BENDU ORDER
PROPHECIES OF THE SKYWALKER

JournaloftheWhills.JPG

The Prophecies of The Skywalker were a set of writings that foretold the coming of kings, rulers and other legendary figures throughout history. From the time of the exodus off of Had Abaddon to his death on Kal'Shabbol, many visions came to The Skywalker which led him to write eight distinct prophecies that would span over one hundred thousand years and multiple galaxies. He wrote them within his own sacred journals and they were eventually some of the first entries of the Journal of the Whills after the establishment of the Order of the Whills.

After the Jedi Bendu exodus from Had Abaddon, the newly created order made its way to the Promised Land which they knew to be the ancient world of Kal’Shabbol. Having been the first to set foot upon it in thousands of years, they began constructing their first monastery that would also serve as the religious home of The Skywalker. After construction was complete, The Skywalker sat down upon his newly created alter to pray. However, what he saw was unexpected. He began seeing flashes of a man fighting with a blade made of pure energy and light, something that The Skywalker referred to as a “laser sword”. It took him years to interpret it’s meaning, but eventually he was able to decipher it and called it the Prophecy of the Voyager.

As the years went by, he had many more visions of many more people. It took him years to decipher each one, but there was one that took him longer than the rest. He called it the Prophecy of the Son of the Suns and he simply could not break through it. As he was becoming ill, he feared that he would never crack the mystery that was the prophecy. Finally, he reached his deathbed. He told his children that they and their descendants would go out among the stars and create what would later be called the Order of the Whills. The Whills would follow the Jedi Bendu to dwell within the light of the Ashlan Nebula. On the fourth planet, he said, they would record the continuing saga of the Jedi Bendu and a great Republic that would last for thousands of generations once it was created. Just before he passed, he realized the meaning of the prophecy and urged his children to write down what he said so it could be recorded later on. He realized that the Whills would be sustained by their task until a dark shadow crossed over them, but eventually a savior would arise from the land of the twin suns and rescue them from the abyss.

Once the Order of the Whills was established, The Skywalker’s children and the Chief of the Whills knew that they would have to begin on what they were destined to begin. They put together a large, blank manuscript, one that they came to call the Journal of the Whills. The first pages of the journal contained the words of The Skywalker, stating how the Whills would tell the story of the Jedi Bendu and the future Republic, as well as the prophecies that The Skywalker had created. Once that part of the journal was sealed, it would never see the light of day again, the prophecies would be fulfilled.

PROPHECY OF THE VOYAGER

The first prophecy seen and spoken by The Skywalker was the Prophecy of the Voyager. In it, he saw a young warrior with a blue beam of energy fighting against a dark warrior with a crimson beam of energy. The blue blade soon became blood red, signifying a betrayal. However, the two crimson blades soon became light once more. One of the blades died out, but the other continued to become brighter and brighter until all became white. The young warrior stepped out of the shadows, a smile on his face, with his arms wide open in a sea of love and comfort. His version of the prophecy was spoken as follows:
In a time of great chaos
A warrior of untold power
Will rise from Hell’s brink.
He will be forced to flee
In the end, he will vow
To fight no more, forever.
But the day will come
When he is forced to fight
And he will do so with valor.
When this laborer’s task is o’er
When the battle day has past
Upon the very farthest shore
Will land this voyager at last.
After the end of the Great Territorial War, Ussej Padric Bac and his family was forced to flee into the Unknown Regions to avoid death at the hands of those still loyal to the fallen Sith Empire. They were picked up by members of the Bendu Order who believed that Ussej would go on to fulfill the prophecy, based on his experiences as a Jedi and a Sith. What truly made them believe was Ussej’s vow to fight only when necessary and never kill another living being. They were taken to the world of the Bendu and were given training in their ways.

Many years later, the former Sith Empress Viea attacked Kal'Shabbol, forcing Ussej to fight once again. The former empress tested him, tempting him to kill her. Ussej refused and only a few seconds later, she stabbed him through the chest. He did, however, manage to disarm her as he fell. Her blade cutting through the thing ledge itself, the evil one tempted him to end it once more. He still refused, telling her that he did not have to, as the ground was about to give away. When it did, the two warriors fell hundreds of feet to the ground below, killing them both. Upon his death, Ussej’s soul was immediately transported to the shores of Ashlan Four where he found the monastery of the Whills, as well as The Skywalker, waiting for him. At that moment, he realized that the prophecy was true, though it was not until Ussej Padric Bac III was momentarily taken to Ashlan Four to speak with him did anyone realize that the prophecy had come true.

PROPHECY OF THE NIGHT'S CHILDREN
The second prophecy seen and spoken by The Skywalker was the Prophecy of the Night’s Children. In it, he saw a dark warrior, one with blue skin and red eyes like he had never seen before, standing upon a moon as it rose above a throne. A group of warriors made their way out from around the throne and began to weave a web, as if they were spiders, singing dark prayers and spells. They crept through the shadows, speaking of the darkness and speaking of secrets that were better left unsaid. The prophecy was spoken as follows:

PROPHECY OF THE SITH'ARI
The third prophecy seen and spoken by The Skywalker was the Prophecy of the Sith’ari. In it, he saw the coming of an exemplar of the ideals of the Dark Side. The figure in it, a near-Human, was first seen as weak and as a nobody, someone with very little strength. But, as he slaughtered those who opposed him, he eventually came out on top. He watched a battle from the sidelines and then, when the timing seemed almost perfect, there was an explosion. When the dust settled, the figure was the only dark one left, at least for that moment in time. Though he never officially recorded the prophecy, as he believed it to be too grim for anyone else to see, he did tell one of his sons that he believed that the being would be perfect, someone who would rise to be a prominent figure in an army of darkness and then destroy them. However, out of the ashes, he would make the order stronger than ever.

PROPHECY OF THE GUARDIAN
The fourth prophecy seen and spoken by The Skywalker was the Prophecy of the Guardian. In it, see saw the coming of yet another perfect being, but unlike the Sith’ari this one was not as powerful as most of those he surrounded himself with. The figure in it, a Human, albeit a scared Human, was chained to a wall. He broke free of his chains and unleashed his fury upon those around him. His strength was perfect, as was his power and, seemingly, his destiny. He stood at the front of an army of darkness, next to a woman who appeared to be his equal, and led the warriors into many battles. However, in their final battle, he stood opposed to them and destroyed them, allowing him to become more powerful than ever before. The recorded prophecy was written as follows:

In the time of great darkness in the Force of Others
One who has freed themselves of all restrictions
Will reach perfection and fulfill their ultimate potential
Perfect strength, perfect power, perfect destiny;
All of these traits will be synonymous with him.
He will lead the chosen warriors of darkness
Into their greatest era and their final battle.
Yet, through their destruction, the survivors
Will become more powerful than ever.

PROPHECY OF THE SON OF THE SUNS
The fifth prophecy seen and the last spoken by The Skywalker was the Prophecy of the Son of the Suns. In it, he saw his children and their descendants go out among the stars and create a grand order of spiritual beings. They followed his children where they would dwell in the light of the Ashlan Nebula and record their story on the fourth planet. These creatures continued to be sustained by their task until a dark shadow crossed over them, but a savior soon emerged from the land of the twin suns and pulled them from the abyss, thereby bringing balance to the Force of Others. The text of the prophecy, which did not truly include what was seen in his vision, was recorded as follows:

In the time of greatest despair
There shall come a savior
And he shall be known as
The Son of the Suns.
He will be born to purity
As the son of the Jedi Bendu.
Some will wish him dead.
Others will wish to exploit him.
In the end, he shall bring balance,
And then he shall bring harmony.
He shall bring emotion,
And then he shall bring compassion.
He shall bring order into chaos,
And then he shall bring justice.
For a time, the Bogan shall reign.
Yet the followers cannot be dismayed
At the future the Chosen One creates.
For hope shall yet be born anew.
Out of the deepest darkness
The brightest of all lights shall shine.
And come the awaited judgment day
The Ophuchi will announced the return.

After the schism that saw the collapse of the Jedi Bendu Order into the Jedi Order and the Bendu Order, the text of the prophecy was the only one that the Jedi Order kept, though they referred to it as the Prophecy of the Chosen One.

PROPHECY OF THE KING OF KINGS
The sixth prophecy seen and spoken of by The Skywalker was the Prophecy of the King of Kings. In it, he saw the coming of a legendary warrior emerge from the shadow of his father, the Son of the Suns, on a landscape like nothing he had ever seen before. The figure marched to the top of a grand staircase of an ancient monastery and held a mighty sword high above his head. With his blade and the wise words of a sage, he would reunite the people of God under the banner of truth and justice, freedom and democracy. The text of the prophecy was recorded as follows:

In the time of greatest despair
There shall come a great savior
And he shall be known as the Son of the Suns.
He will be aided by his son,
The greatest of all kings.
This great and mighty king,
Born in the most humble place,
Will be a legendary sign
To thousands of generations
That if you follow your heart,
Good and hope will prevail.
He will reunite God’s people
With a message foretold
Long ago in the Heavens.
Forever will he be seen as
The Son of the Son
The Lord of Lords
The King of Kings.

PROPHECY OF THE LAST SON
The seventh prophecy seen and spoken of by The Skywalker was the Prophecy of the Last Son. In the vision, he saw a ship emerge from a large cloud in space and fly towards a small, watery world. On the world, he witnessed many sites. He saw the buildings of three large pyramids in the sand, he saw the crucifixion of an innocent, bearded man, he saw the decline of a great civilization on the eastern continent, he saw world-wide wars, hunger, famine, disease and destruction. But, from the rubble, he saw a young man emerge waving a flag of peace, justice and freedom. The man walked with another figure, a young woman, he held a small child in her arms. The prophecy was never written down, though The Skywalker believed that the world was the Planet of God and that the figure was a savior of the universe. Furthermore, he believed that the small child was a royal heir, sharing the blood of two great Jedi Bendu families.
