Issue 2 came out today I believe. Having read issue 1 before and just finished with 2, some interesting stuff. I'm a way, I am a little fond on the flash backs of Leia growing up on Alderaan.

Anyone else read them? Next issue comes out April 15th.

Only read issue 1 so far, but I'm not as into it as I am into the Vader series, even so, its pretty damn good so far.

I enjoy the flashbacks, it'll be cool to see what else she does to keep the spirit of Alderaan alive.

This is my favorite of the three new comic series so far.

For some reason, I did not care for this third issue too much. Though the beginning bit with Tula was quite interesting.

I know this is a bit late, but what did everyone think of the last issue of the series?
I liked the story but thought the art was terrible especially compared to the rest of the series. It was a bit of a disappointing way to finish a great tale.

I just didn't care for this series, found most of it quite uninteresting.

It was nowhere near as good as Darth Vader or the main Star Wars series for sure. I just liked how it approached the subject of the loss of Alderaan which was something the movies skipped entirely.

Princess Leia isn't, at least in my opinion a very interesting character. The NJO Leia wasn't bad, but from everything else I've seen of people trying to write her they make her appear kind of vapid and deluded which is far from what she is/was.

I liked it a lot more than I liked Darth Vader, which so far has been very meh to me. Darth Vader doesn't feel like Star Wars as much of the other comics do. And I definitely liked the Princess Leia series. The third issue was super rushed, and I think it would've benefited from being a larger mini-series, but overall I enjoyed the story it told. It was a key part in Leia's story. I hope to see Evaan return. She was a good character who I could see recurring in the new canon, much like Rae Sloane from A New Dawn is now recurring all over the place.

I also really liked the art. It was really surprising at first, but then I felt it had a retro 1970s vibe that helped it feel like it definitely followed the events of a film from 1977.

I do like the fact that these comics and novels are introducing new characters to us that we have never heard of in these stories around the Original Film series, like Evaan, Aphra and Sana. Curious on what they will do further with them.

I enjoyed this series, since I just finally got my hands on Leia 5, to finish my set.

Not sure I cared much for the ending, granted they didn't have much choice of what leia would do after her ventures. Evaan is a character I definitely did enjoy in this though, and I hope that maybe she'll make an appearance in more media. Out of the characters introduced so far in the comics and books I've read, I think she may be one of my favorites. Rooting for more appearances.

Yeah, the ending was as if they were stumped themselves on how to end it.

What did you think of the art of the last issue?
I thought it was total rubbish in places, especially compared to the rest of the series. It seemed like they just phoned the last issue in so they could work on something else...
