The porter comes with several laser cannons to help protect it when the need arises, making this an effective vehicle for whenever you need cargo delivered throughout the Outer Rim, or any dangerous sector in the galaxy.

This freighter is also equipped with one of the finest civilian grade hyperdrives, with a rating of five, the highest of any non-military starship. The porter can carry up to 300 tons of cargo, or an equivalent of 120 human sized sentients.

I'd like to note that the picture here is being used HERE as well. Seeing as that was posted first, it may be in good taste to change the picture here.

120 MGLT is really fast. You might want to tone it down to the 30-40 range, if not slower, going by how fast the light freighters are on the approved list.

How does 80 sound?
Still really fast IMHO. Even the fast courier ship approved doesn't go faster than 70, and that's the fastest of anything bigger than a starfighter. Really though without the speed thing, it's on the generic side, except maybe the crew requirements being a little low IMHO.

Generic is fine though. It a faction craft and should not be to good. How about 65 speed. That's still really fast in its class.

200 meters and faction tech. Hmmmm....

A 200 meter freighter. Hm. Ok, this would need to go through an expansion request for Czerka. In the meantime, you and Norb could work on this, flesh it out a little bit.

Some notes: you've got a very small amount of escape pods given the passenger capacity. I'd up it to around 10.

With size and cargo capacity, it should be slower. Galavant has a decent speed.

Good news. Gives us a good amount of time to expand the Company, and to refine this design.

@Clayton would you be OK with us using a Proto-type in threads to test it, as a R&D Mission Arc?

@Clayton about the escape pods. I think a typical pod can carry up to 5 people. 2 is enough isn't it?

Not as anything more than a plot device.

What about the other 110 or so passengers?

Of course. It will not be used for anything more than tests, some of which will go wrong. No other non-factional players will be involved, and the only advantage Czerka as a faction will gain from it is a working proto-type ready for production once the Tech is approved and the faction has expanded.

They will die.

But yeah - we can explore that in testing.

This ship for some reason makes me want to make a character who is a legal transporter of goods, without any shadiness to him whatsoever, and just spend his days transporting goods and making money the hard, honest way... XD

Really cool ship tho. Kudos.

I'll archive this for now. When you're ready for that faction expansion you can resubmit.
