Point taken, but I have another problem. Most missions turn out as 'nothing missions' where I've written a mission- like I did in the past- and it would be taken. After the mission is taken by some users they go off and start it. I don't really remember how far it gets, but I don't think any missions have ever been completed. They all stop because people just don't post. No one is really motivated by missions that are 'nothing.'

That's why it's easier to wait until I need something done and then make a mission thread about it.

That's because those kinds of missions almost ALL require either NPCs or people to try and find a senator, or a bounty hunter or a whatever that the player has to PM and say "I've got this mission that involves me capturing/killing your character, wanna join in?". Almost always, that's received with a point blank "no." As faction leaders it's your job to set up missions. That doesn't mean writing them out and saying "go off and organise it" that means organising it. You have to find the PC if it requires one. Part of this will involve looking at who's in RPs at the moment, and who's active. And these missions can easily be done between factions, involving Bogan going against Jedi, or Republic, or the Jedi against the Taungs, or and Indy faction, or whatever. The reason these missions are nothing is because they don't really do anything, they're just generic ideas written down.

Sheo's just started a slaving subfaction of the Bogan, surely there's something in there you could organise? A Jedi Knight has just turned away from the Order and a Dark Jedi master has been in the Temple grounds on Coruscant, there's loads of potential there. A senator is just about to be assassinated, send people to investigate that. Make them actually do an investigation, with the PC eyewitnesses etc.

There's loads of stuff out there, flick through the story, look at the new RP profiles and put stuff together between yourselves and you'll see a lot more active missions, especially with Bac's stick/carrot incentive.

I'm working on creating Shadow and I made a mission for the Bogan in the temple grounds. Sreeya took the mission up and is in charge of that. So far I think she's doing a good job.

I don't know about the Assassination, but I've been trying to get a Jedi who will guard the Chancellor. IC I've shifted his view on Jedi and he's allowing a guard.

Actually this brings up another question. Is it alright that I create a Jedi Shadow group? If so would it be alright to assign someone as the leader of Shadow and possibly even have a subforum for them? It needs more discussion and thought.

Just ftr, that was just an RP Sreeya and I were going to do. As such, we are doing it...tbh we were both a bit stumped as to why you put it up as a mission, she was only telling you what was going on.

Yeah the assassination has nothing to do with the Chancellor. I mean his son is present, but it's nothing to do with him.

I wanted it done anyway, she took initiative. I also think this could turn into something much bigger.

I think the shadow Jedi group could be a good idea. They've existed in canon.

Investigating the Bogan is difficult when no one but the Bogan knows anything about them. I worked with you OOC to let the Jedi temple be destroyed, maybe it's time for the Bogan to make the mistake.

you totally could've focused on capturing one of my guys at the temple, or back when Em's character was near turning the the light side when she was with her husband before she gave the OK to be captured and killed. I've given lots of oppertunities y'know.

You know during the attack there were issues with every Bogan I fought, one ending in a charter being removed because it wasn't allowed.

Em's character was near turning the the light side when she was with her husband before she gave the OK to be captured and killed.

I never knew anything about her character.

"We never talk anymore Sheo. You need to tell em things, we don't talk like we used to." Maybe we should work out a thread about that, as in plan it like we did the Temple.

If Sheo would let Banik leave Ando Prime, there would be more conflict between the Jedi and the Bogan.
