DESCRIPTION​

Plant Surge, also known as Consitor Sato, is a Light Side Force power that uses the force to channel life energy into plants either to promote simple growth or to attack others. Once upon a time the Jedi Agricultural Corps was a significant branch of the Jedi Order and this power was extremely common amongst it's members and it is not rare for other smaller Light Side organisations to be capable of this technique such as the Ithorian Nature Priests.

These groups most widely utilise the most basic variant of Plant Surge. This method is used to help cultivate crops and assist the growth of plants. This can be applied to a range of useful scenarios from trying to repopulate a dying out species of flora to helping struggling farmland flourish once more. This variation can also be used to simply check the health of the existing plant life.

A more offensive variant of Consitor Sato is to cause close by plant life to rapid grow and move at the user’s silent command. The most common application of this was to try and ensare opponents who aren’t quick enough to avoid the assault. Once the plants entrap the victims it can be exceptionally difficult to break free.

The amount of plant life that can be affected in one usage of this technique depends on the power of the user. Whilst a mere student might be able to help one small plant grow a more skilled master might be able to effect entire fields of crops.

Due to the amount of life energy that must be channelled into a plant to make it grow doing numerous plants at once can be extremely tiring for all but the most powerful Force Adepts. Also being a definite Light Side technique one would need to be quite attuned with this part of the Force to use the technique at all.
