Navigation system is busted- I can fix it!" Louis called back to Ora- who hopefully wasn't too upset with the situation. The engineer got to work, taking a few panels out of the cockpit so he could see what needed to be fixed.

I will fix this...

Ora finished scooping everything back into her bag - save her datapad which was still sat over on the chairs - and a small droid designed to look like a spider. She pulled a tiny little tool out from a band on one of her tendrils and immediately began to fuss with the little thing - a scene that looked almost like a burglar trying to pick a lock with a bobby pin.

She paused when red lights began to flash in the cabin as the sudden change in environment caused her to jump a bit. "What's going on?" The Nautolan shoved her droid into her pocket, grabbed her bag, and quickly hurried back to her chair. Ora got there just as the ship dropped out of hyperspace and only barely caught herself from falling by latching onto the armrests.

"WHAT'S GOING ON?" she shouted up, confusion lacing her voice. He answered soon after and said something about the navigation system.

"Shit, that's no good." Ora left her bag behind on her chair, hurried up through the corridor, then peeked around the corner into the cockpit to see what was up. "Ugh, everything all good up here?"

The answer was apparently a "no", but maybe she could help?

So the problem wasn't just the navigating systems, but the class 2 hyperdrive was taking too much much power from the ship, which resulted in the navigation system's short circuit. Now that Louis knew what the problem was, he could hopefully get it fixed fast enough to get a start on the run. Hopefully Ora wasn't too upset- 720 light freighters were an old model anyway, but it wasn't anything Louis Lorsoni couldn't fix!

"Well, not entirely. I know what needs to be fixed, though." Louis began to put away all but one of the paneling back into their original spots. The one he left out held a a circuit junction that acted like the heart of the ship, almost. All that was needed was for someone to go to the back of the ship and jump start the hyperdrive at the same time Louis transferred more power to the navigation system instead of the hyperdrive.

"So, there's going to be a blue button on the side of the right most engine in the back. On my mark, I need you press that button." Louis explained. When everything seemed to be running smoothly, another anomaly decided to interrupt the trip. There were three more ships that were also appearing out of hyperspace, according to the radar, but it wasn't advanced enough to ID the other starships. Louis was hoping they were here to see if the two were alright, but what came next tarnished any feeling of relief he had left for the situation.

"This be Captain Killian of the Haxion Brood! Ye are 'bout to be boarded and plundered." Said a gravely voice over the intercom.

"Not entirely? Oh no..." Ora walked a few steps further into the cockpit as she nervously stroked one of her head tendrils. At least he said he knew what needed to be fixed. "So what's the issue? Anything I can do to help?"

Louis explained, and Ora nodded dutifully as he did. "Blue button, right side of right-most engine - got it!" As soon as he finished, Ora turned on a dime and quickly headed for the back of the ship. The ship was of an old design, but she was still able to find her way into the back without much issue. She passed by the storage compartment and finally entered the engine room just as the intercom crackled to life again. Ora let out a nervous gasp - worried that Louis was about the send the signal before she was ready - but the voice that came over the intercom was not the pilot.

"This...Capt...ian of the Ha......Ye are.......e boarded.....undered."

Ora reacted with a face muddled with confusion. "Captain who? Who's boarding us?" Were they friendly or...not? Anxiety wracked her chest, so she quickly shoved her hand into her pocket and pulled the spider droid back out. The ARAC-series prototype couldn't do much at the moment, but it had a comlink installed that connected to hers. If she could get it up to Louis, he could communicate with her from there.

CRASH!

The ship lurched a bit as something roughly connected to the docking ring. Ora let out a surprised squeak - eep! - and quickly darted behind an engine. "ARAC, you hear me boy?" She activated the droid and its eyes lit up red. Upon her prompting, it let out a series of beeps that indicated the affirmative. "Okay! I need you to make your way up to the front of the ship...but don't let anyone see you! Find a man with glasses in the cockpit and then connect our comlink."

The ARAC prototype skittered off, and Ora began to look for the blue button while keeping a nervous eye on the door.

Louis was in almost-panic mode. He wasn't freaking out in the fetial position or anything, but he felt like that would be the most comfortable thing to do right now. Instead, there were pirates and a malfunctioning ship to worry about. He was able to watch the three ships fly over and next to the freighter. They were Rasmus-Class assault ships, which meant that these pirates were the real deal.

Decked with heavy weaponry with enough room to fit a boarding party, Louis wasn't quite sure of a plan to deal with the pirates. Then, a mechanical spider looking robot bounded into the cockpit with a little comlink in his pincers. It must have been Ora! Louis grabbed the comlink and scratched the droid's abdomen appreciatively.

"Hello? Ora? Are you alright?" Louis said in a hushed tone through the comlink. Just then, the hissing and screeching of the docking bay doors opening sent shivers up his spine. Pirates! Real life pirates were about to board and probably steal everything they came across. The Haxion Brood were notorious bounty hunters and mercenaries back in the day, and Louis hoped they didn't match their once frightful prowess.

"They're boarding. We still have a few seconds, so we can still fix the hyperdrive. On my mark...three...two...ONE!"

"...three...two...ONE!"

It hadn't taken her long to find the button, so by the time her ARAC droid got up to Louis she was poised and ready. On his count of one, she pressed the button and hoped to something that the latency wasn't too high between the comlinks. If something happened, she wasn't sure, but the Nautolan was getting her ass out of sight.

"We've got to get rid of these pirates! I can't lose this cargo!" Ora whisper-shouted into her comlink as she crouched over to one of the ventilation shafts. She'd already paid for the damn things, so there was no way in hell she was going to let it go! "Can you break away from their ship anyway? We might be able to take care of a few... but definitely not all of them!"

She could feel her hands shaking even as she took in deep breaths to steady them. It took her a minute, but she eventually got the vent open and was able to squeeze inside. "It's a good thing I'm on the smaller side," she thought to herself as she gently placed the vent back on. Just as she did, a pirate wandered into the room.

"Ain't no body back here, boss! All clear!"

Louis smiled brightly as the circuit junction flickered to life, flashing a green light that meant the ship's power was well and balanced. With that problem out of the way, Louis could now function on the other more frightening one. The docking bay doors had been opened already, and the engineer could hear footsteps that did not sound like they belonged to Ora's smaller build. However, Louis was in a literally pinch. The way this freighter was designed made the cockpit a death trap for a situation like this. There was nowhere to run.

"Not currently, no. I have company." Louis panic-whispered into the com to answer Ora before turning it off for the time being. He was glad she was alright, it took a little less of the guilt off his shoulders. None of this was supposed to be happening.

So, Louis stood up tall and awaited to meet the pirate that belonged to the loud clanking footsteps. To his surprise, and detriment, it was a large droid that had seemed to be modified into some sort of war robot.
"Look at what we've got here! A lone pilot stuck in the middle of nowhere- Easy pickings for the Brood, heheheh..." The droid's voice was a little too malicious and excited for Louis' liking. "Oh! Uh, yes...Just me. I'm the pilot." Louis wasn't sure what else to say or do, so he gave the droid a salute. The bounty droid seemed confused, too, so it simply grabbed Louis by the collar and guided him down the corridor.

"The Captain will want to speak with you, cannon fodder." The droid chuckled unsettlingly again. As they walked, Louis was scrambling his mind to think of a plan, but nothing obvious came to mind until he stepped foot onto the opposing starship's hull. Bingo! It was going to be crazy, but if it worked, Ora and Louis would be homefree.

Louis shut off the comms, and Ora felt her heart begin to beat faster. "He has company?" Anxiety wracked her chest, adrenaline rushed through her veins, and the Nautolan began to crawl even quicker through the dusty ventilation shafts. She began to hear muffled voices coming through the vent grates she passed over, saying things such as "it's just a bunch of gadget do-dads?" and "are we doing all this just for some holocoms?" Another voice piped up, chastising them for complaining and adding something about new tech being worth decent money on the right planets.

"Damn them, leave my shit alone!" Ora continued to crawl, but she did her best not to make any noise as she passed over the storage room where the pirates were assessing her cargo. She needed to get up to the cockpit where Louis was.

"...The Captain will want to speak with you, cannon fodder." A different voice reached the Nautolan this time. It was modular, artificial, and followed its comment with a chuckle that was unmistakably that of a droid. "A droid!" Ora knew droids.

"But what can I do?" She didn't have her gun; it was in her bag in the main cabin. Ora really didn't want to try and square up with pirates when she had no training with the damn thing. Maybe she could somehow lure them into the airlock and vent them?

Okay, so the captain was not what Louis was expecting. He had the voice of a true mercenary, but the small body of the Anzellan was...amusing. That was a polite way to put it. Very amusing. However, the captain had this furious glare that would've been comical if he wasn't already aiming a comically large heavy blaster pistol at Louis.

"It be I! Captain Killian- Who be you? And what be yeh doin' out 'ere in nowhere?" The Haxion Brood bounty droid nudged Louis forward to speak. "I was making a shipment when the navi-computer malfunctioned." Louis explained sheepishly. "Aye. Good thing, yeh did! Gar har har!" The Anzellan chuckled in that deep raspy voice of his. "Throw 'em in the airlock!" The Captain cheered and the rest of the crew chuckled darkly. "W-wait! You can't do that yet." Louis began racking his brain for an idea while the rest of the crew stared at him skeptically. "How so?"

"Um...oh, well there's this really big piece of cargo in my ship that needs an access code. It's one of those old fashioned ones so code cylinders won't work." The Captain nodded his head and gestured for the rest of his crew to get inside the freighter, including the droid. "Where be the location of such treasure?" Asked Killian. X marks the spot. Louis' gentle smile widened a bit. The Anzellan tilted his head, "What's the location, scag?" Demanded the small pirate. "Oh! Sorry, uh, it's held in a compressor room to keep it air tight. There should be a red X on the blast doors." The Anzellan smiled with Louis, but it was much more malicious.

Hopefully, if Ora was still alright, she could find a way to trap the crew in the airlock and dispose of the pirates. Then, because the pirates had done all the heavy lifting, the gadgets Ora had were already on the Rasmus so Louis and Ora just had to jump ship. The Anzellan was small, so taking him out wouldn't be too hard, right? The little captain had taken out a commlink that looked like a full sized dataphone for the little creature.
"What's the password?" Captain Killian jerked his blaster towards Louis.

"It's O...R...A...T...R...A...P." It was not the code that would open the airlock, but hopefully it would be the code that Ora needed to know what was about to happen. "If that doesn't work, it's probably S-W-T-C-W...S-E-5...E-P-11."

"What was that?" Ora felt a weight drop in her chest at the sound of little metal footsteps, but she sighed in relief when it was just the yellow-painted ARAC prototype she'd left with Louis. It must've slipped into one of the vents to find her!

"ARAC!" Ora whisper-shouted as the droid reached her. She used a finger to pat its head, then explained her plan to it. "I need you to lead me to the airlock. We're going to try and vent these bastards"

The Nautolan made her way there with the droid. It seemed the pirates were fumbling with the keypad, but Ora was able to slip inside through the vents. She inched inside, careful not to make any noise to alert them to her presence, then addressed ARAC again. "Go down and override the door," she whispered. "Once it's open, turn your magnetics on and open the airlock. Shut it as soon as they're gone." The droid beeped at her quietly, then slipped through the grates of the vent and began to do as she instructed.

"The code ain't work- never mind!" One of the pirates - the one on the keypad - began to radio back, but cut himself off when the doors opened. Before he could comment on the distinct lack of anything in the room, ARAC opened up the airlock. Ora could feel the wind rush out of the vent as the vacuum of space began to suck the air and the people into its inescapable maw. Shouts of surprise soon turned into silence, and ARAC closed the door as instructed.

"Good boy!" Ora dropped out of the vent, then ran over and scooped ARAC up into her pocket. "Now, let's go get Louis!"

The woman made a beeline to the main cabin and headed straight for her bag which luckily had gone untouched. She reached into, grabbed her heatbeam pistol, then slung the bag over her shoulder and headed cautiously toward the docking hallway. "Surely that was most of them?" She could take one or two... right?

Captain Killian had quickly lost interested after about maybe a few seconds prior to Louis giving the access codes. Now the little Anzellan was humming some song about rum and hoes or something- all Louis really cared about as Ora at the moment. Louis was stuck sitting at the feet of a menacing Bounty Droid- but it didn't bother him. The Engineer was too busy spiraling into worse case scenarios to care about a morbid battle droid.

"Uh...Captain?" The bounty droid inquired of his singing small boss. "Not now, Shelly! Imma singin' for thy sweet-sweet treasure!" Exclaimed the deranged pirate captain. "...I told you not to call me that when we worked..." Replied the bounty droid sheepishly. "Thou art not workin' scallywag- yew sittin' around! Work, Shelly! Work!" It was slightly amusing for Louis to watch the tiny captain intimidate a literal death droid. The Haxion Brood bounty droid flinched as if it was preparing for punishment before making a small salute and dashing towards the airlock.

C'mon, Ora where are you... If Louis' plan worked, then the remaining crew would've been out in space by now. "Hey! You ain't one of my crewmates..." Louis heard the bounty droid threaten darkly. His heart skipped a beat and then nearly stopped- Ora was okay! But now she was facing off against Shelly the Terrible! The Engineer began thinking quickly again, trying to figure something out. Then, he remembered the small Anzellan before him singing and dancing to his small heart's delight.

Before Louis could even come up with a plan, he dove for the Anzellan, tackling it ripping it's heavy blaster pistol from it's small hands. "ARGH! GEROffmeh-" Louis easily overpowered the small alien and covered it's mouth, but gave it some room to breath through his nostrils. Then, a sharp piercing pain shot into his hand, causing the Anzellan to jump free. "You...you bit me!" Louis cried out in shock as he examined the bite mark on his hand. He thought that maybe if he held the Captain hostage, Ora would be alright- hopefully she was as good with droids as she said she was.

"Good eye, wiseass." Captain Killian then put his small hands into fists and began jumping back and forth like he was in a boxing ring. "Now put 'em up, me hearty!!" Rabbled the crazy pirate captain. By the Force... Louis got to his feet and made fists, too. How hard could this be? Killian could fit in Louis' hand-

POW!

Louis didn't see it coming, but the little man had jumped into the air high enough to bash the engineer in the nose, sending him a few steps back. I wonder if Han Solo had to do this... Louis sighed before putting his hands back up. This time, when Killian leapt into the air, Louis was ready and swatted him out of the air. The Captain quickly rebounded and jumped again! But Louis batted him him away, as well. This continued a few more times until Killian jumped a little lower this time, punching Louis' own buried treasure.

"Not...fair..." Louis gasped, dropping to his knees. Captain Killian let out a barking laugh, "I'm a pirate, you dirty seadog!"

"Hey! You ain't one of my crewmates—"

Zap! Ora whipped her pistol around toward the droid and squeezed the trigger. The continuous squeal of the heatbeam pistol whined into the air with a flash of bright white. She kept the trigger held down, head tilted away as she aimed blindly until the ammo had been completely unloaded into the death droid. When she lowered the weapon and looked back, it was staring blankly at her, riddled with thin lines but somewhat unharmed.

"Wh- what?" It wasn't down? "A heatbeam pistol, really?" laughed the droid as he rolled his mechanical shoulders and began to advance toward her. He didn't use his arm blaster, but instead his hand balled up into a fist. In one quick move, he struck out at Ora, punching the air where her head would've been if she'd not hurriedly ducked out of the way.

"Get over here!" The droid whipped around, fist ready to strike at her again. Ora figured one punch from it would knock her out cold, so in a panic, she grabbed the closest thing she could throw - her ARAC droid. It sailed through the air and landed square on his chest. The droid activated its magnetics and stayed in place.

"HA! What's this tiny little droid gonna do to—"

"ARAC! PUT YOUR WHOLE BATTERY INTO HIM!" Without even an acknowledging response, the spider droid crawled into its chest vents, stuck its mandibles into the bounty droid's chest, and shocked the droid with every ounce of battery it had left. The droid was frozen in place as it was electrocuted, and when the electrical current was cut off, it fell to the ground dead. Ora ran over and pulled ARAC off. "Good boy," she cooed as she dropped it into her bag. It couldn't hear her - it was deader than a doorknob now - but it had saved her life.

"Now, let's save Louis!" The Nautolan woman reached down and broke off the bounty droid's rifle from its arm. She wasn't sure what kind of blaster rifle it was, but it looked pretty straightforward to use. At ten-ish pounds, it was a bit heavy, but not so heavy that Ora couldn't haul ass to where she could hear Louis and someone else talking.

"Put- put your hands in the air!" The Nautolan rounded the corner and swung the gun with her, holding it with poor form, but still pointing a rifle right at the pirate captain.

Louis was absolutely relieved to find that Ora was alive and well. In fact, she even had a blaster on the Captain, albeit a little awkwardly, but still a win nonetheless. When the Anzellan turned to look at the new intruder, Louis tackled the little guy and this time held him in a fierce hug so Killian couldn't escape.

"YARG! Let go of me, you slimy seadogs! Behand me, I say!" The Captain squirmed, but to no avail. Louis and Ora had taken the ship! Eventually, the Anzellan gave up, sighing with defeat. "Aye, this do be the last of Captain Killian and the Haxion Brood..." Louis felt a pang in his heat along with the urge to free the Captain before remembering the words the Anzellan had said earlier, about being a pirate. "Yep. Really a shame." Louis said hurriedly before making his way over to a small crate, opening it with his foot, and then dropping Captain Killian in it before quickly shutting it closed.

There were several holes in the crate, so Louis wasn't afraid of Killian suffocating, but the Engineer was expecting at least a little bit of complaining. But not a sound came from that crate besides the occasional sigh that let everyone know he was still alive. Why did Louis feel so bad for the pirate? Killian tried to have them killed! Sometimes Louis wished he wasn't so damn compassionate. There were somedays he literally couldn't hurt a fly.

but he stopped himself from spiraling further and turned to face Ora.
"Sure gad you're alright. Sorry about all of this...none of it was supposed to happen...I'll...I'll break off and get us headed for Coruscant." Louis always smiled, but it was obvious that the guy really felt bad. So, he hurried to the cockpit, closed the bay doors, and before the other two pirate assault ships could figure out what was happening, Louis had already made the jump to hyperspace.

"H- hey, it's cool! As long as the cargo's safe... I'll- I'll go check on it." She could tell he was feeling some sort of way about the whole situation, but whether it was embarrassment, regret or something else, that she couldn't say. Ora wasn't good with the whole "comforting" thing, so her instinct was to leave the situation. So she let him hurry away, then went off to find where the pirates put the cargo themselves.

Truth be told, Ora didn't know how she felt about the whole debacle either. Though her ARAC droid had technically been the one to open the airlock, her action had led to the deaths of at least four people. She kept telling herself if she hadn't, they might've killed her instead. "They would've taken my cargo!"

Since the Nautolan woman couldn't figure out if she felt bad because she didn't feel remorse for the pirates or because she did, she decided to leave it for later. "Where's the cargo hold?" It couldn't be far! "Oh, here!"

The ship jumped to hyperspace just as she stepped into the room, causing her to stumble further into it. Once she recovered, she began to make inventory of everything in here. In addition to her cargo, there was plenty of other stuff in there too.

"Weapons?" She opened up the lid of one of the crates and was surprised to see the blasters present. "I don't have any use for this." It wasn't hers either, so she'd tell Louis about it and let him hash it out. Turning away, Ora went to make her way back up to the cockpit.

After the ship made the launch, Louis went go check on the Captain. The sound of snoring coming from the crate made the Engineer giggle. The glossy black shine from the heavy blaster pistol that Killian had caught Louis' eye. He picked it up into his hands and examined it, figuring out it had been a refurbished DG-34 Peacemaker. If Louis hadn't recognized it due to his family's...uh, family business, then all those holovideoes of Preef Callo would've done the trick.

It was a better blaster than the DH-17 Louis had, that was for sure. He had left the blaster on the old freighter, too. There wasn't anyone else around that Louis thought would take the gun besides Killian himself, so Louis holstered it. Those fantasies of gunslinging like Preef probably wouldn't come to pass, but at least Louis had a good blaster at his side.

Then, Louis decided to check up on Ora. He found her in the cargo hold, but the cargo she was investigating was not her tech. The crate she opened was housing three NT-242s, one of which was in the disruptor modification. Louis blinked twice before opening another crate, finding pristine DC-17x's along with F-11D's. The next crate held a bunch of CDEF blaster pistols- the Haxion Brood really were something else. Louis was expecting the next crate to hold a rotary cannon but instead two E60-Rs lied next to each other.

"What...What are we supposed to do with all this?" Louis picked up a smaller box, opening it to find a Westar-55. The Engineer handed it to Ora, "Here. Maybe this'll pack a bigger punch than that heatbeam pistol." Ora's smaller frame would've made the gun look even bigger, but Louis thought that she deserved to have such a valuable weapon after taking down the bounty droid. Louis couldn't even win a fight against a frog sized pirate! Speaking of pirates, "What are we gonna do with Killian? He's asleep...but I don't think he'll last in prison. He's pretty depressed. And tiny. Very tiny."
