Tabloid Prison Fire Disaster!

Authorities are now calling for an investigation after fire and riots spread through the max-security prison, the Galactic Correctional Penitentiary, under the watch of Sector Rangers. Reports from surviving guardsmen and inmates recall the chaos that quickly spread shortly after an explosion rocked through the fifth sector hanger. Preliminary reports show possible sabotage and arson to be cause of the fire. The prison has safety protocols in place, but in the latest report publicly released, there was a fallout of communication and procedure. Investigators are also looking into the training received by those responsible for overseeing fire and rescue. Eye witness reported being attacked by one of the firefighters and completely disinterested in doing their job to protect the people and contain the fires, "Completely unprovoked! I thought these guys were professionals, but it seemed like they were there for something else!"

The fire chief officer who oversees prison fire and rescue squad informed of an unauthorized landing moments earlier before the explosion.

Daily Holo had also obtain information that the disgraced Demici family member, Sybella Demici, was also being held at the prison. Ms. Demici is under investigation for the murder and assault of several other members of the noble houses on Serenno and the attack on Sector Rangers at the time of her arrest. The investigation of her involvement is ongoing, however, her body remains unaccounted as debris and cell sections are slowly being cleared and bodies identified. Our reporters reached out to the prison director if this disaster was related to someone breaking out Sybella Demici, but have not received confirmation or comment. Authorities have confirmed many prisoners escaped from the fire disaster and riots and the public should be on the look out, the list of missing inmates can be found on our holopage.
