Codename: PUSH

HISTORY: I'll be honest, 'never been too good with words, so I'll try to keep this short.

I used to be a Jedi, back when I thought the galaxy was all sugar and rainbows, back when I thought we could still fix the problem. 'Turns out, we were the problem. Sentient life. We rape, murder, whore ourselves out, all manner of indecency, and yet we only cry foul when someone steals our money or damages our property. 'Know any rich ****s who own their own moon? Yeah, how you think they got that shiny rock? It wasn't from respectable work. And the Jedi, their solution was to try and shut themselves off from all emotion, or at least try to control it, and sit around meditating, waiting for the Force to tell them what to do. Doesn't work, believe me.

'Bout a decade back, I finally figured it all out. Jedi had it wrong, we couldn't just keep sitting on our asses. We want to clean up the galaxy, we gotta get our hands dirty. We gotta get out there and punish some people, show them some justice. Put the filth and indecency to an end. But how to do that? Vigilante work only gets one so far. Couldn't do it on my own. Found that out the hard way.

I stayed with the Jedi Order for about a year after coming to this realisation, using them as a way to gather intelligence on local criminal organizations on Coruscant. Good idea. Should have known it would only work for so long. Knew Masters would find out sooner or later, but I didn't think they would leave me out to dry like they did. The one who had trained me, Twi'lek Jedi Master Yodo, caught me while on an unauthorized mission. Infiltrated a spice ring that had ties leading to some off-world smugglers, who in turn had affiliations with the Hutts. Yodo told me then and there that I was to suspend any and all investigations immediately pending a hearing before the Council. Thrown off the case. Furious, I attacked him. He was startled, fought back. It was over faster than a round of kriffing sabaac. Seared almost half my face off, Yodo did. Accident, he said. Not giving up investigation, I said. We went our separate ways. I should have gone to hospital before pursuing lead.

That same night I almost died. Followed targets back to a warehouse. It was a trap. They were waiting for me. Fire burned the whole building to the ground. Local police put out the blaze, found me. A few days later I got a visit from a man who never did give me his name. Recruited me. SECTOR 13. Found new family. Had facial reconstruction surgery the next month. No one would recognize me.

Heard news of Master Yodo's death a few years later. Felt real loss for the first time.

For the past nine years I've worked with SECTOR 13, cleaning up the galaxy one world at a time. Most of the time I don't know what my targets have done, but I know they're all bad men. All of them, bad men. Helps me sleep at night, knowing that. I'm good at this job, never was too good at being a Jedi. Weapons are nicer too. No more lightsaber, though I do still carry my old one with me. Keep waiting on the day my dossier says to make it look like Jedi were involved. Good at that, making it look like someone else did it, cover my tracks. Government likes that. They don't want any trace leading back to them. Population would riot if they knew. Good that they don't. Helps them sleep at night too.

SHIPS: Lady MacBeth, or Lady Mac for short. Fine boat. Light transport (shaped like an arrow) fitted with two small dual-mounted turbo lasers. Top of the line. Unlike other vessels though, the Lady Mac has no forward or rear viewports. Everything can be seen through the various viewscreens in the cockpit, however, so piloting remains unhindered. PUSH doesn't like having pre-made holes in his ship, as it makes him uneasy. There is no control yoke or stick either, everything is accessed via touch-screen, a system created and installed by some of the brainiacs at SECTOR 13.

GEAR: Two silenced pistols (all black), firing magnetically-accelerated metallic rounds (harder for Jedi and the like to dodge); prototype sniper blaster rifle (breaks down into three pieces); standard-hilt blue-bladed lightsaber; various types of grenades, including gas, fragmentation, sticky, incendiary, and acidic; prototype personal shield emitter belt (lasts 30 seconds against most types of energy weapons).

I like him. Perhaps not as much as I like Grognak and Serpentis, but still, well done.

Basically what I got from reading.

This guy is a hardass.

But you did a good job on writing it. Kept me interested.

I thought it was a mix between rorschach and that guy from SIN city.
I did draw some inspiration from those characters, yes. I tried to keep the profile vague though, enough so I could flesh the character out more through RPs instead of my usual spilling of guts and intentions like my other profiles.

It was definitely one of the best profiles I've seen in a while.

This makes me want to create an S13 guy. GHOST would make an interesting S13 agent if they took robots and could convince him to work with him...
