There have always been conspiracy theories, and there always will be. One of the most popular is about the Republic’s alleged super-soldier projects. There has never been evidence to prove it’s existence, though it is common knowledge that it does, in some form.
Most people think that it’s genetic engineering. Others think it’s to do with cybernetics. More think it’s to do with the force.
All of them are wrong. All of them are right.

“No-one knows his name. Not even he does, anymore.”
“So…”
“So what is he?”
“… yeah.”
“We refer to him as Project X.”
“But-”
“But what is he?”
“… yeah.”
“Not human. Not anymore, that’s for sure…”

The rumours say that the super-soldier failed, that it lost it’s funding, and shut down. They’re wrong. In truth, the project was too successful. Nobody to this day knows how, or why, especially considering no-one survived to tell, but X escaped somehow. slaughtered everyone on his way out, too.

“We boosted everything that we could. You remember project IX? Well, we fixed the flaws. Fixed the main issue too. Free will was a mistake. X isn’t a soldier, Sir. It’s a weapon. Just like a knife. Cold, unfeeling, sharp… A tool, sir.”

X just disappeared. Not hard, in a galaxy this big… Never been seen since, or so they’d have you believe. He surfaces, he has to. You can tell it’s him when an entire village somewhere turns up dead, or when some military facility just closes down. They never say why, do they? Well, that says more than it doesn’t, if you catch my drift…

“It then, what can it do?”
“It… well, it’s easier to let you see for yourself…”
“I see you have faith in it. Those soldiers are using live rounds!”
“Heh. You’ll see why in a moment, sir…”

“Part of his armature. The knife analogy was more fitting that it seemed, huh?”
“What have you done to that man…?”
“We did what you told us to, General. We made him into a weapon. The ultimate weapon.”
“You… you did more than that. You’ve created a monster…”

How do I know all this? What do I know, some drunk in a bar? How come I speak so confidently? Like I know for sure, right?
Well, let’s just say that X isn’t some dumb animal, and there isn’t anyone in the galaxy that knows that better than I do…
